Abstract

The COVID-19 and digitalization trends have brought changes to the way producers and consumers interact, especially in payment transactions. In Indonesia, one method of using digital payments is using a QR code standard known as the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). In accepting technology, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) can help predict one's acceptance of technology. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of adopting QR codes for payment on the financial performance of MSMEs in Indonesia and identify the factors and indicators that influence MSMEs in adopting QRIS. There were 296 respondents, who are users and non-users of QRIS from micro businesses throughout Indonesia. Questionnaires were distributed online, and data processing used the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results show that the intention to adopt QRIS can significantly affect the financial performance of MSMEs, which in this case relates to an increase in the number and nominal transactions, sales turnover, business cash flow, and sales records. Perceived convenience, social influence, perceived usefulness, and perceived cost have a significant effect on influencing micro businesses to use QRIS. On the other hand, perceived compatibility, trust, personal innovativeness, and moderation variable such as length of business and experience of using digital payment does not significantly affect the micro business intention of using QRIS.

Abstract

Forest destruction both in the form of deforestation and degradation continues. Forest management on the basis of partnership with the community is also one of forest management methods to tackle deforestation. Agroforestry company has a commitment to support legal teak supplies and support teak forest afforestation. Plant breeding efforts were being undertaken all national agroforestry company and implemented in cooperation with BPPT as a partner to obtain superiorteak plants. A problem in producing a superior teak seedling is the high cost of seed production. Because of this, teak seedlings produced. Materials used for the study were obtained from questionnaires carried out by employees. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, structured equation model and value stream analysis tools. The results reveal that the main factors affecting the production process of teak seedlings are transportation, process, human, material and machine. The improvement of production system teak seedlings will be applied in the following order of priority: transportation with 60.8% influential level, motion with 49.5% effective level, defect with 3.8% influential level, and inventory with 2.5% influential level.

Abstract

Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) is the highly demanded fruit for export commodity from Indonesia. The biggest mangosteen production center in Indonesia is West Java Province that includes Purwakarta, Subang, Bogor, and Tasikmalaya contributing 90% of mangosteen production in West Java Province and 29% of national mangosteen production. The activities of mangosteen production in West Java Province have not been efficient yet, so the potential source of the fruit in West Java Province is not efficient enough to compete internationally. In order to have competitive advantages, supply chain management in mangosteen business was initiated in Bogor district in 2007 which integrated processes from receiving raw material to selling finished products. Needs identification and institutional structure in emerging supply chain of mangosteen in Bogor District were necessary to be carried out to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the chain to achieve its objectives. In running its business processes, the member of the chain will be linked between each other. Supply chain needs will also be linked with each other. In this study, Intepretative Structural Modeling was used to describe the relationship between needs of the chain and relationships among the institutions in the chain.

Abstract

Digital transformation is inevitable for all global organizations as the technology grows rapidly. It has been significantly changing business landscape as well as business model. Digital transformation initiatives have been widely implemented by organizations in various global industries, however most of this efforts failed. Recent studies found that management is one of key factors attributed to the failure. This study aimed at analyzing the relationship between variables that influence digital transformation succes, in particularly in the property industry. It based on full range leadership model and supported by extension variables, such as organizational culture and readiness for change. 125 samples from mid managers of a property company were analyzed using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The result indicates that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on digital transformation through organizational culture and readiness for change. This study suggests organization’s top management to encourage middle managers in implementing transformational leadership behaviors in order to achieve successful digital transformation.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia’s beef feedlot industry plays a strategic role in national food security; however, it remains constrained by persistent feed shortages, fragmented supply chains, and inconsistent regulatory frameworks. Existing studies have examined these challenges separately but have not produced an integrated strategic business model that aligns policy, technology, markets, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to address them.Purpose: This study aims to develop a Strategic Business Model Canvas (SBMC) to improve the resilience, sustainability, and competitiveness of Indonesia’s feedlot industry by integrating policy coherence, technological adoption, market strengthening, and Quadruple Helix collaboration.Design/methodology/approach: A qualitative, field-based design was employed using expert interviews, open-ended questionnaires, field observations, and policy document analysis. Data were collected from 20 key stakeholders representing government, industry, academia, and farmer groups across East Java. Open and axial coding were used to identify systemic bottlenecks, which were then mapped into the SBMC framework and validated through methodological triangulation.Findings/Result: Four structural constraints were identified—feed availability gaps, supply chain inefficiencies, regulatory fragmentation, and weak stakeholder coordination. The proposed SBMC introduces strategic levers including local feed innovation, digital traceability, improved breeder–feedlot integration, and cross-sector partnerships. These mechanisms enhance value creation, reduce import dependency, and strengthen system resilience in line with ESG-oriented agribusiness transformation. Conclusion: The SBMC developed in this study provides a theory-informed and stakeholder-validated framework that bridges policy design and operational realities in Indonesia’s feedlot sector. It offers a practical roadmap for achieving a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable beef supply chain.Originality/value (State of the art): This study is the first to develop an empirically grounded SBMC for the Indonesian feedlot industry by integrating the Quadruple Helix model with strategic dimensions of policy, market, technology, and governance. It provides a comprehensive transformation framework with clear operational implications for achieving national food sovereignty. Keywords: food sovereignty, inclusive agribusiness, Indonesia beef cattle industry, strategic Business Model Canvas (SBMC), quadruple helix collaboration

Abstract

This paper provides a review of the application of blockchain technology in industrial supply chains in general. It aims to investigate how current blockchain technology is and its applications and to look for research loopholes that have not been done before. The theory of several research papers that have been published in journals to date, along with several reports from the grayish literature as a means of streamlining judgments about growing blockchain-based supply chains is included in this review. The research step is to identify papers based on the year of publication so that a theory-based understanding of blockchain technology in the Agro-Industrial Supply Chain ecosystem, between 2007 and 2019. Blockchain technology in the agro-industry supply chain described in the framework in 2018 is 6.57%, while the implication for the case study is 9.11% and identified in the hypothesis with a questionnaire regarding blockchain recognition and exploration so that 4.5% of the blockchain model simulation. Based on the graph, there are 52% of blockchain research articles on the agro-industrial supply chain will be followed up by researchers, thereby increasing the value chain in agro-industry more. Research that discusses the value (value) in the supply chain that occurs from upstream to downstream in the agro-industrial supply chain ecosystem is very little, only around 2%. Excellence blockchain can identify the stakeholders that exist in the supply chain in each ecosystem from upstream to downstream processes so that it can transform a rigid and uncertain supply chain system into an efficient performance supply chain with transparency and trust between stakeholders so that integration, collaboration, and accuracy accurate data information

Abstract

The complex supply chain system for the sugar agroindustry supply chain involves many actors, resulting in the asymmetry of information data. It still leads to a lack of data transparency. In the past, data traceability could not be made efficient at every stage, so the record data transaction was not real-time, less accurate, and inefficient coordination between actors. Blockchain is one of the technologies in the 4.0 era as a distributed ledger technology. It can be transparency, traceability, security, immutability, and decentralization. This study aims to design a white sugar agroindustry system based on blockchain technology using the SDLC waterfall stage public. Ethereum is a proof-of-work convention based on the Ropsten test-net on the Metamask wallet. The sugar supply chain system that has been successfully developed allows consumers to track the purchased sugar products based on the transaction hash code sent by the seller. The data listed is the location of the plantation, the quantity (quintal) and quality of sugarcane (percentage), and the purchase price. A web-based blockchain application could be used as a model by national sugar factories to help them make enough sugar food for themselves.
