Abstract

This study analyzed educators' strategies for instilling early childhood religious character. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and data collection procedures through interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The collected data related to students' numeracy skills and the use of innovative tree media were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The result of this study is that religious character is an integration of creed, sharia, and morals. PAUD Kartika Buana Pagotan Geger Madiun instills religious feelings in students, which is associated with the creation of PAUD religious culture both related to aspects of creed, sharia, and morals as well as the encouragement of leaders to go through the order of spiritual values that are entrenched in PAUD. The creed aspect is introduced through songs, games, and fairy tales. The Sharia aspect invites students to practice worship, and the moral element is instilled through school rules and student promises. The commitment to maintaining religious culture in PAUD Kartika Buana is always considered, even though the facilities for places of worship have yet to be available.

Abstract

Cannibalism, a common ecological phenomenon in various species, significantly impacts the population dynamics of mud crabs (Scylla sp.). This study develops a mathematical model to analyze the effects of cannibalism and protective refuges on the population sustainability of juvenile and adult mud crabs. The model identifies two equilibrium points: the extinction equilibrium and the coexistence equilibrium. Stability analysis using the Jacobian matrix reveals that the extinction equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable under specific conditions. In contrast, the coexistence equilibrium depends on the transition rate from juvenile to adult crabs and the effectiveness of protective measures. Numerical simulations demonstrate that increasing the transition rate and implementing higher levels of refuge protection mitigate the adverse effects of cannibalism, enhancing population stability. These findings provide a quantitative foundation for sustainable fisheries management and conservation strategies for mud crab populations in mangrove ecosystems.

Abstract

Structural Equation Modeling - Generalized Structured Component Analysis (SEM-GSCA) is a component-based method suitable for limited sample sizes. GSCA is appropriate for structural models that include variables with reflective and formative indicators. This study utilizes the Alternating Least Square (ALS) parameter estimation. Iterations in ALS are used to achieve minimal residuals. Additionally, this study employs jackknife resampling to obtain standard error estimates. This study aims to identify the poverty model structure in Indonesia and examine the relationships among poverty, human resources, economic, and health variables. The results of the structural model of poverty in Indonesia are explained as follows: the influence of human resources and economic variables on poverty is insignificant, while the health variable significantly negatively influences poverty. Furthermore, the health variable significantly influences human resources, and both human resources and health significantly influence the economy.

Abstract

Abstract

Entrepreneurship Training and Outreach for Business Actors to Enhance Competitiveness and Innovation Abstract Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia face significant challenges regarding low adoption of digital technology and limited innovation capabilities that hinder their competitiveness. This community service activity aimed to enhance entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through integrated training for 100 participants comprising MSME actors, students, and alumni of Tadulako University. The implementation method combined lectures, interactive workshops, and hands-on practice over 2 days (September 11-12, 2025), covering business strategy, digital marketing, financial management, and product innovation development. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test using structured Likert-scale questionnaires. Results demonstrated significant improvements across four aspects: business strategy comprehension increased by 50.3% with 67% of participants achieving the target; digital marketing proficiency reached 76% of participants capable of operating at least 2 platforms; financial management competency was attained by 73% of participants; and 54% of participants generated product innovation ideas. The practical learning approach utilizing free tools such as Excel, Canva, and social media platforms proved effective in enhancing participants' capacity. The hybrid and participatory approach with integration of digital tools based on local needs has not been widely studied in entrepreneurship training in Indonesia, making this model a novel contribution in the context of campus-based community entrepreneurship education that can be replicated for accelerating digital literacy among micro-MSMEs. The success of this programme contributes to the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), whilst strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus environment.

Abstract

Fiscal decentralization has been a key element of Indonesia’s regional autonomy policy, aiming to distribute authority and resources from the central to local governments to foster equitable development. Despite substantial increases in fiscal transfers through mechanisms such as the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Special Allocation Fund (DAK), underdeveloped regions in South Sulawesi continue to face persistent development gaps in infrastructure, public services, and socioeconomic outcomes. This study aims to examine the implementation of fiscal decentralization policies and their impact on the development of underdeveloped districts in South Sulawesi, focusing on the interplay between fiscal transfers, local governance capacity, and geographic constraints. Using a qualitative library research method, data were collected from government regulations, official reports, statistical data, and scholarly literature, and analyzed through content analysis to identify key themes related to policy objectives, implementation, and development outcomes. The findings reveal that while fund allocation and disbursement rates are generally high, the developmental impact is constrained by weak budget planning, limited technical capacity, poor inter-agency coordination, and the dominance of routine expenditures over capital investments. Geographic challenges, particularly in remote and island districts, further inflate development costs and delay project completion. The study concludes that fiscal decentralization in South Sulawesi requires comprehensive reform, including differentiated allocation formulas, performance-based incentives, enhanced technical assistance, and stronger accountability mechanisms. Such measures are essential to ensure that fiscal decentralization achieves its intended goal of promoting inclusive, equitable, and sustainable regional development.
