Abstract

For education to be meaningful and student centered, primary school curricula should take into account the varied preparation levels, interests, and learning profiles of the pupils. Nevertheless, classroom practice has not fully embraced the Merdeka Curriculum framework's differentiated learning implementation. The purpose of this study was to examine the limitations faced at SD Negeri 1 Banjar Bali, teachers' comprehension and the use of differentiated learning across content, process, product, and learning environment components. A purposive sample of primary school teachers was used in a descriptive qualitative design. Non-participant observation, interviews, and document analysis were used to gather data, which were then analysed utilizing methods for data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that although teachers have a conceptual understanding of differentiated learning, its application is still flexible. While process and learning environment diversification is used more frequently, content and product differentiation is less effective because of time constraints, workloads, learning facilities, and difficulties with classroom management. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ practical capacity, improving infrastructure support, and allocating time for instructional development are necessary to ensure sustainable and optimal implementation of differentiated learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is based on problems related to the limitations of digital media, such as Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) as a learning media that aligns with the analysis of needs, student characteristics, and the low understanding of science concepts among elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of outdoor education-based E-LKPD. This study uses the ADDIE development model with data collection methods in the form of questionnaires and tests. The data analysis methods used in this study are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of outdoor education-based E-LKPD is measured using a one group pretest-posttest design involving 35 students. The research results indicate that: (1) the media validation results obtained an average score of 4,6 from content experts and 4.7 from media experts, which fall into the very good category; (2) the practicality of the E-LKPD was obtained through teacher response assessments and student response assessments, which achieved average scores of 4,88 and 4,50 respectively, indicating that both scores fall into the very practical category; (3) the effectiveness test results using a paired t-test showed a significance value of 0.000, less than 0,05, which means there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores after the treatment using the E-LKPD media. Thus, the use of outdoor education-based E-LKPD is effective in enhancing elementary school students’ understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar menjadi tantangan krusial di tengah krisis ekosistem global, ditandai kesenjangan signifikan antara pemahaman konseptual ekosistem dan partisipasi aksi nyata akibat pembelajaran konvensional yang pasif. Penelitian ini mengembangkan dan menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif diorama ekosistem berbasis Augmented Reality untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan secara komprehensif. Penelitian Research and Development menggunakan model ADDIE dengan desain one group pretest-posttest pada tahap implementasi. Subjek meliputi 2 ahli media, 2 ahli materi, 2 guru, serta 18 siswa kelas V sebagai responden uji coba. Data dikumpul melalui angket validitas/kepraktisan dan tes literasi lingkungan (pretest-posttest). Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan paired sample t-test setelah uji normalitas-homogenitas. Hasil menunjukkan media memenuhi kriteria validitas sangat baik, kepraktisan sangat baik, serta efektif meningkatkan literasi lingkungan secara signifikan. Media diorama AR menjembatani action gap melalui pengalaman imersif yang mengubah konsep abstrak menjadi aksi konkret, mendukung Kurikulum Merdeka secara general. Implikasi penelitian memperkaya repertoar IPAS digital dan fasilitasi profil pelajar Pancasila bertanggung jawab lingkungan.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to design, develop, and validate a culturally adapted Digital Fun Thinkers learning tool to enhance scientific conceptualization and learning responsibility among deaf and hard-of-hearing elementary students in Bengkala Village, Bali, Indonesia. Methodology: This study employed the ADDIE instructional design model and a one-group pretest–posttest quasi-experimental design. The Digital Fun Thinkers tool was developed as an interactive multimedia application. Data were analyzed using Aiken’s V, paired-sample t-test, and normalized gain (N-Gain). Main Findings: Expert validation indicated high validity (media experts: V = 0.9583; material experts: V = 0.9350) and very practical use (user satisfaction = 81.39%). Students’ scientific conceptualization improved significantly (t = -37.997, p < 0.001; N-Gain = 0.7338, large effect). Learning responsibility averaged 66.28 (very high category). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a culturally grounded digital learning tool integrating Kata Kolok sign language, gamified features, and local scientific contexts for deaf learners. It advances inclusive science education by providing empirically validated, technology-enhanced resources tailored to marginalized DHH communities in rural settings.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study examines the effectiveness of a technology-enhanced character education model based on the Balinese Tri Hita Karana philosophy in developing primary students’ competencies aligned with SDG 4. Using blended learning, it addresses gaps in research on culturally grounded technology integration in character education. Methodology: This quasi-experimental study involved 92 fifth-grade students from four primary schools in Karangasem, Bali, comparing a Technology-Enhanced Tri Hita Karana Character Education Model with conventional instruction. Using LMS, digital portfolios, gamification, and learning analytics, competencies were assessed through questionnaires, portfolios, and observations, with data analyzed using t-tests, ANCOVA, and thematic analysis. Main Findings: The experimental group demonstrated significantly higher graduate competency scores (M=81.89, SD=9.78) compared to the control group (M=70.02, SD=10.02), t(90)=5.98, p<.001, Cohen's d=1.25, indicating a large effect size. Analysis of digital portfolio data revealed enhanced self-regulated learning behaviors and deeper engagement with character development activities. Qualitative analysis showed that students appreciated the gamification elements and found the LMS-mediated learning more engaging and meaningful. Learning analytics data indicated consistent progress tracking and timely teacher interventions. Novelty/Originality of this study: The technology-enhanced Tri Hita Karana character education model effectively develops primary students’ competencies through culturally grounded digital pedagogy. This study strengthens evidence on technology-mediated character education and shows how local wisdom supports global educational goals. It highlights the need for teacher professional development and policy support to implement culturally responsive, technology-enhanced, and sustainable blended learning in primary education.

Abstract

Guru cenderung mengabaikan penambahan bantuan media pembelajaran yang menyebabkan siswa kesulitan belajar IPA. Selain itu, penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa kurangnya media Selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran online juga hanya dilakukan melalui WA group. Hal ini menyebabkan materi siklus air juga kurang dijelaskan secara merinci. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan multimedia interaktif pada topik siklus air untuk siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 6 orang ang terdiri dari 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media pembelajaran serta 2 orang guru IPA. Subjek uji coba yaitu siswa kelas V sekolah dasar berjumlah 20 siswa. Metode mengumpulkan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian dari ahli materi pembelajaran dengan skor 3,60 (kategori sangat baik); media pembelajaran dengan skor 3.78 (kategori sangat baik); skor kepraktisan yaitu 3.81 (sangat baik) dan skor siswa yaitu 3,98 (sangat baik). Disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran IPA dengan topik siklus air layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Multimedia interaktif dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA saat ini belum mencerminkan kegiatan menyenangkan, mandiri serta bermakna bagi siswa. Beberapa guru cenderung mengalami hambatan ketika membuat media yang menunjang kegiatan belajar khususnya terkait proses pemecahan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasis Project Based Learning untuk siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 2 orang ahli isi pelajaran, 2 ahli media pembelajaran, dan 4 orang praktisi. Subjek uji coba penelitian terdiri dari 25 orang siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian yaitu penilaian dari ahli isi materi pelajaran yaitu 96,5% (sangat baik). Hasil penilaian dari ahli media pembelajaran yaitu  98,5% (sangat baik). Hasil respon praktisi mendapatkan penilaian yaitu 97,6% (sangat praktis) dan respon siswa yaitu 96,6% (sangat baik). Disimpulkan bahwa Media Audio Visual Berbasis PjBL mendapatkan kualifikasi sangat baik, dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs as a basic of the trikaya parisudha learning model development in primary school to improve students’ science process skills and character values. This research used survey method. The populations of this research are the principals, teachers, and fourth grade students in primary schools which implement Curriculum 2013 in Karangasem Regency, Bali. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling technique, determine 6 primary schools, along with the principals, 12 teachers, and 120 students. The data were collected by using questionnaires, observation, and interview. The data were analyzed descriptively. The result shows that the development of Trikaya Parisudha learning model is needed in order to increase students’ science process skills and character values.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan sebagai dasar pengembangan model pembelajaran trikaya parisudha di sekolah dasar untuk peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan nilai-nilai karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar inti pelaksana Kurikulum 2013 di Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, diperoleh 6 sekolah dasar, beserta kepala sekolahnya, 12 guru, dan 120 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran trikaya parisudha sangat dibutuhkan untuk peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan nilai-nilai karakter siswa.
