Abstract

Fenomena kesulitan siswa dalam memilih jurusan kuliah yang sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan prospek kerja menjadi isu penting di Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Palembang. Banyak siswa mengambil keputusan berdasarkan tren, tekanan teman sebaya, atau dorongan orang tua, tanpa mempertimbangkan potensi diri dan informasi yang memadai. Akibatnya, mereka menghadapi berbagai tantangan di pendidikan tinggi seperti kurangnya motivasi, ketidaksesuaian materi kuliah, hingga risiko drop out dan kesulitan masuk dunia kerja. Menyikapi permasalahan ini, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) menginisiasi kegiatan sosialisasi pemilihan jurusan kepada siswa SMA di Kota Palembang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui kunjungan langsung ke sekolah-sekolah, dengan metode presentasi, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengenalan jurusan, potensi karier, dan strategi memilih jurusan sesuai minat dan kemampuan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memperoleh pemahaman lebih baik tentang pilihan pendidikan tinggi dan prospek kerja, serta merasa terbantu dalam mengenali potensi diri dan menyusun rencana pendidikan. Sekolah juga menyambut baik kegiatan ini sebagai langkah strategis untuk membimbing siswa. Sosialisasi ini diharapkan menjadi agenda tahunan yang berkelanjutan guna membantu siswa membuat keputusan akademik yang lebih bijak dan terarah, serta memperkuat kesiapan mereka menghadapi dunia kerja.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of compensation and competence on employee performance at PT. Bramasta Sarana Transportasi. In facing increasingly tight competition in the transportation industry, companies are required to have superior human resources with high performance. Fair compensation and adequate competence relevant to job demands are two key factors that are believed to be able to increase employee productivity. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach by distributing questionnaires to selected employees. The findings of the study indicate that compensation and competence have a significant and positive impact on employee performance. These results highlight the importance of companies providing fair compensation policies and continuous competence development through training programs to optimize work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and career development on employees' organizational commitment at Farmers Market PTC Mall Palembang. Using a quantitative approach with SPSS version 26, this research was conducted through a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 102 employees selected as samples from the total population of Farmers Market PTC Mall Palembang employees. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between the studied variables. The results indicate that work discipline and career development have a positive and significant effect on employees' organizational commitment. Employees with a high level of discipline tend to have a greater sense of responsibility towards the organization, while well-structured career development programs, such as training and promotion opportunities, enhance loyalty and work motivation. These findings provide recommendations for the company to focus more on improving discipline strategies and career development programs to create a more productive and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

Purpose: The performance of government employees called ASN in Indonesia is still considered low by various surveys and data. Factors that are considered to be the phenomenon causing low ASN performance are compensation, discipline, and competence. This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of compensation, discipline, and competence on employee performance. Methodology: The research design used is quantitative research. The population of the study was all employees of the General Section of the Kupang City Regional Secretariat totaling 114 employees. All employees were the research sample with a saturated sampling technique. Data were obtained through questionnaire interviews (Likert scale), observation, and documentation. The research data consisted of primary and secondary data. The data analysis method was multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The results of the study showed a t-value of compensation of 3.283 > t-table of 1.98137. Discipline has a t-value of 5.036 > t-table of 1.98137. The t-value of competency is 2.772 > t-table of 1.98137, and the F-value of 13.263 > F-table of 2.70, which indicates that compensation, discipline, and competency have a positive and significant effect on employee performance in the Regional Secretariat of Kupang City both partially and simultaneously. The three exogenous variables have a "strong" correlation to performance with an R2 value of 97.9%. Findings: This study highlights the importance of adequate employee compensation, high employee discipline as a professional commitment, and high employee competence to achieve high employee performance. Novelty: This study elaborates on the interaction between compensation, discipline, and competence in the context of employee performance in government organizations. Originality: This study contributes to the literature on employee performance at the Kupang City Regional Secretariat by addressing the gap in understanding these variables. Conclusion: Practical thinking is a recommendation for the Regional Secretariat organization to develop strategies to improve employee performance in accordance with the organization's expectations and goals. Type of Paper: Quantitative empirical research paper.

Abstract

Methodology: The research design used is quantitative research. The population of the study was all employees of the Kupang City DPRD Secretariat, totaling 97 employees. All employees became research samples with saturated sampling techniques. The data was obtained through questionnaire interviews (Likert scale), observation, and documentation. The research data consists of primary and secondary data. The data analysis method is multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The results of the study showed a t-value of professionalism of 2.712 > t-table of 1.9852. Workload has a t-value of 3.459 > t-table of 1.9852. The t-value of organizational climate is 11.442 > t-table of 1.9852, and the F-value of 365.582 > F-table of 2.70, which indicates that professionalism, workload, and organizational climate have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity at the Kupang City DPRD Secretariat both partially and simultaneously. The three exogenous variables have a "strong" correlation to performance with an R2 value of 92.2%. Findings: This study highlights the importance of high employee professionalism, the suitability of employee workload, and maintaining a conducive organizational climate to achieve high employee productivity. Novelty: This study elaborates on the interaction between professionalism, workload, and organizational climate in the context of employee productivity in government organizations. Originality: This study contributes to the literature on employee productivity at the Kupang City DPRD Secretariat by addressing the gap in understanding these variables. Conclusion: Practical thinking is a recommendation for the DPRD Secretariat organization to develop strategies to increase employee productivity in line with the organization's expectations and goals.  The population of the study was ASN in the Secretariat of the Kupang City DPRD. It is also important that the study be conducted on Members of the Kupang City DPRD as the highest political decision makers in the institution. Type of Paper: Quantitative empirical research.

Abstract

Purpose: Analyse and prove the effect of workload, emotional intelligence, and leadership style on the performance of the waste crew of the Kupang City Environmental and Hygiene Service. Methodology: This research is classified as quantitative research. The research population was 103 employees, and the entire population was sampled using the saturated sample technique. The types of research data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, closed questionnaire interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis Results: workload and emotional intelligence partially had a positive and significant effect on performance. Performance is not influenced by leadership style. Performance is simultaneously influenced by workload, emotional intelligence, and leadership style. The contribution of workload, emotional intelligence, and leadership style is 70.2% to performance, which means the correlation between variables is ‘strong’. Findings: The results of this study indicate that the implementation of workload, emotional intelligence, and leadership style has been in accordance with the needs of the organization, thus having an impact on employee performance. These three variables need to be maintained and increased exogeneity so that they have an endogeneity effect on employee performance. Novelty: This research contributes to developing comprehensive human resource management science and further research in this field.  Originality: Improving employee performance in government organizations can be done by simultaneously paying attention to aspects of workload, emotional intelligence, and leadership style. Conclusion: Employee performance at the Kupang City DLHK  is influenced by workload, emotional intelligence, and leadership style. Type of Paper: Empirical research paper.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian secara khusus untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel Lingkungan Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT Union Mega Auto secara parsial ataupun secara simultan. Metode penelitian menggunakan menggunakan teknik kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 karyawan pada PT Union Mega Auto Palembang. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis SPSS 23. Pengujian data mengggunakan uji t, bahwa penelitian berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan t hitung 4.079 > t table 1.669, motivasi terhadap kinerja dengan t hitung 2.180 > t table 1.669, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja dengan t hitung 2.862 > t table 1.669 dan Lingkungan kerja, motivasi dan disiplin kerja dengan F hitung 60.981 > F table 1.669 , benang merah penelitian bahwa penelitian lingkungan kerja, motivasi dan disiplin kerja kurang diperhatikan dalam mengelolanya, diperlukannya motivasi agar para pegawai dapat menjalankan tugas mereka dengan baik dan perlu adanya tingkat disiplin kerja karyawan agar mencapi produktivitas kerja yang maksimal. Kata Kunci: Lingkungan Kerja (LK), Motivasi Kerja (MK), Disiplin Kerja (DK) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (KK). ABSTRACT The purpose of the study specifically to determine the influence of variables Work Environment, Work Discipline, Work Motivation on Employee Performance of PT Union Mega Auto partially or simultaneously. The research method uses questionnaire techniques, interviews and documentation. The sample of this study was 100 employees at PT Union Mega Auto Palembang. Data processing using SPSS 23 analysis. Data testing using the t test, that the study affects employee performance with a calculated t of 4.079> t table 1.669, motivation on performance with a calculated t of 2.180> t table 1.669, and work discipline on performance with a calculated t of 2.862> t table 1.669 and Work environment, motivation and work discipline with F count 60.981> F table 1.669, the common thread of the study that research on the work environment, motivation and work discipline is less considered in managing it, motivation is needed so that employees can carry out their duties well and there needs to be a level of employee work discipline in order to achieve maximum work productivity. Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian lokal, namun kerap menghadapi kendala pada aspek inovasi dan pengemasan. Desa Muara Damai, Kecamatan Sembawa, Kabupaten Banyuasin memiliki potensi pangan lokal berupa daun singkong yang selama ini hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, daun singkong diperkenalkan sebagai produk baru berupa keripik dengan pendampingan inovasi pengemasan. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi, pelatihan pembuatan keripik, praktik bersama masyarakat, serta pengemasan menggunakan plastik klip bening berlabel sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan masyarakat antusias mengikuti pelatihan, keripik daun singkong berhasil diproduksi untuk pertama kalinya, dan respons konsumen lokal terhadap rasa dan tampilan cukup positif. Inovasi kemasan sederhana turut memperkuat identitas produk. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal pemberdayaan UMKM desa sekaligus membuka peluang pengembangan produk khas lokal ke pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Koperasi, khususnya di daerah pedesaan, dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota dan memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat. Namun, banyak koperasi masih menghadapi kesulitan untuk membuat rencana bisnis awal, sehingga bisnis tidak memiliki arah strategis yang jelas. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu Koperasi Merah Putih di Desa Muara Damai, Kecamatan Sembawa, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan, membuat rencana bisnis awal yang sistematis. Proses pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi melalui tes awal dan tes akhir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengurus dan anggota koperasi telah memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang proses penyusunan rencana bisnis. Rencana bisnis awal ini juga mencakup visi, misi, tujuan usaha, identifikasi produk, strategi pemasaran, perencanaan operasional, dan proyeksi keuangan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan koperasi serta memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan usaha ke depan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMasyarakat Desa Muara Damai, Kecamatan Sembawa, Banyuasin, masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam memulai usaha kecil. Karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan, keahlian manajemen, dan sumber daya pemasaran yang tersedia, Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T) dirancang untuk meningkatkan semangat wirausaha, meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan usaha, dan memanfaatkan potensi lokal desa. Metode deskriptif partisipatif digunakan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan melalui penyuluhan, diskusi, simulasi, dan pendampingan usaha. Lebih dari empat puluh orang tergabung dalam masyarakat desa yang terdiri dari pelaku UMKM, kelompok tani, karang taruna, dan perangkat desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih memahami konsep kewirausahaan, lebih memahami cara membuat rencana bisnis sederhana, lebih memahami pengelolaan keuangan, lebih memahami strategi pemasaran, dan lebih tertarik untuk memulai bisnis sendiri. Selain itu, sebagai langkah awal menuju kemandirian ekonomi desa yang berkelanjutan, terbentuk jaringan kolaborasi antara masyarakat, usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM) dan pemerintah desa.Kata kunci: Kewirausahaan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, KKN-T, Desa Muara Damai ABSTRACTThe community of Muara Damai Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin, still faces difficulties in starting small businesses. Due to a lack of entrepreneurial knowledge, management skills, and available marketing resources, the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) was designed to foster entrepreneurial spirit, improve business management skills, and utilize the village's local potential. Participatory descriptive methods were used to implement the activities through outreach, discussions, simulations, and business mentoring. More than forty people joined the village community, consisting of MSMEs, farmer groups, youth organizations, and village officials. The results of the activity showed that participants gained a better understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship, a better understanding of how to create a simple business plan, a better understanding of financial management, a better understanding of marketing strategies, and a greater interest in starting their own businesses. Furthermore, as a first step toward sustainable village economic independence, a collaborative network was formed between the community, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and the village government. Keywords: Entrepreneurship, community empowerment, KKN-T, Muara Damai Village
