Abstract

Research on sustainable business has experienced exponential growth in the last decade, reflecting the global urgency for more socially and ecologically responsible business practices. This study adopts a bibliometric and Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to map the intellectual landscape, identify research trends and highlight the most influential academic contributions in the discipline. By analysing more than 17,000 articles from the Scopus database from 2005 to 2025, the study reveals publication patterns, networks of scholarly collaboration, and conceptual dynamics that shape the discourse on corporate sustainability strategies and circular economy. The analysis indicates that stakeholder-based approaches and the integration of sustainability in the supply chain are the main pillars of building sustainable business models.

Abstract

The increasingly intense business competition, both locally and globally, requires companies to continuously adapt and develop strategies to maintain their competitive advantage. Innovation and entrepreneurial orientation are two key factors that contribute to enhancing business competitiveness. Innovation enables companies to create new products, services, and processes that better meet market demands, while entrepreneurial orientation fosters risk-taking and the exploration of new opportunities. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze previous research on the relationship between innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, and competitive advantage. Based on a review of 30 articles, findings indicate that companies implementing innovation and possessing a strong entrepreneurial orientation are more likely to achieve and sustain competitive advantages. However, several challenges hinder the implementation of these strategies, including resource constraints, limited access to technology, and low digital literacy among small business actors. The study highlights the importance of integrating innovation and entrepreneurial orientation into business strategies for companies aiming to grow and survive in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Objective: This study explores the factors influencing impulsive buying behavior among students during discount events on e-commerce platforms. Method: This study using a qualitative phenomenological approach, then in-depth interviews were conducted with ten active students who have participated in at least two discount events in the past six months. Results: The study evidence that large discounts create a sense of increased value, while FOMO (fear of missing out) and social influences heighten the urgency to buy. Additionally, the intuitive design of e-commerce apps facilitates impulsive buying and emotional outcomes such as satisfaction and regret, illustrating the complexity behind these decisions. According to the current research findings, e-commerce platforms are encouraged to integrate features that promote more mindful shopping, while financial literacy initiatives targeting students are recommended. Furthermore, governments could consider regulations to limit excessive promotional practices and ensure greater consumer transparency. Novelty: This study contributes to understanding impulsive buying behavior, offering insights for creating a healthier and more sustainable shopping ecosystem for young consumers.

Abstract

Purpose: One of the important elements in the implementation of education is an effort to improve the quality of learning. Until now, the implementation of learning in vocational schools still follows a non-block system. This condition results in the practice carried out by students not achieving optimal completion, so that the required standard competencies are not met. One solution is to implement a block learning system including the effectiveness of time, tools, and location. This type of research is quantitative with a population of class X students of the office management and business service expertise program at SMKS YPM 3 Taman. The results of the study found that regarding learning using the block system, many students stated that this system was not boring. In our study on the implementation of the block system, they argued that the block system helps students focus more on learning because it uses a longer time. Methodology/Approach: This study adopts a quantitative approach Findings: In our study on the implementation of the block system, many students stated that this system is not boring. They argued that the block system helps students focus more on learning because it uses a longer time. Research limitations/implications: The limitation of this study is that the population focus was only taken from 1 school. Practical implications: For further research, it is hoped that several populations from various new schools that are implementing the block system can be used.
