Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang merupakan penelitian survei yang menggambarkan tentang objek yang diteliti yakni jenis perifiton yang ada ditambak ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) di kabupaten pangkep serta mengukur parameter kualitas air meliputi parameter fisika-kimia. Fisika yakni suhu, salinitas, dan kekeruhan. Kimia yakni pH dan amonia. Dalam keadaan seimbang perifiton yang tumbuh akan hidup dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 2 tambak dengan cara meletakkan substrat yakni kaca preparat selama 7 hari pada tambak setelah itu dilakukan identifikasi jenis perifiton di laboratorium mikrobiologi FMIPA UNM dengan menggunakan mikroskop optilab. Kemudian mengidentifikasinya dengan mencocokkan dengan buku identifikasi. Jenis-jenis perifiton yang ditemukan pada tambak ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) di kabupaten pangkep yakni Amaphora Asterionella, Navicula, Nitzchia, Closterium, Mikrospora, Mougeotia, Rhizoclonium, Zignema, Tribonema.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis fitoplankton pada salah satu tambak udang di Desa Bontomate?ne Kecamatan Segeri Kabupaten Pangkep. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel air tambak dan lumpur tambak. Identifikasi dilakukan dengan  pengamatan langsung pada mikroskop optilab dengan perbesaran 10x40. Sampel lumpur terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengenceran sampai 10-3 kemudian ditumbuhkan dengan menggunakan medium Walne. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan kemudian diidentifikasi berdasarkan buku identifikasi  Biggs dan Killroy dengan membandingkan karakteristik morfologi antara hasil penelitian dan buku acuan identifikasi. Hasil identifikasi didapatkan 16 genus dari 3 kelas Cyanophyceae (Oscillatoria dan anabaena), kelas Chlorophyceae (Ulohrix, Tribonema dan Pediastrum) dan kelas Bacillariophyceae (Surirella, Thalassiosira, Skeletonema, Coscinodiscus, Nitzschia, Epithemia, Navicula, Eutonia, Cymbella, Encyonema, dan Mastogloia).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Skletonema costatum sebagai pakan alami terhadap sintasan (tingkat kelulushidupan) Artemia salina. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data hasil sintasan dan kualitas air. Analisa statistik yang dilakukan adalah analisa ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ/Tukey untuk mengetahui perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh  yang terbaik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah perlakuan D dengan rata-rata hasil sintasannya yaitu 53%. Berdasarkan suhu, salinitas dan pH, kualitas air selama penelitian masih dalam kisaran yang layak untuk kehidupan Artemia salina kualitas air selama penelitian masih dalam kisaran yang layak untuk kehidupan Artemia salina. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan Skeletonema costatum dengan kepadatan 4,5 x 106 sel/L/hari mempengaruhi sintasan Artemia salina.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to know the potency of  bacteria zoogloea sp as indigenous bacteria  from shrimp pond farming in colonizing particles. Study of  particle-colonizing capacity of Zoogloea sp by using artificial-sphare agar and transparant exopolimeric particles (TEP) produced by fitoplankton, Thalassiosira weisfloggii. The results showed that Zoogloea sp were able to coloninize both artificial-agar spheres and TEP produced by T. weisfloggii.The mean number of  Zoogloea sp colonizing artificial-agar sphares increasing with incubation time was 2,70 x 104 cells/agar sphere. In the test of TEP-colonizing bacteria showed that Zoogloea sp was able to colonize  the TEP i.e. 2.5 x 108 cells/mL. after 4 days incubation. It can be concluded that Zoogloea sp isolated from shrimp pond farming has a high potential in colonizing particles.

Abstract

Abstract. The growth rate of Hermetia illucens larvae in the bioconversion of organic waste is influenced by the media and environmental conditions where the BSF lives. This study aims to determine the effect of the feed formula on the growth of Hermetia illucens larvae in the bioconversion of organic waste. This research method was carried out by rearing BSF larvae, making BSF feed formulas, determining larval length, determining the weight and weight of BSF cassava. The results showed that the feeding formula from fish waste, tapioca waste with a chopped diameter of 10,20,30 mm gave a significant effect on the growth of BSF larvae (larval length, larvae weight) and BSF maggots. The provision of 20 and 30 percent fish waste has a higher weight and length with a chopped diameter of 20 and 30 mm..Keywords: feed formula, hermetia illucens, bioconversion, organic waste

Abstract

Abstract. UNM Parang Tambung applies the concept of a comfortable and breathaking environment. Various types of trees have grown since the campus was founded, yet several were deliberately planted in open land. Plants have different categories of main benefits, one of the benefits applied here that is the presence of various types of trees and other plants in campus environment. The purpose of the study was to determine the types of trees that grow in UNM Parang Tambung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, this research was carried out by systematically describing data about the characteristics of tree plants in UNM Parang Tambung campus area. The results showed that there were 956 individual trees consisting of 34 species belonging to 20 families. The species are Alstonia scholaris, Araucaria heterophylla, Artocarpus altilis, Artocarpus heterophyllus, Averrhoa bilimbi L, Cocos nucifera, Delonix regia Raf, Dimocarpus longan Lour, Ficus benjamina L, Ficus septica Burm F, Gmelina arborea, Guazoma ulmifolia Lamk, Livistona saribus, Mangifera indica, Mimusops elengi L, Morinda citrifolia L., Moringa oleifera, Muntingia calabura L, Paraserianthes falcataria, Plumeria rubra, Polyalthia longifolia, Pterocarpus indicus Willd, Ptychosperma macarthurii, Roystone regia, Samanea saman, Senna siamea, Spatodea campanulata P.B, Switenia mahagoni, Syzygium aqueum, Syzygium cumini, Tectona grandis, Terminalia catappa, Terminalia mantaly, and Wodyetia bifurcata L.Keywords: unm campus, tree, identification, parang tambung

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of mealworm frass and molasses on the proximate value of white oyster mushrooms. This type of research was an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments with three replications each. Test parameters include water content, ash content, crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber. Proximate data on water content, ash content, crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's follow-up test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that treatment with frass and frass molasses had an effect on water content, ash content, crude protein, crude fat, and a decrease in fiber content. Therefore, it can be concluded that the addition of mealworm frass and molasses affects the proximate value of the resulting oyster mushrooms.Keywords: White Oyster Mushroom, Flour Caterpillar Frass, Molasses, Proximate.
