Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media powtoon untuk meningkatkan minat belajar pada pembelajaran daring siswa kelas IV SDN Kasatriyan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 9 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kondisi awal dimana skor rata-rata minat belajar siswa sebesar 9,44 dengan rata-rata indikator minat 46,76%, kemudian pada siklus I skor rata-rata minat belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 13,78 dengan rata-rata indikator minat 68,89%, dan pada siklus II skor rata-rata minat siswa meningkat menjadi 16,33 dengan rata-rata indikator minat 81,67%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada matematika pada kompetensi materi sudut dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Blended Learning tipe “The Flipped Classroom Blended Learning” yang akan menjadikan peserta didik tampil aktif mandiri mempelajari materi atau bahan ajar dengan memanfaatkan bahan ajar yang tersimpan online. Di dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika pada saat ini di masa pandemi ditemukan masalah seperti peserta didik merasa kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang diajarkan ataupun diberikan guru secara online. Ketidakterlibatan peserta didik dalam praktik menyebabkan miskonsepsi yang berakibat fatal untuk materi selanjutnya, padahal muatan pembelajaran matematika merupakan muatan yang saling berkaitan antara materi yang satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) di SD Negeri Sagan Yogyakarta kelas IV yang diterapkan dalam 2 (dua) siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pengamatan, dan tahap refleksi, dengan teknik pengambilan data kualitatif melalui observasi dan data kuantitatif melalui tes prestasi belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil yang dicapai setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I presentase ketuntasan peserta didik dalam mencapai KKM 75 adalah 75% dengan rata-rata kelas 72,5 Pada siklus II presentase ketuntasan peserta didik dalam mencapai KKM 75 adalah 100% dengan rata-rata kelas 85,6 . Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Blended Learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi “Sudut” kelas IV di SD Negeri Sagan Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The ability of elementary school teacher education students at Yogyakarta State University in compiling learning tools is still low. It is proven from the results of the learning tools that are not in accordance with the writing procedures and characteristics of elementary school students, the content is not appropriate, and the components are not complete. The solution that can be done is to do self-reflection on the learning tools they have arranged. This study aims to improve the ability of teacher students in compiling learning through self-reflection in the Elementary School Science Education course. This research uses the classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were 4th-semester Elementary School Teacher Education students in class C. The data were processed and analyzed descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively. The results showed that the student's ability in preparing science learning tools had an average initial score of 75.43 and increased to 95 after the first cycle was carried out by self-reflection through the instrument. The student's ability increased again after the second cycle was carried out by adding treatment in the form of giving instruments and conducting peer discussions and expert experts. This increase obtained an average score of 98. It was concluded that self-reflection can help students analyze shortcomings and find solutions and make improvements so that they can develop good science learning tools as a provision to become professional teachers

Abstract

Practical E-Guidebook is a facility for practicum activities that contains digital-based instructions and information so that students can carry out practicum activities independently. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for practical science e-guidebooks for UIN Sunan Kalijaga students. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development research model in the analysis stage. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews and questionnaires to determine the analysis of students' needs for the Practical E-Guidebook. The aspects analyzed in this research are analysis of independent practicum activities for elementary science learning, analysis of tools and materials in the laboratory in independent practicum activities for elementary science learning, analysis of media availability in independent practicum activities for elementary science learning, analysis of the benefits of the Practical E-Guidebook for science in practicum activities independent Elementary School Science Learning, analysis of the need for innovation in science practicum learning media. This research found that there was an average percentage of 82% with the majority of students stating that the Practical Science E-Guidebook needed to be developed so that the implementation of independent practical activities for students in elementary science learning courses could run in a structured manner and the preparation of reports could be well structured.

Abstract

Modifying the curriculum is often necessary for autistic children to effectively engage in their learning. Interestingly, a particular learning process was discovered that proved to be effective without any need for modification - specifically, teaching science to an autistic child. This discovery calls for further investigation. This study aims to provide a comprehensive description of the unique traits exhibited by autistic children who excel in learning science without the need for any modifications.  This study utilized the Spradley analysis method, which involves domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and cultural theme analysis. The participants in this study consisted of elementary school students in the 3rd grade who have autism. They were selected using the purposive sampling method. The data collection involved conducting interviews, examining documentation, and studying artifacts. The findings of the study indicate that children with mild autism can effectively learn science without requiring any adjustments, while still receiving necessary accommodations. Tasks can be effectively completed with the support of teachers and the assistance of paraprofessionals. Autistic children demonstrate proficiency in basic science process skills, creativity, and fine motor skills. They also exhibit a positive affect and are able to socialize effectively. Addressing focus and emotional issues involves implementing structured meal plans, providing parents with guidance on educating their children, and fostering strong collaboration with teachers.

Abstract

The learning model used by educators only transmits knowledge and does not provide opportunities for students to interact, causing them to lose time to develop their experience in the collaborative learning process. This research aims to improve collaboration skills by implementing a problem-based learning model in grade IV elementary school. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis McTaggart model. The results of the research are 1) how to improve collaboration skills with a problem-based learning model using stages; a) Provide orientation regarding problems; b) Organize students; c) Assist with investigations; d) present work results; e) Analyze and apply problem-solving processes. 2) Obstacles in improving collaboration skills with learning models are; a) Students are hampered in finding problems; b) the teacher is constrained in encouraging students to investigate learning tasks related to the problem. Efforts made to overcome this problem are by presenting the problem in the form of news, videos, and photos that illustrate the problem. Students are encouraged to investigate solutions by presenting more references on how to solve the problem accompanied by news, videos, and photos of related solutions.

Abstract

Students still experience difficulties developing critical abilities, so students still experience difficulties working in groups, communicating, solving problems, and making decisions as the right solution to a problem. This study aimed to analyze whether the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model, through science learning, affected students' critical thinking skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control design. Methods of data collection using observation and documentation methods using research instruments. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample of this research is 25 students. Based on the hypothesis testing obtained through the t-test calculation with a significant level (a) 0.05 and dk = 25-2 = 23, the value of tcount = 27.98 is obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that t-count > t-table or 27.98 > 2.069, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the hypothesis stating that the problem-based learning method influences the critical thinking skills of class 4H students at Ahmad Dahlan University is accepted as true. It was concluded that the problem-based learning method influenced the critical thinking skills of class 4H students.

Abstract

Pengembangan media dilaksanakan karena kurangnya penggunaan sebuah media pembelajaran interaktif teknologi di dalam proses pembelajaran. Pengembangan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran yang interaktif dengan bantuan teknologi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn), khususnya untuk mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar yang berada di semester 4. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Akan tetapi, dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya mencapai tahap pengembangan (Development) dikarenakan tujuan utamanya adalah menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dinilai baik oleh validator ahli. Validitas media pembelajaran diukur menggunakan lembar penilaian dari para ahli. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk ini telah divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, dengan skor mencapai 88,5%. Skor ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, mengingat bahwa presentase hasil validasi berada dalam rentang 81-100%. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi ini dianggap valid dan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes and the cooperation in science subjects during the 2018/2019 school year by utilizing an outdoor study method. Fourth-graders in SD N 1 Pengasih were used as the subjects in this Classroom Action Class study. The models used were that of Kemmis and McTaggart, which include three stages, namely Planning, Implementation, and Observation, as well as Reflection. Meanwhile, the data retrieval instruments used were Observation sheets, questionnaires, and test questions. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used to analyze the collected data. In action cycles I and II, the number of students who scored in the good or excellent category amounted to 47% and 94%, while the average achievement of indicator cooperation was 69% and 80%. The cognitive learning outcomes of science subjects students to reach the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) were 59% and 82% for action cycles I and II, respectively.
