Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPA. Hal ini didasarkan pada jumlah siswa yang hasil belajarnya dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan sekolah yaitu 75, dari 16 orang siswa 9 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai baik atau diatas KKM, dan 7 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai dibawah KKM. Penelitian ini merupakan tindakan kelas, penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar pada materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia dan Hewan pada Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 005 Langgini TP 2021/2022. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli s.d Agustus 2021, subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 005 Langgini dengan jumlah siswa 16 orang terdiri dari 12 orang siswa laki-laki dan 4 orang siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, teknik dokumentasi dan teknik tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketuntasan sebelum tindakan hanya mencapai 56,25%, siklus I meningkat menjadi 68,75% dan siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 93,75%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan Model Pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia dan Hewan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 005 Langgini Kab Kab Kampar.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low Critical Thinking Ability of students in class V of SDN 001 Bangkinang. One solution to overcome this problem is to use the Talking stick Type Cooperative model. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles consisting of two meetings and four stages, namely implementation planning, observation and reflection. When this research was carried out in October 2024. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN 001 Bangkinang. Consisting of 12 students, there are 5 male students and 7 female students. Data collection methods use observation techniques and documentation techniques. The research results show that using the Talking stick Type Cooperative learning model can improve students' critical thinking abilities. This is shown by the observation results obtained in each cycle I meeting I from 12 students, it is known that the critical thinking skills of students included in the complete category reached 4 people or 34% and cycle I meeting II there were 5 people or 41%. Then in cycle II, meeting I, there were 7 people or 58% who had completed it and in cycle II, meeting II increased to 10 people or 83%. Through the application of the Talking stick Type Cooperative learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of class V students at SDN 001 Bangkinang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low initial reading skills of students. One of the efforts offered to improve students' initial reading skills is to use Pop up book learning media facilities. This study aims to determine the effect of Pop up book- based learning media on the initial reading skills of students in class 1 Salafiyah Ula Ibnu Jarir. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection techniques for this study were in the form of observation, tests, and documentation. The experimental class was class 1 Banat and the control class was class 1 Banin Salafiyah Ula Ibnu Jarir. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis used the t-test formula which was preceded by a normality test and homogeneity of variance. The results of this study indicate that the ability to read beginning using Pop up book media is higher than the ability to read beginning using the conventional model. With the results of the t-test at a significance level of 5%, the sig value (2-tailed) (0.00) <a (0.05) was obtained. This shows that the influence of interactive media based on pop-up books is more effective than conventional learning models. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of pop-up book-based learning media on the initial reading ability of grade 1 Salafiyah Ula Ibnu Jarir students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiusitas dan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku sopan santun siswa MAN Asahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa MAN Asahan berjumlah sembilan ratus lima puluh enam siswa, sedangkan sampel diambil dengan cara proporsional menggunakan rumus Slovin. Adapun jumlah sampel sebanyak seratus delapan orang. Data diambil melalui angket dalam bentuk Skala Likert dengan alternative jawaban satu sampai lima. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi ganda. Variabel religiusitas memperoleh total skor sebesar empat belas ribu enam ratus lima puluh satu, dengan skor tertinggi seratus lima puluh dan skor terendah seratus sebelas, range tiga puluh sembilan, variasi lima puluh tujuh ribu tig puluh dua, rata-rata seratus tiga puluh enam koma sembilan puluh tiga, median seratus tiga puluh delapan koma nol nol, mode seratus tiga puluh sembilan, dan standar deviasi tujuh ribu lima ratus lima puluh dua. Variabel dukungan sosial diperoleh total skor sebesar tiga belas ribu empat ratus dua puluh tujuh, dengan skor tertinggi dua ratus dan skor terendah seratus tiga puluh sembilan, range enam puluh satu, variasi seratus delapan puluh sembilan koma tujuh ratus delapan puluh satu, rata-rata seratus tujuh puluh dua koma dua puluh satu, median seratus tujuh puluh dua koma nol nol, dan standar deviasi tiga belas ribu tujuh ratus empat puluh empat. Sedangkan untuk variable perilaku sopan santun diperoleh skor total sebesar enam belas ribu tujuh puluh tujuh, dengan skor tertinggi seratus tujuh puluh enam, skor terendah seratus sebelas, range enam puluh lima, variasi dua ratus tiga koma enam ratus delapan puluh satu, rata-rata seratus lima puluh koma dua puluh lima, median seratus lima puluh koma nol nol, mode seratus empat puluh empat, dan standar deviasi empat belas ribu dua ratus tujuh puluh dua. Ada hubungan antara religiusitas dengan perilaku sopan santun dengan koefisien sebesar nol koma tiga ratus tujuh puluh sembilan pada signifikansi nol koma nol nol nol. Ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan perilaku sopan santun dengan koefisien sebesar nol koma empat ratus tiga puluh tiga pada signifikansi nol koma nol nol nol. Ada hubungan religiusitas dan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku sopan santun sebesar nol koma lima ratus dua puluh dua dengan signifikansi nol koma nol nol nol.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS di UPT SDN 012 Salo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design atau desain satu kelompok dengan pretest dan posttest. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V dengan jumlah 11 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji paired sample t-test untuk variabel keaktifan diperoleh (Sig) 0,000. Variabel hasil belajar siswa dengan hasil uji pada paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai Sig 0,000. Berdasarkan uji paired t-test dan regresi linier sederhana, peneliti menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara pretest dan posttest. Penerapan media audio visual memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual pada mata pelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan alasan nilai probabilitas yang mempunyai nilai (Sig.) 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how video learning media affects students' interest and critical thinking abilities in class VIII Social Sciences learning at SMPN 2 Bantan. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving two classes: an experimental class using learning videos and a control class using image media. The research instruments are a questionnaire about interest in learning and critical thinking tests via a pretest and a posttest. The population in this study refers to all research subjects, namely 60 eighth-grade students of SMPN 2 Bantan. The sampling technique used was total sampling. This means that all populations were sampled. Primary data were obtained through direct observation of students during the learning process using video learning media and questionnaires that focused on learning interests. Secondary data will be obtained through literature, previous research, or other information sources relevant to the use of video learning media in social studies learning, learning interests, and critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique in this study includes several important steps to dig up relevant information and support research findings. The results showed a significant increase in students' interest in learning and critical thinking abilities in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average learning interest of experimental class students increased from 64.45 to 79.87, and critical thinking ability rose from 62.83 to 75.03. Meanwhile, the increase in the control class was not as substantial as the experimental class. These findings indicate that learning video media effectively increases student engagement and encourages the development of critical thinking skills. Video media can be a strategic alternative for more interactive and meaningful learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence: 1) curiosity on students' science literacy, 2) learning independence on students' science literacy, 3) curiosity and learning independence together on students' science literacy at SMPN 1 Burung Island, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, with a descriptive inferential method, namely to test the influence of independent variables on bound variables. The sample used purposive sampling as many as 90 out of 225 students. The results of the study were obtained: 1) there was a significant influence of curiosity on science literacy, where the value of Sig. ,000 < 0.05 and the value of Thitung = 5.911 > 1.987; 2) there was a significant influence of learning independence on science literacy, where the value of Sig. ,000 < 0.05 and the value of Thitung = 4.813 > 1.987 were obtained; 3) there was an influence of curiosity and independence together on science literacy. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. ,000 < 0.05 and the value of Fcal = 74.167 > 3.10. Thus, it can be concluded that: 1) curiosity has a significant effect on science literacy; 2) learning independence has a significant effect on science literacy, 3) curiosity and learning independence together have a significant effect on students' science literacy. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh: 1) rasa ingin tahu terhadap literasi sains siswa, 2) kemandirian belajar terhadap literasi sains siswa, 3) rasa ingin tahu dan kemandirian belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap literasi sains siswa di SMPN 1 Pulau Burung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Riau. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan metode inferensial deskriptif yaitu untuk menguji pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 90 dari 225 siswa. Hasil Penelitian diperoleh: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan rasa ingin tahu terhadap literasi sains, dimana diperoleh nilai Sig. ,000 < 0,05 dan nilai Thitung = 5,911 > 1,987; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap literasi sains, dimana diperoleh nilai nilai Sig. ,000 < 0,05 dan nilai Thitung = 4,813 > 1,987; 3) terdapat pengaruh rasa ingin tahu dan kemandirian secara bersama-sama terhadap literasi sains. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig. ,000 < 0,05 dan nilai Fhitung = 74,167 > 3,10. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) rasa ingin tahu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi sains; 2) kemandirian belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi sains, 3) rasa ingin tahu dan kemandirian belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi sains siswa.

Abstract

Riset ini dilatarbelakangi oleh budaya siswa suku Akit di sekolah dasar negeri yang menurut periset masih bisa dipertahankan dan relevan dengan kehidupan keseharian saat ini. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh kepala sekolah terhadap budaya siswa suku Akit di sekolah dasar negeri tujuh belas Kundur. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Hasil riset ini menunjukan bahwa kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap budaya siswa suku Akit di sekolah dasar negeri tujuh belas Kundur. Budaya siswa suku Akit yang masih bisa dipertahankan yaitu budaya siswa yang semakin lama semakin peduli terhadap pendidikan dasar. Semangat tersebut harus disikapi oleh guru agar mereka terus termotivasi untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan dasarnya di sekolah. Peran masyarakat dan orang tua harus terus dipertahankan agar siswa-siswa suku Akit semakin maju dan melek huruf. Periset berikutnya bisa menerapkan metode lain agar budaya siswa suku Akit semakin berkembang terutama pada hal cara berpikirnya.
