Abstract

Starting in 2021, a National Assessment will be held in Indonesia, one of which is the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). The Minimum Competency Assessment is implemented based on the results of the 2018 PISA study, which shows that the ability of Indonesian students in reading, mathematics, and science is still below average. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the National Assessment program and its implementation in elementary schools. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative research where the data is taken from interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The research subjects were principals, classroom teachers, and elementary school students in Tasikmalaya City. From the results of the analysis, it was found that there was still a lack of school readiness, especially in the availability of infrastructure and the absence of school programs in facing the National Assessment. Therefore, an analysis is necessary as a basis to formulate a sustainable program in facing the National Assessment.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan abad 21 yang harus diajarkan guru kepada peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Latar belakang penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah peserta didik yang sulit memahami materi teks cerita fiksi serta untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran komik digital sebagai inovasi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu mengimplementasikan secara langsung prosedur Analyze, Designe, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation.Subjek dalam penelitian ini berupa produk media komik digital materi cerita fiksi. Metode dan instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan  rating scale berupa lembar penilaian yang diberikan kepada 1 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli media, 1 orang praktisi dan 30 orang siswa kelas IV SD untuk mengetahui validitas media komik digital. Media komik digital vaid dengan : (a) hasil review ahli materi menunjukkan produk berpredikat sangat baik (92%), (b) hasil review ahli media komik digital berpredikat sangat baik (92%), (c) hasil review pengguna menunjukkan komik digital berpredikat sangat baik(98%). Ini berarti media komik digital valid secara isi dan layak digunakan sebagai media dan sumber belajar, sehingga menjadi solusi meminimalisir hambatan proses pembelajaran yang kurang optimal karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran dan sumber belajar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the urgency of emotional literacy teaching materials for elementary school students. One of the efforts that can be done is to cultivate emotional literacy through fictional texts or children's literature in the form of children's story books. There are a number of studies on children's stories containing emotional literacy. However, the response of students to children's story books containing emotional literacy is still limited. Therefore, this  purpose study aims to describe the responses of elementary school students to children's story books containing emotional literacy. This research is part of the Educational Design Research (EDR) research model. Data collection techniques used, namely distributing questionnaires to 13 students and studying literature. The results showed that the students' responses to children's story books containing emotional literacy were included in the good category because they met five indicators of reading interest, namely meeting the reading needs of children's stories containing emotional literacy; according to the interests of students; feelings of pleasure that arise in students after reading story books containing emotional literacy; acknowledge interest in reading children's stories containing emotional literacy; and the spirit of reading and following up the values obtained from reading into life. Thus, it can be concluded that children's story books containing emotional literacy were responded well by students while providing a good emotional literacy experience. The implication is that it requires exploration of response-oriented strategies and techniques in learning or non-learning that empowers children's story books with emotional literacy

Abstract

The purpose of this study is one of the important components in the process of teaching and learning activities. In the current new normal era, teachers are required to make changes from conventional learning to digital learning. However, the reality on the ground shows that teachers are not prepared to learn media according to the needs of students. The learning media used by the teacher is still in the form of images and text only. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in making learning media that can meet all the needs of students. This study aims to improve the quality of learning and student participation, and develop interactive PowerPoint media that is suitable for use by elementary school students. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (RD) with the DDD-E development model (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate). Data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research was conducted in four elementary schools. The subjects of this study amounted to 84 students of class II on the sub-theme of Caring for Animals Around Me. The research data shows that the percentage of the feasibility level of interactive PowerPoint media according to subject matter experts is 100%, according to learning design experts is 92%, and according to user trial results is 96% with very good qualifications, and according to learning media experts, it is 85% with good qualifications. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that interactive PowerPoint media is appropriate to be used in the learning process for grade II elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi atas pentingnya adaptasi pembelajaran pada masa pandemi covid-19 dan perlunya integrasi teknologi serta penguatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar. Salah satu desain model pembelajaran yang relevan adalah model ASSURE berbasis pendekatan multi-dimensional SPUR. Pengembangan model ASSURE diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dan perspektif baru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan melibatkan penggunaan teknologi yang semakin berkembang. Selain itu, pendekatan multi-dimensional SPUR dapat mendorong atmosfer pelaksanaan maupun evaluasi pembelajaran yang berbasis kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan desain pembelajaran ASSURE Model; (2) mendeskripsikan implementasi desain pembelajaran ASSURE Model; (3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap desain pembelajaran model ASSURE berbasis pendekatan multi-dimensional SPUR; dan (4) mengetahui respon guru terhadap desain pembelajaran model ASSURE berbasis pendekatan multi-dimensional SPUR. Jenis penelitian ini adalah design based research dengan model Mc Kenney & Reeves. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas V di salah satu sekolah dasar yang berlokasi di Kota Tasikmalaya dan Kabupaten Ciamis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu waw ancara, kuesioner, dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara, lembar kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan lembar catatan lapangan. Penelitian ini melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, guru, dan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar berbasis ASSURE Model pada pembelajaran pecahan di kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The concept of self-literacy can be interpreted as self-literacy. This understanding of self-literacy needs to be cultivated at the right time, especially at the elementary school level. For this reason, this training activity aims to make teachers in Tasikmalaya understand self-literacy and can implement the P-IKADKA model as a learning model for literary appreciation in the classroom oriented to self-literacy affirmations. The achievement of these goals is carried out through training activities with lecture methods, discussions, and guided exercises. The results of the training show that teachers can understand self-literacy and can apply the P-IKADKA model design well. This activity is able to provide new insights and experiences to teachers in implementing the concept of self-literacy and is able to improve the ability of teachers to carry out story appreciation learning, especially those oriented to self-literacy affirmations. After the teachers gain insight and experience, it is hoped that they will be able to implement it in learning at school so that it has an impact on elementary school students who have awareness about themselves, understand themselves and respect themselves and others..Keywords: literacy, self-literacy, literary appreciation, P-IKADKA model

Abstract

Media pembelajaran membatu siswa memahami materi dengan mudah. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi, maka semakin berkembang media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang memudahkan guru untuk menyampaikan informasi atau materi kepada siswa. Kurangnya pemahaman siswa dikaremakan dengan bahan yang kurang bervariasi dan tidak didukung oleh media pembelajaran dan permasalahan guru dalam pembelajaran siklus hidup hewan yang kesulitan menggambarkan proses terjadi siklus hidup pada hewan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK yaitu Video Story Tellingtentang siklus hidup hewan. sebagai guru alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran siklus hidup hewan, sehingga siswa dapat memahami langsung bagaimana proses terjadinya siklus hidup hewan dengan mudah dan menarik. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Adapun dalam mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran TIK ini menggunakan jenis model ADDIE yang mencakup lima langkah yaitu: tahapan analisis ( analysis), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation) dan evaluasi (evaluation ).). Sasaran uji coba produk yaitu siswa kelas IV SD. Subjek penilaian produk terdiri atas satu ahli yaitu guru sebagai ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terkembangnya media pembelajaran TIK berbasis video story telling melalui Canva pada pembelajaran Siklus hidup hewan Kelas IV SD. Dari hasil validasi implementasi, media pembelajaran TIK berbasis video story telling pada pembelajaran siklus hidup hewan Kelas IV SD diperoleh hasil yang layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Adobe Flash learning media product based on CAI in Natural Sciences (IPA) subject matter of sound reflection. Science learning media available at this time are less interactive, less able to attract the attention of students so it is necessary to develop learning media because learning media has a very important role in the learning process, especially to attract attention and increase student interest and can assist teachers in conveying material to students to make it easier to understand. These problems can be overcome by developing CAI-based Adobe Flash learning media. The method used in this study is the ADDIE development method with five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection technique used is by interviewing and validating the material experts and media experts. The results of the validation show that the score obtained from the material expert is 86%, while the media expert gives a score of 97.5% so that this media is included in the criteria of being suitable for use without revision to support science learning in elementary schools on sound reflection material. The response of teachers and students to the Adobe Flash learning media is very good and positive, which means that this media is able to help students to better understand sound reflection material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Jelajah Sistem Pencernaan (JESIP) pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek dari  penelitian adalah  tiga orang ahli dan enam siswa sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan angket dan skala. Statistik deskriptif digunakan dalam menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian akumulasi rata-rata uji ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa yang termasuk ke dalam kategori Sangat Baik dengan rata-rata perolehan nilai sebesar 90.67%. Media Media Jelajah Sistem Pencernaan Pada Manusia  (JESIP) sangat diminati oleh siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Kategori Sangat Baik dari hasil penilaian one to one dan hasil penilaian small group memiliki rata-rata perolehan nilai sebesar 87,5% termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Dari ketiga penilaian tersebut terbukti bahwa media  Media Jelajah Sistem Pencernaan Pada Manusia  (JESIP) berbasis android yang peneliti kembangkan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA pada materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the use of digital technology in learning mathematics in schools has not been optimal. The purpose of this research is to improve mathematics learning outcomes by utilizing technology through the MathCityMap application in teaching geometry in elementary schools. Methods This research uses classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles The subject was a population of 68 grade five students in an elementary school in West Java, using descriptive statistics. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, tests, and, documentation studies. The results of this study indicate an increase in mathematics learning outcomes. In pre-cycle 58.05, it increased in cycle 1 to 72.03 and increased again in cycle 2 to 89.60.The results of observations show that the use of digital technology has the potential to support teachers in facilitating the teaching and learning process of mathematics outdoors so that students gain direct mathematical experience and deal with the real world. Based on these results, MathCityMap is proven to be able to improve mathematics learning outcomes for elementary school students, especially in teaching geometry.
