Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the effect of experiential marketing, emotional value, and cost value on customer loyalty at Kopi Se-Indonesia Surabaya. The study used a quantitative cross-sectional method, with data collected through an online survey distributed to 160 customers who had made at least two purchases within the past year. The relationships between variables were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS 4. The results show that experiential marketing has a significant positive effect on both emotional value and cost value. This suggests that the experiences customers have at the coffee shop contribute to how they perceive the value they receive. In addition, emotional value and cost value were found to significantly influence customer loyalty. Customers who feel comfortable, enjoy the atmosphere, and perceive the price as reasonable compared to the benefits received tend to show stronger loyalty toward the brand. These results highlight the importance of creating a positive in-store experience, including a comfortable environment and good interaction between staff and customers. This research enriches the literature on experiential marketing, emotional value, and cost value in the coffee shop industry, particularly among young consumers. Practically, the findings suggest that coffee shop businesses should focus on maintaining consistent customer experiences while ensuring that price, product quality, and service remain aligned to encourage long-term customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of risk management and knowledge sharing on supervisory effectiveness at PT Ungaran Sari Garment III, Pringapus 7 Unit. A quantitative approach was applied using data collected from 100 employees selected through a structured sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with a significance level of 5 percent. The findings show that risk management has a positive and significant effect on supervisory effectiveness, indicating that well-implemented risk identification, assessment, and control procedures support more effective supervision. Knowledge sharing also demonstrates a positive and significant influence, suggesting that the exchange of experience, skills, and work-related information among employees contributes to better coordination and monitoring processes. Simultaneously, both variables strengthen supervisory effectiveness, as reflected in the coefficient of determination (R²) of 51.9 percent, while the remaining variance is explained by other factors not examined in this study. These results are consistent with enterprise risk management and knowledge management perspectives, which emphasize alignment between organizational systems and employee interaction in achieving effective supervision.

Abstract

Background – The rise of online check-in applications, like 'Book cabin' by Lion Air Group, highlights the need for secure and useful features to build trust and drive reuse intention. Understanding these factors is essential for enhancing user adoption and satisfaction. Aim – This research aims to analyze the influence of trust as a mediating variable of perceived security and perceived usefulness on interest in reusing Book cabin as an online check-in application at the Lion Air Group. Design / methodology / approach – The population in this research were users of the Book cabin application with a sample of 200 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form. The data processing method in this study uses Smart-PLS which is used to test the hypothesis. Findings – The findings indicate that perceived security, perceived usefulness, and trust each have a significant positive impact on the intention to reuse the Book cabin application. Additionally, trust serves as an important mediator, strengthening the relationship between perceived security, perceived usefulness, and reuse intention. Research implication – This study contributes to the marketing fields and existing literature by examining the influence of perceived security and perceived usefulness on the intention to reuse an online check-in application. It advances previous research by exploring trust as a mediating factor, providing a deeper understanding of how trust can bridge user perceptions and behavioral intentions in digital travel services. Limitations – This study has several limitations, including the use of cross-sectional data that does not capture long-term behavioral changes and a focus on perceived security and usefulness without considering other factors like perceived ease of use, or e-WOM. Additionally, the sample is limited to users of the Book Cabin application, particularly those from the Lion Air Group. Future research should adopt a longitudinal approach, and expand the sample scope to achieve more comprehensive and generalizable findings.

Abstract

The escalation of growth in the culinary industry in the Surabaya region has triggered a significant intensity of competition, making customer retention a crucial issue, especially in the gastronomic restaurant sector. This study is oriented toward examining the impact of gastronomy experience, service quality, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Through a quantitative approach, a purposive sampling technique was applied to involve 180 participants as the research sample. Data collection was conducted using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, which was then analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The research findings demonstrate that customer satisfaction is positively and significantly influenced by gastronomy experience and service quality. In the context of this study, service quality has a stronger influence compared to gastronomy experience. Furthermore, a positive and significant effect was also found in the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that, based on the perspective of Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) Theory in the gastronomic restaurant ecosystem, the formation of customer loyalty is projected to be more dominantly driven through the stimulation of service quality and the perception of customer satisfaction.
