Abstract

This study aims to describe students' skills in using computers and identify factors that support and hinder the implementation of ICT learning at Bina Nusa Elementary School in Tangerang Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study examined and validated the data through credibility tests consisting of extended observation, triangulation, peer discussion, transferability tests, dependency tests, and certainty tests. The results showed that fifth-grade students had basic computer skills, such as operating hardware, managing files, and using Microsoft PowerPoint in learning activities. Factors supporting ICT learning included the availability of computer labs, teacher support, and student motivation. Meanwhile, the obstacles found include limited learning time, differences in individual abilities, and technical problems with computer devices. Overall, ICT learning at Bina Nusa Elementary School has been running well and has contributed to improving the digital skills of elementary school students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan metode edutainment dalampembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial di SD Negeri Margasana 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan metode edutainment terbukti berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan partisipasi siswa yang lebih aktif, semangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran, serta pemahaman materi yang lebih mendalam. Dalam perencanaan, guru telah mengadaptasi metode edutainment dengan baik, menyusun RPP yang menekankan pada interaktivitas, kreativitas, serta pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Pelaksanaan metode ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan komunikatif dan persuasif, di mana guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang membimbing siswa dalam proses belajar. Evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh guru juga melibatkan berbagai bentuk penilaian seperti tes formatif, tugas proyek, dan observasi partisipasi siswa, yang memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai perkembangan siswa. Penerapan metode ini tidak hanya mendukung aspek akademis, tetapi juga perkembangan keterampilan sosial dan keterampilan lainnya, seperti kerja sama tim, kemampuan komunikasi, dan kreativitas. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi, terutama dalam hal pengadaan fasilitas dan media pembelajaran yang lebih mendukung implementasi metode edutainment secara maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of pencak silat extracurricular activities in strengthening discipline character education at Persatuan Islam Elementary School, Serang. The research is based on the importance of developing students discipline through meaningful and culturally rooted activities. Pencak silat, as a traditional Indonesian martial art, contains values of discipline, responsibility, and respect that align with character education goals. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation with principals, teachers, instructors, and students as data sources. The data were analyzed through Miles and Hubermans interactive model, including data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the pencak silat program is implemented through structured stages of planning, execution, and evaluation. Discipline values are fostered through punctuality, obedience to rules, and mutual respect among participants. Constraints such as limited facilities and students understanding are addressed through exemplary behavior and educational guidance from teachers and coaches. Overall, pencak silat extracurricular activities significantly contribute to strengthening students discipline character while promoting the preservation of local culture within the elementary education context.
