Abstract

This research aims to develop and analyze pop-up book learning media on the cultural charm of Banten province, as well as to determine student responses in using pop-up book media in learning activities in class IV at SDN Banjarsari 2 Serang, which is carried out from May 2023 to by December 2023. This research uses the 4D method with the stages of defining, designing, developing and disseminating, and uses a research sample of 20 class IV students at SDN Banjarsari 2, Serang City. . This pop up book learning media on the cultural charm of Banten province received an average expert assessment of 84.3% in the "Very Suitable" category, and an average student response assessment of 91.8% in the "Very Good" category. . Based on the results of this assessment, it can be said that the pop up book media material on the cultural charm of Banten province is very suitable for use as learning media in class IV elementary schools.

Abstract

The quality of learning can be seen from a teacher being able to understand and apply the competencies that should be mastered by teaching staff. As science and technology develop, teachers are required to be able to develop computer competencies and skills, the use of information and communication technology, one of which is skills in creating learning media. Using media can also help students not get bored in learning and can involve students in learning activities in class. During the learning process teachers only use conventional media such as theme books and media in the form of images, therefore a variety of learning media is needed. This research aims to determine the development and feasibility of video media using the Camtasia application for material on types of thematic learning work for class IV elementary schools. Researchers used the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D (Four-D) model define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research results that show the feasibility of developing video media are based on the assessment of media experts and material experts. The assessment results from the two media expert validators received a score of 89%, including the "Very Eligible" criteria. The material validation results obtained a score of 88%, including the "Very Eligible" criteria. Then students were asked to respond to the media used in the learning process to get a score of 90.6% in the "Very Good" category. Based on the results above, the learning video media using the Camtasia application on materials on types of thematic learning work for class IV elementary schools is categorized as suitable for use as a learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problem solving ability of learners using Problem Based Learning model (PBL) with learners using Direct learning model. The type of research used is quasi experiments in the form of non equivalent control group design, sampling is done by using purposive sampling technique. The selected sample is the IVA class as the treated experimental class and IVB as the untreated control class. Based on pretest data processing, the mean value of experimental class students is 29.5 while control class is 23.5. After learning, both classes are given posttest. Based on the data processing posttest obtained average results of problem solving ability of learners on subjects IPS experimental class of 69 while the control class 42.25 from the results of the difference test average. To test the hypothesis used inferential test. Based on the results of right-side test obtained t-count = 7.10 and t-table = 1.674. The result of this research can be concluded that the problem solving ability of students in IPS subject using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is better than students using Direct Learning Model

Abstract

Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang menerapkan proyek berbagai sarana pembelajaran untuk mencapai kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Pendalaman pembelajaran terletak pada kegiatan siswa - siswi untuk menyelesaikan masalah dengan pendalaman keterampilan menyimak, menelaah, membuat sampai menyajikan hasil pembelajaran berdasarkan pengalaman yang nyata. Strategi ini memperkanankan peserta didik hendak berkerja secara sendiri maupun kelompok dalam mengkonstruksikan hasil autentik yang bersumber dari masalah yang nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, riset ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui selisih kecakapan berpikir kritis antara murid yang menerima model project based learning oleh siswa yang menerima model pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran IPS SD. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi ekperimen. Sampel dalam riset ini adalah siswa kelas IV B dan IV C SDN 13 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang masing-masing berjumlah 35 dan 35 siswa-siswi kelas IV B sebagai kelompok kontrol dan IV C sebagai kelompok ekperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam riset ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrument riset yang dipakai adalah pertanyaan uraian untuk pretes dan posttes. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis perbandingan dua rata-rata didapatkan bahwa, thitung sebesar 5,43 dan ttabel 1,995. Mengacu pada ketentuan pengambilan keputusan uji hipotesis hasil perbandingan 1,995 < 5,43 > 1,995 (-ttabel< thitung >ttabel), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha. hal tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa ada perbedaan kecakapan berpikir kritis siswa yang mendapatkan model project based learning (PJBL) dengan peserta didik yang mendapatkan model pembelajarn konvenssional Pada pembelajaran IPS. Hasil uji hipotesis pihak kanan postes menunjukkan bahwa, thitung sebesar 5,43 ttabel 1,672. Mengacu pada ketentuan pengambilan keputusan uji hipotesis hasil perbanding 1,672 < 5,43 > 1,672 (-ttabel< thitung >ttabel), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kecakapan berpikir kritis siswa-siswi yang menerima model project based learning (PJBL) lebih tinggi daripada peserta yang menerima model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi IPS.

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to improve the learning activities and learning outcomes of students in sixth grade elementary school (SD) of Singapadu especially in social studies (IPS) using Problem Based Learning model application. Based on the results of the study, the researchers can sum up that using Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning activities in social studies (IPS) learning. This can be seen from the first cycle studies reached 70%, and the second cycle students' activity reached 90%. The use of Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies (IPS) learning. This can be seen from the results of the first cycle studies reached 69% or 16 students who passed succesfully, and the second cycle students' understanding and learning attitude increased to 91% or 21 students who passed succesfully.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN Cilenggang 2 dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN Cilenggang 2 Tahun pela-jaran 2021/2022. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposinve sampling dengan kelas IV C dipilih menjadi sampel. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deksriptif, analisis korelasi sederhana, dan analisis koefisien de-terminasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi seder-hana terdapat pengaruh yang rendah antara pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap hasil bela-jar siswa, yaitu sebesar 0,30. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis koefisiensi determinan pengaruh yang ditimbulkan sebesar 9,10%.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the procces of strengthening the character of confidience in students through the method of question and answer discussion. The data collection process in this study is focused on 1) teacher planning before carrying out learning activities 2) the process of implementing learning activities 3) discussion learning evaluation activities in the process of strengthening confident character in students through question and answer discussion methods. In the process of developing a confident charcter in student many challenges faced given the difficulty of strengthening this confident character then the involvement of various parties such as parents is mandatory that spend a lot of time with students. But students also need to be given a special character education that should be obtained in the school environment through regular learning activities. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method that is a research method that aims to describe phenomena that occur objectively. The results show holistically that learning activities through this question and answer discussion method provide good benefits for school and students, especially because this question and answer method is able to provide stimulus so that students can be more confident, able to communicate, can work together, tolerate each other, like to read and share various other, like to read and share various other characters.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the teacher's efforts, challenges, and impact of implementing the Pancasia Student Profile dimension of faith and devotion to God Almighty. The method used is qualitative descriptive. This research was conducted at SDN Kubang Sepat 1 Cilegon City with research subjects namely teachers, school principals and class II students. Data collection using interview, observation and documentation techniques. To analyze the data using data reduction, then presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results found from this research are that teachers have made optimal efforts to implement the Pancasia Student Profile dimension of having faith in being devoted to God Almighty and having noble morals, starting from planning by making learning designs, implementing learning in the form of learning activities that are linked to the dimensions of having faith in being devoted to God Almighty and having good morals. noble, up to learning evaluations in the form of student evaluations and teacher reflections. The challenge faced by teachers is that there are still students who chat during learning activities. Students are also able to display attitudes that are in accordance with the elements in this dimension, namely elements of religious morals during prayer activities, tadarus, and reading Asmaul Husna. The personal element is wearing a uniform according to the regulations, the moral element towards humans which is visible when sharing with each other, the moral element towards nature when throwing away rubbish, and the national element in the form of respecting each other's differences.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the literacy culture program as a strategy to foster reading skills among students at SDN Tanjung Barat 04 Pagi. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources for this study were the class IA teacher, class IB teacher, and students from classes IA and IB. The results of the study indicate that the literacy culture program at SDN Tanjung Barat 04 Pagi is based on the School Literacy Movement guidelines through socialization organized by the Education Department. The implementation process of the literacy culture is aligned with the GLS program, and there are three stages: the first stage is habituation, the second stage is development, and the third stage is learning. Teachers are able to integrate literacy learning through teaching activities and utilize learning media as a literacy tool. Supporting factors for the literacy culture include the school principal's policy in actively implementing the School Literacy Movement within the school environment, as well as educators who are able to optimize literacy facilities and infrastructure. On the other hand, inconsistencies among teachers have become an obstacle faced by the school, along with the lack of professional English language teachers due to staff mutations. The outcome of implementing the literacy culture within the school environment has resulted in students developing reading skills, making them accustomed to reading activities. Students are able to understand the sentences they read, retell them in their own words, and contribute to a literacy-rich school environment. However, there are still some students in classes IA and IB who are unable to read, prompting teachers to provide additional teaching to improve the students' reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the full-day school program at SDIT Al Izzah 2. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the planning of the full-day school program at SDIT Al Izzah 2 began with the preparation of the academic calendar, classroom administration, provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the development of religious habituation and self-development programs, which were carried out through extracurricular activities. The implementation of the full-day school program ran well and in a conducive manner, where students participated in classroom learning, religious habituation programs, and self-development programs through extracurricular activities. The supporting factors for the implementation of the full-day school program included a conducive environment and collaboration between parents and teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors were an unconducive environment and differing perceptions between parents and teachers.
