Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan dan mengembangkan kelayakan Media Video Pembelajaran Moodboard Digital Busana Pesta bagi siswa kelas XI Tata Busana SMK Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek. Latar belakang utama penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa (70% dan 55% siswa tidak tuntas) yang disebabkan oleh proses pembuatan moodboard yang masih manual dan terbatasnya keterampilan siswa dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi desain digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop), di mana data dikumpulkan melalui angket (kuesioner) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan skala Likert untuk mengukur validitas dan praktikalitas. Temuan utama menunjukkan kualitas media yang sangat baik: hasil uji validitas media mencapai 92 % dan validitas materi 88 %, keduanya dalam kategori Sangat Valid. Tingkat praktikalitas media juga sangat tinggi berdasarkan respon guru (94,5%) dan siswa (rata-rata 91,4% dan 88%), dengan kategori Sangat Praktis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Media Video Pembelajaran Moodboard Digital Busana Pesta terbukti sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan sebagai sumber belajar yang inovatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pembelajaranmendesain batik di SMKN 1 Lubuk Sikaping masih bersifatkonvensional. Guru menyampaikan materi melalui penjelasanlisan dan contoh visual statis tanpa dukungan media interaktif.Selain itu, siswa sebenarnya telah memiliki perangkat digital seperti smartphone Android, tetapi belum dimanfaatkan secaraoptimal dalam proses belajar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran“Mendesain Motif Batik dengan Aplikasi IbisPaint X” sebagaisarana pembelajaran digital yang interaktif dan relevan dengankebutuhan siswa jurusan Busana di SMK. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Tahap analisis dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan guru serta siswa untuk mengidentifikasikebutuhan media pembelajaran. Tahap desain dan pengembanganmencakup penyusunan naskah, pembuatan storyboard, sertaproduksi video pembelajaran yang berisi pengenalan aplikasiIbisPaint X, teori dasar batik, dan praktik mendesain motif flora dan fauna secara digital. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh ahli materidan ahli media, sedangkan uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata 89,5 % (sangat valid), sedangkan ahli media sebesar 90% (sangat valid). Uji praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh hasil 94,64% (sangat praktis), dan oleh siswa sebesar 83,72% (sangat praktis). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media video pembelajaran inidinyatakan layak dan praktis digunakan. Media video berbasisaplikasi IbisPaint X ini membantu siswa memahami langkah-langkah mendesain motif batik digital, meningkatkan motivasibelajar, serta mendorong kreativitas dalam pembelajaran desainbusana.

Abstract

AbstrakPakaian saat ini  bukan hanya menjadi kebutuhan pokok manusia, melainkan telah menjadi bagian fashion yang mengalami perubahan sangat pesat. Hal inilah yang mendasari banyaknya usaha busana atau usaha produktif yang dimiliki perorangan, Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) yang ada di Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota dengan ciri khasnya masing-masing. Masyarakat di nagari Lubuak Batingkok banyak yang berusaha dibidang fashion perorangan, salah satunya menerima jahitan  (modiste). Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan usaha perorangan tentang  (1) pengetahuan para penjahit (pengusaha modiste) dalam mendesain dan teknik menjahit, (2) meningkatkan keterampilan dibidang menjahit baju kurung basiba dan busana muslimah sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen, (3) melatih dan melakukan pendampingan para pengusaha modiste agar lebih terampil  dalam memproduksi busana sesuai pesanan konsumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah analisis keterampilan SDM dibidang modiste, menyusun program, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari PKM ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mitra dalam beberapa aspek, antara lain meningkatnya pemahaman peserta mengenai desain dan teknik menjahit, ketepatan pembuatan pola, serta kerapian hasil jahitan. Indikator keberhasilan program terlihat dari (1) meningkatnya keterampilan peserta dalam pembuatan baju kurung basiba sesuai standar teknik, (2) kemampuan peserta menghasilkan karya busana secara mandiri, (3) keaktifan peserta selama pelatihan, dan (4) tersusunnya rencana tindak lanjut berupa pendampingan usaha modiste di nagari tersebut. Secara keseluruhan, program ini memberikan solusi nyata bagi permasalahan mitra dan berkontribusi pada upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Nagari Lubuak Batingkok. Kata kunci: pelatihan; pendampingan; keterampilan SDM. AbstractClothing today is not only a basic human necessity but has also become an integral part of the fashion industry, which is experiencing rapid transformation. This development has encouraged the emergence of numerous fashion-related businesses and productive enterprises owned by individuals and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Limapuluh Kota Regency, each with its own distinctive characteristics. Many residents of Nagari Lubuak Batingkok are engaged in individual fashion enterprises, including tailoring services (modiste). This Community Partnership Program (PKM) was implemented to strengthen individual businesses by: (1) enhancing the knowledge of tailors (modiste entrepreneurs) in fashion design and sewing techniques, (2) improving their skills in producing baju kurung basiba and Muslim fashion in accordance with consumer needs, and (3) providing training and mentoring to increase their proficiency in producing garments based on customer orders. The methods used in this program included assessing human resource skills in the modiste sector, developing an appropriate training program, conducting training activities, and performing evaluations. The results of this PKM indicate an improvement in the partners’ abilities across several aspects, including increased understanding of fashion design and sewing techniques, greater accuracy in pattern making, and enhanced neatness in the final products. Indicators of program success include: (1) improved participant skills in producing baju kurung basiba that meet technical standards, (2) the ability of participants to produce garments independently, (3) active engagement during the training sessions, and (4) the development of a follow-up plan for continued mentoring of modiste businesses in the nagari. Overall, this program provides practical solutions to the partners’ challenges and contributes to efforts to improve the welfare of the community in Nagari Lubuak Batingkok. Keywords: training; mentoring; human resource skills.

Abstract

The Mentawai community still have a strong culture and holds a profound reverence for their heritage, particularly in the realm of traditional medicine. They continue to place significant value on traditional healing methods alongside modern medical treatments, comprising two distinct complementary healthcare systems. In this modern sophisticated era, the use of traditional medicine in Mongan Poula village has been marginalized or ignored because of the emergence of modern medicine and the entry of health teams in villages, such as doctors and nurses. Modern medicines are widely circulated in villages and even sold to stalls. This research aims to examine the media used in traditional medicine, the process of treatment, and traditional Mentawai medicine that have an impact on local wisdom. This research utilized a qualitative approach and ethnographic research type. The informant selection technique was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis employed an interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study revealed that in accordance with the formulation of the problem, including: Traditional medicine media, Traditional medicine process in Mentawai society, and Mentawai traditional medicine that has an impact on local wisdom. Based on the formulation of the problem, it shows that Sikerei traditional medicine is used to treat sick people.

Abstract

This article discusses the socio-cultural dynamics of the Javanese community in Tanjung Emas District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, in the context of adaptation and acculturation with the Minangkabau community. This study reveals how the Javanese community, as a transmigration population, has succeeded in maintaining ancestral traditions such as kenduri, slametan, and wedding customs, while adopting local cultural elements, such as the use of Minangkabau traditional clothing and the tradition of kenduri adat. This cultural harmony is seen in strong social relations through mutual cooperation, mixed marriages, and cross-cultural interactions. This article also shows the role of Javanese associations in strengthening relations between communities and the younger generation who are able to balance Javanese cultural identity with openness to Minangkabau culture. With an observational approach and in-depth interviews, this article emphasizes the importance of tolerance and openness in creating cultural synergy that enriches the diversity of traditions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Project-Based Learning in teaching traditional Randai dance. The research aims to explore how Project-Based Learning enhances student engagement, collaboration, and cultural expression. A qualitative approach was employed, involving classroom observations, lesson planning analysis, and project evaluation. The findings indicate that PjBL fosters active student participation, effective group collaboration, and the development of creativity, cultural awareness, discipline, and social responsibility. Teachers successfully designed lesson plans, learning objectives, and project frameworks aligned with Project-Based Learning principles, although adjustments in time allocation and media selection were necessary. The study concludes that integrating Project-Based Learning in teaching Randai Kuantan dance strengthens students’ artistic skills and appreciation of local culture, offering a model for culturally responsive and project-oriented learning in vocational education

Abstract

The traditional Mak Yong theater is a rich cultural heritage with distinctive aesthetic and symbolic values; however, its teaching in schools remains limited. This study aims to describe the learning strategies for teaching Mak Yong theater within the Cultural Arts curriculum and to explore their influence on students’ technical skills, creativity, and cultural understanding. A qualitative approach was employed, including classroom observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, documentation, and reflective analysis of teacher-student interactions. The findings reveal that a staged instructional strategy comprising cultural introduction, movement and vocal practice, role playing, reflection, mini-performances, and collaborative evaluation supports the development of students’ technical abilities, creative engagement, collaboration, and appreciation of cultural heritage. While the results suggest positive learning outcomes, they are context-specific and exploratory; further research is needed to examine the strategy’s effectiveness across different educational settings. The study highlights the potential of integrating traditional Mak Yong theater into school curricula to foster cultural awareness and preserve this heritage for younger generations.
