Abstract

The limited systematic evaluation of the effectiveness of partnership-based projects in supporting creative economy policies poses a challenge in developing sustainable entrepreneurship models. This study aims to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of partnership-based Wedding Organizer start-up development projects in supporting national creative economy policies. The evaluation was conducted using Stake's Countenance Model, which includes three main components: antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. The research instrument was developed based on three layers of theory: Grand Theory, Middle Range Theory, and Applied Theory. It was then validated using Aiken's V approach and tested for reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. The study's results indicate that the program has a positive impact on increasing the entrepreneurial capacity of participants, enhancing the effectiveness of partnership-based training, and promoting business sustainability. The program also successfully established a broad business network, directly contributing to local economic growth. These findings provide new insights into the effectiveness of evaluating partnership models within the creative economy ecosystem. This evaluation model can be replicated and adapted for similar programs in other creative sectors to support community-based development policies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the English language teaching program integrated into the Mata Kuliah Karakter Unggul (MKKU) at Universitas Subang using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved data collection through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that the English program aligns well with the university’s character education framework and supports the development of students’ global competencies. The context evaluation indicated that students perceived strong alignment between the course content and the vision and mission of their study programs, as well as its relevance to future professional needs. The input evaluation showed that lecturers possess competencies aligned with their fields of expertise and that learning media were generally supportive, although digital media utilization remains inconsistent. The process evaluation highlighted improvements in students’ English proficiency, character formation, and readiness to face global challenges. The product evaluation confirmed positive outcomes in student engagement, character reinforcement, and oral communication confidence. Despite these strengths, students suggested improvements in speaking and listening activities, interactive learning methods, feedback mechanisms, and access to instructional resources. The study concludes that while the program is effectively structured, continuous enhancement in pedagogical strategies and infrastructure is essential to maximize its impact.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of an English for Specific Purposes (ESP) program for engineering students at a private university in West Java, Indonesia, using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The study involved 15 participants, including 10 Mechanical Engineering students, 3 ESP instructors, and 2 program administrators. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis over a four-month period. The findings revealed that the program successfully identified students' professional language needs, particularly in technical writing and oral presentation, aligning well with industry and academic expectations. Quantitative data indicated an average 18% improvement in students' writing and presentation scores over one semester. Despite these gains, listening skills remained underdeveloped due to the limited integration of audio-based materials and listening-focused instruction. The curriculum applied project-based learning and included some authentic materials but was hindered by insufficient instructor training and inadequate resource support. The study underscores the importance of aligning curriculum design, pedagogical strategies, and resource allocation with learner needs. It also affirms the utility of the CIPP model in evaluating ESP programs holistically and provides practical implications for curriculum developers, language educators, and institutional policymakers committed to enhancing the quality and impact of ESP instruction in engineering education.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of emergency online learning during covid 19 in STKIP Media Nusantara Citra using the CIPP evaluation model. The Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model was formed to identify the evaluation result for the sake of program improvement. The descriptive qualitative study was used in this research. The subjects of this research were the Director of STKIP MNC, the head of the quality control board, the vice director of STKIP MNC, The lecturers, the academic staff, and the students of STKIP MNC. The study utilized several instruments to gather the data; document analysis, observational checklist, questionnaire, and interview. The result of the study showed that in the context phase, the program was held based on a clear base: the Minister of Education and Culture letter No. 1 of 2020. In the input process. Moodle Learning Management system was the main component of delivering online learning. In the process stage, The Obstacles were internet networks and inadequate student-owned facilities, which are significant hurdles to the program's implementation. Moreover, the last phase, product evaluation, the use of LMS in online learning, eased the measurement of student participation in the program. However, the problems that appeared in the process evaluation must be the base of analysis in the future to ensure the sustainability of the hybrid learning program.
