Abstract

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam that every Muslim must fulfil as a form of obedience to Allah SWT and a means of equalizing income justice throughout society. Baznas as the manager of the zakat has made a breakthrough in the zakat program by utilizing digital technology, namely zakat payments that can be made online. The purpose of this study is to see how the role, implementation and influence of this digital zakat system on increasing the receipt of zakat funds at Baznas Medan City. This research method uses a qualitative approach. This research is carried out directly into the field to describe in detail certain phenomena and then analyzes them to produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people or observed behaviour. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques and instruments are through interviews and documentation. His research shows that the digitization of zakat acts as a method of collecting zakat funds digitally, which makes it easier for Baznas and muzakki to save time and money. Moreover, to make zakat fund collection more transparent, massive, effective and efficient. The implementation of digitizing zakat at Baznas Medan is through bank transfers, websites, scanning QR codes, and social media. Then the effect of the digitalization system from the website and QR code has not been maximally felt both from Baznas and the community; this is due to the lack of socialization and promotion carried out by Medan City Baznas to the public regarding this digitization system and the existence of some people who do not have the desire to pay their zakat digitally.Keywords: Baznas, Digitalization, Zakat Acceptance

Abstract

The financial crisis is a problem that continues to occur, but the right solution has not been agreed upon to prevent it. Interest-based debt and its derivation is believed to be one of the causes of the emergence of the crisis. Interest-based financing causes the cost of obtaining capital to be higher. This triggers a bubble in the economy, where there is a gap between the real sector and the financial sector. This study offers a preventive solution to this crisis problem through a literature study approach. The findings of this study are that there is data that shows the Islamic financial system with its characteristics is able to withstand the crisis. In addition, the Islamic financial system based on profit sharing and risk balances the economy and is believed to be able to prevent a crisis from occurring. Abstract

Interest-based debt is prohibited in Islam because of its exploitative nature. The main purpose of implementing Islamic sharia in financial activities is to eliminate injustice and inequalities in financial transactions. The main characteristic of Islamic finance is the prohibition of charging interest, also known as usury. The findings in this study that debt that was continuously extended during the crisis did not have the effect of restoring the economy to normal conditions, instead providing an impetus for a continuous crisis. Interest-based debt is a dangerous weapon to exploit and extort poor people who need venture capital. Furthermore, the high interest in using interest-based debt is exploited by the surplus capital to increase their wealth. Interest-based debt with high costs weakens the economy, although from a capital turnover perspective it looks bigger. The solution of the Islamic financial system with an interest-free loan scheme (Qardhul Hasan) is an alternative that has been proven to provide an incentive to increase welfare. Qardhul Hasan with a low cost becomes effective in increasing output, absorbing employment, and maintaining a low inflation rate without creating negative side effects in the economy. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti perilaku investor generasi Z muslim dalam mengambil keputusan untuk menggunakan aplikasi trading binary option Binomo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskritif  kualitatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat dua kelompok yang berbeda dari perilaku Gen-Z muslim, kelompok yang pertama adalah mereka yang memutuskan untuk  tetap memakai aplikasi Binomo walaupun sudah mengetahui akan hukum binomo yang memiliki unsur judi didalamnya, dan satu kelompok lainnya yang langsung meninggalkan aplikasi Binomo saat mengetahui aplikasi ini mengandung unsur judi dalam transaksinya. Prespektif generasi Z muslim terhadap aplikasi Binomo pada sisi hukum memiliki berbagai sudut pandang yang berbeda terutama pada keputusan untuk terus menggunakan ataupun meninggalkan aplikasi ini. Keputusan OJK dan BAPPEBTI terhadap legalitas aplikasi ini memiliki titik terang saat kedua badan tersebut telah menyatakan bahwa aplikasi Binomo ini ilegal. Kata Kunci: perilaku investor, Binary Option Binomo, Gen-Z muslim, investasi syariah.   ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the behavior of Muslim generation Z investors in making decisions to use the Binomo binary options trading application. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. This study concludes that there are two different groups of Muslim Gen-Z behavior, the first group is those who decide to continue using the Binomo application even though they already know the Binomo law which has gambling elements in it, and another group who immediately leaves the Binomo application. when you find out this application contains elements of gambling in the transaction. The perspective of Generation Z Muslims towards the Binomo application on the legal side has different points of view, especially on the decision to continue to use or leave this application. The decision of OJK and BAPPEBTI on the legality of this application has a bright spot when the two agencies have declared that the Binomo application is illegal. Abstract

Millennials or often called Generation Y is a term used to refer to generations born in the 1980s to 2000. This generation is familiar with communication, media, and digital technology. Not surprisingly, this generation is taking advantage of technological advances as an opportunity to do business. This phenomenon was exploited by Rendy Saputra to establish the Community of Saudagar Nusantara (SSN) Society. The activities carried out by the SSN community are interesting to study because in a short time (established 2 June 2017) this community was able to mobilize various communities in 40 cities in Indonesia as partners in empowering MSMEs. This study aims to determine the pattern of economic empowerment carried out by Medan SSN and SWOT analysis of the empowerment carried out. This research is descriptive qualitative with indepth interview as an instrument for collecting data. The results showed that the pattern of empowerment carried out by Medan SSN was Mentoring Bisnis Pekanan (MBP) Program, Kopdar Saudagar Nusantara, SSN and visiting business of member and non-member SSN, and Group WhatsApp for communication, business promotion, and sharing knowledge through online lectures. Based on the value of Internal Strategy Factors (IFAS) and External Strategy Factors (EFAS), SSN Medan is known that the pattern of empowerment carried out by Medan SSN is in the first quadrant, which supports progressive strategies.

Abstract

Fish in the river are mubahah goods that do not belong to anyone so that everyone can have them perfectly (milk at-tamm) by hunting them (ishthiyad). However, in  the lubuk larangan case, local villagers forbade people from anywhere to hunt fish at that location, with any fishing gear, for a certain period. They also release fish seeds there and then ask for some payment when harvesting the forbidden river for those who want to hunt fish. This article aims to describe the problems in the lubuk larangan case related to the practice of muamalah jurisprudence using qualitative methods with a fiqh-empirical approach. The results invite us to discuss how the fiqh of muamalah reviews the prohibition on hunting fish in the lubuk larangan area, the release of fish seeds in the prohibition area and their ownership status, and the transaction costs of fish hunting in the lubuk larangan area.

Abstract

Existence of coffee shops now  in the Medan city has greatly increased. Of course this triggers competition between coffee shops, so that every coffee shop owner must think about their efforts to face their competitors. Then an optimal marketing strategy is needed. To determine the optimal marketing strategy, game theory is used using the 7P marketing mix strategy, namely Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence. The coffee shops that are the object of this study are the DWS Coffee Shop and the Khup Kupi Coffee Shop. In assessing the marketing strategies used by each coffee shop, the researcher distributed a questionnaire to a number of coffee shop customers, therefore the researcher used Probability Sampling. The analysis technique used is descriptive test, validity test, reliability test and game theory which are processed using POM QM 5.0. From the results of the research that has been tested, it was found that the DWS Coffee Shop won the Price, Process, and Physical Evidance strategy, while the Khup Kupi coffee shop won the Product, Place, Promotion and People strategy. In this study, the results showed that both coffee shops have a saddle point of 788, which means that the two coffee shops have tight competition. And in this study also according to the results of the test results of the DWS Coffee Shop and Khup Kupi Coffee Shop simultaneously using Physical Evidance with points of 1 indicated.

Abstract

Strategy Sales Growth Financing Bank Syariah melalui Take Over dari Bank Konventional Berdasarkan Prinsip Syariah. Penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan bagaimana cara perbankan syariah dapat berkembang lebih baik lagi dengan melakukan pembiayaan secara take over (pengalihan hutang) atau hiwalah sesuai dengan alternatif yang ditawarkan oleh fatwa DSN MUI Nomor : 31/DSN-MUI/VI/2002 tentang pengalihan piutang. Penelitian ini menggunaan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dimana data-data diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, maupun catatan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fatwa DSN-MUI Nomor : 31/DSN-MUI/VI/2002 memberikan 4 alternatif dalam melakukan take over. 4 alternatif tersebut merupakan rangkaian akad qard, ijarah, murabahah, syirkah al milk dan ijarah muntahiyah bit at tamlik.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in Indonesia creates opportunities for the business world to be supported and supported by government programs so that many business actors take advantage of e-commerce to continue to be able to compete in today's technological developments. However, this is inversely proportional to the public's interest in implementing e-commerce in their business. This study aims to see the application of e-commerce through startups that can strengthen the business competitiveness of GPS Medan, then see what the motives of GPS Medan players in implementing e-commerce through startups and see how the impact of the application of e-commerce in strengthening business competitiveness. Terrain GPS via startup. The method used in this research is a comparative method that is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interviews which is supported by a documentation study of sthe company and consumers of the Medan GPS company. The results showed that the application of e-commerce through the startup GPS Medan was able to increase the market, increase the ability to innovate and facilitate consumer transactions so as to increase the business competitiveness of the GPS Medan company. In addition, the motive that encourages business actors to implement e-commerce through startups is that businesses will be more trusted and increase credibility, startup businesses also do not need a strategic office, increase market news, and can build strong branding and identity, and have a positive impact in increasing number of consumers, sales, income, creating jobs, and the opportunity to add new business services as a result of understanding technology.

Abstract

The number of takaful insurance customers is decreasing every year. This can be caused by the level of customer satisfaction that can be influenced by product factors, promotions, and services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of products, promotions, and services on customer satisfaction using educational fund takaful insurance products. This research is quantitative research. This research was conducted at PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Medan with a sample of 70 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) analysis are supported by classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, t-test and f-test using the Eviews application. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously, product, promotions, and services influence customer satisfaction and partially only promotional variables that do not affect customer satisfaction. Thus, Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Medan should maintain the strategy that has been implemented and increase promotional activities to be able to achieve the company's target in increasing customer satisfaction.
