Abstract

Risk management is a benchmark for every institution and organization in minimizing the risks that occur. Where decisions taken must take into account Islamic law. All forms of risk that occur continue to prioritize the concept of sharia. This paper is descriptive qualitative, which explains about risk management, then risk management in sharia concepts, and risk management in insurance institutions. The results of this paper indicate that risk management has various processes, namely, identification, evaluation and measurement, and risk management. Insurance is one way to manage risk, it's just that until now there is still an assumption that insurance is against destiny. Sharia insurance as an endeavor, which is not contrary to the concept of trustworthiness. The form can be in the form of operational risk (operational risk) such as failure to pay, legal risk (legal risk), and reputation risk (reputation risk) in addition to moral hazard is also often encountered obstacles faced by the company is sourced from external and internal company. In managing risk, Islam provides a solution with the concept of risk sharing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence murabahah financing and profit sharing (mudharabah and musyarakah) have on the profitability of Return On Assets (ROA) mediated by Non Performing Financing (NPF). The sample used in this study was 10 BUS in an annual form from 2014 to 2019, and the approach used was a quantitative approach. This study used 60 samples which were processed using the panel data regression analysis method using the eviews 9 application. The results of the analysis showed that this study produced a coefficient of determination (R-square) in the structural model I which was 70.7% of the murabahah, mudharabah, and musyarakah financing variables. affect ROA in Islamic commercial banks while 29.3% is explained by other variables. The results of the coefficient of determination (R-square) model II, which is 72.2% of the murabahah, mudharabah and musyarakah financing variables affect ROA in Islamic commercial banks while 27.8% is influenced by other variables. This study shows that murabahah, mudharabah, musyarakah and NPF financing have a simultaneous effect on ROA with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. From the results of the indirect effect significance test, it was found that there was no significant indirect effect of murabahah financing and profit sharing variables (mudharabah and musharaka on ROA profitability ratios through NPF as an intervening variable in Islamic commercial banks.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze cryptocurrencies based on the characteristics of money, legal perspective, economic perspective and sharia perspective. In this study, the methodology used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results show that in this case cryptocurrency can be accepted as money (from the perspective of money characteristics), cryptocurrency does not meet the criteria as a currency (currency perspective), cryptocurrency does not fully fulfill the function of currency (economic perspective), cryptocurrency is not a legal currency in Indonesia. (legal perspective) and the existence of two scholars' opinions (accept and prohibit) regarding cryptocurrency (sharia perspective)

Abstract

Financial literacy is a very important element of knowledge for the economic progress of a country because it is closely related to public interest, the higher the level of public financial literacy, the easier it is for the financial system to be accepted in the community to be implemented and contribute to the economic growth of a region, because with The high level of financial literacy in the community, the easier it will be for financial institutions to provide financial access to the public. the enactment of qanun no 11 of 2018 regarding Islamic financial institutions in Aceh has begun since January 4, 2019, all financial institutions in Aceh. In this study, the data used is secondary data obtained from scientific references as quoted from journals, books texts, working papers, national and international scientific forums and other sources deemed relevant to this research. the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that nationally the financial literacy of the Indonesian people is still relatively low, but for the Aceh region itself it is higher than the level of public understanding of sharia finance in Aceh which is above the average public understanding of sharia banking nationally. The interest of the Acehnese people in transacting in Islamic banking is currently increasing, as can be seen from the increasing graph in terms of assets, financing, and third party funds, especially in 2021.

Abstract

Starbucks as well as other companies requires loyalty from its customers to increase the quantity of sales. However, it seems that Starbucks does not care about the loyalty of Muslim customers. This is evident from the Starbucks support campaign for LGBT which is clearly the opposite of Islamic teachings. Because, if Muslims are loyal to Starbucks who are known to support LGBT, it means that Muslims play a role in supporting LGBT. The purpose of this study is to find out Muslim consumer loyalty to Starbucks after Starbucks supported LGBT and also to find out Muslim consumers' responses to Starbucks for providing support Starbucks Coffee in the LGBT community. This study was conducted using qualitative methods. In this study the authors found that Starbucks support for LGBT is an act that violates business ethics in the scope of social responsibility. Moreover LGBT is a for acts that are forbidden in Islam. So Starbucks support for LGBT actions received a positive response from Muslim consumers. From informants who were questioned there was not one informant who agreed with Starbucks Coffee's support for LGBT. 3 of the 5 informants lost their loyalty to Starbucks and reluctant to go back to Starbucks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the direct influence of deposits, financing and bancassurance on the profits of Islamic banks and the welfare of society and indirect influence or through the intervening variables of profits on the welfare of society and total influence. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection methods used are documentation methods based on data in the form of monthly financial statements for the period 2014-2018 and per capita income data that has been published. The method of data analysis in this study is by using the path analysis method. The results of the study show that financing significantly affects earnings while third party funds and bancassurance do not directly affect earnings. Deposits and profits of Islamic banks significantly influence directly on public welfare and bancassurance negatively influences people's welfare while financing does not. Financing indirectly significantly influences welfare through profit variables, whereas DPK and bancassurance do not. Business activities of Islamic banks have a role in addition to achieving company profits, also have a positive impact on the welfare of the Indonesian people. Funding and third party funds that generate profits are a determining factor for improving community welfare rather than bancassurance sales.

Abstract

The theory of the law of demand States that when prices go up then the demand for such items will decrease, and vice versa, but actually this theory does not apply to the export price the export prices caused the betel nut betel nut fluctuating. At observing the start of export prices cause suspected pinang fluctuating due to changes in exchange rates, the volume of exports, and bea came out. This research aims to know and explain the influence of the variable exchange rates, the volume of export and customs out simultaneously against the export price of betel nut on CV exporter company. The noble work of the terrain and the influence of the exchange rate, the volume of export and customs out partially against the export price. This type of research is research with quantitative approach. The variables used in this study is the exchange rate, the volume of export and customs came out as export prices and free variable pinang as variables are bound. This study uses secondary data using time series (time series) data per month during the period from 2013 to 2018. Methods of data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis using Reviews program 8. Multiple linear regression analysis results indicate that the presence of influence simultaneously between the variable exchange rates, export volume and export price out against bea pinang, partially contained positive influence between Exchange rates and export volume against the export price of betel nut, and there is the influence of the negative influences of customs between partially out against export price the exporter company pinang CV. Abstract

The using of mobile banking facility as the efficiency in consument’s transaction at Bank of Muamalat should be paid attention. The easy of operasionalization and transaction of mobile banking as the day is support the consument at Bank of Muamalat Medan to use the facility non-cash.  This research is to understand about: (1) as the relevant of the importance influence among usefulness factor, the easy of use, compatibility, credibility, risk, cost, and self ability toward on intention to use, transaction non cash of mobile Banking, (2) as the gathering the importance influence among usefulness factor, ease to use, compatibility, credibility, risk, cost, and self ability toward on intention to use, transaction non cash of mobile Banking. This research is using quantitative research by using double linier regression The population of this research is the customer of Bank of Muamalat around 830 people and the sample 126 people. The result of this research is showing the gathering of usefulness variable, easy of using, compatibility, credibility, risk, cost, and self ability toward on intention to use, transaction non cash of mobile Banking influence desiring to use the of mobile.  As the relevant of usefulness, easy of use, compatibility, credibility, risk, cost, and self-efficacy toward on intention to use, transaction non cash of mobile Banking has the influence toward the variable of intention to use.

Abstract

Obligation to fulfill family welfare is the duty of the husband as the head of the family, but women as housewives are allowed to assist the responsibilities of the husband by actively working in the public sector. Women play a dual role not only as a housewife but also as a career woman. This study aims to analyze the participation of women workers in order to fulfilling family welfare in PTKIN in Sumatra. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by interviewing a number of female workers in several PTKIN in Sumatra, namely State Islamic University of Arraniry Banda Aceh, State Islamic University of Sumatera Utara Medan, State Islamic University of Imam Bonjol Padang, and State Islamic University of Raden Fatah Palembang. The results of the research indicate that the participation of women workers in fulfilling family welfare plays an important role. Based on this research, the contribution carried out by women workers can be grouped into three namely: a. Contribute more than 50% in helping fulfill family welfare b. Contribute less than 50% in helping fulfill family welfare c. Contributed to the fulfillment of family welfare by 50%. .

Abstract

This study aims to determine Islamic values, wages, career development, and motivation, on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah Medan Branch Office. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods by processing primary data through questionnaires given to employees of Bank Sumut, Medan Syariah Branch Office as many as 77 respondents with sampling techniques, namely saturated samples and associative methods to test the relationship between variables. The data obtained were processed using SPSS Version 22 and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The analysis used includes instrument validity and reliability tests, statistical tests which include t-test, f-test, and classical assumption test which includes normality test, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity test. Based on the output results of SPSS version 22, it shows that the variable x2 (wages) has a positive and significant effect on the Y variable (employee performance) because the t-count value is 13,843 > t table 1.66543 and is significant 0.000
