Abstract

Golongan darah merupakan bentuk klasifikasi darah dari suatu individu berdasarkan ada atau tidaknya zat antigen warisan pada permukaan membran sel darah merah yang disebabkan karena adanya perbedaan jenis karbohidrat dan protein pada permukaan membrane sel darah merah. Golongan darah AB memiliki sel darah merah dengan antigen A dan B di permukaan eritrositnya serta tidak menghasilkan antibodi terhadap antigen A maupun antigen B dalam serum darahnya. Sedangkan golongan darah O memiliki sel darah tanpa antigen, tetapi dalam serumnya terdapat antibodi terhadap antigen A dan B. Golongan darah secara umum terbagi menjadi empat golongan darah yaitu A,B,O dan AB, selain itu darah juga dikelompokkan menjadi golongan darah Rh positif (rh+) dan Rh negatif (rh-). Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pentingnya golongan darah serta untuk mengetahui jumlah persentase siswa yang memiliki golongan darah A, B, AB, O. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah persiapan, dan pelaksanaan dengan mengambil sampel darah dari setiap siswa sehingga diperoleh hasil dari setiap golongan darah siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan, bahwa ada semua golongan darah yaitu A, B, AB dan O. Presentase hasil pemeriksaan yaitu siswa dengan golongan darah A dan B sebanyak 29%, golongan darah B sebesar 39%, dan golongan darah O 27%. Semua siswa (100%) memiliki rhesus positif (Rh +).

Abstract

Background. One of the main barriers to antenatal care is poor knowledge about pregnancy danger signs and the importance of regular ANC visits. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) design to describe and evaluate the effectiveness of educational activities and assistance for pregnant women in preparing for safe childbirth in health-prone areas. Methods. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with pregnant women, health cadres, and local medical personnel. Pre- and postintervention evaluations were conducted using questionnaires that measured changes in pregnant women's knowledge, readiness, and anxiety levels towards childbirth. Results. After the educational intervention, there was a significant increase in the readiness of pregnant women to face childbirth, with the average score increasing from 46.1 before the intervention to 79.2 after the intervention. The level of anxiety decreased from an average score of 71.5 to 43.9. Maternal knowledge about planning for delivery places increased from 49.3 to 81.5 after the education intervention. Husband/family participation in childbirth preparation increased from a mean score of 38.7 to 72.0 after the program. Conclusions. The educational and mentoring program implemented at the community level has shown effectiveness in increasing knowledge and readiness, as well as reducing anxiety. It is recommended that this program be integrated into the primary health care system and supported by policies that encourage active family participation in maternal and child health.

Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamics of ijarah contracts and their implications for the growth of Islamic banks in Indonesia, with a case study of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) during the period 2020-2024. The ijarah contract is one of the main financing instruments in Islamic banking that provides an alternative to leasing the benefits of assets without transferring ownership. Using a qualitative, normative legal approach and financial statement analysis, this study finds that ijarah-based financing, especially ljarah Muntahiyah Bit Tamlik (IMBT), shows a significant increase in the productive assets of Islamic banks. The value of ijarah assets increased from IDR 1.5 trillion (2020) to IDR 3.1 trillion (2024), reflecting the strategic role of this contract in driving the growth of Islamic financing. Despite facing challenges such as limited public understanding and operational complexity, the ijarah contract remains relevant and has the potential to expand Islamic financial inclusion. This study contributes to the understanding of the effectiveness of the ijarah contract as a driver of Islamic bank growth and highlights the need for increased education and strengthened regulations.

Abstract

Culture that is inherited hereditarily and takes place in certain local areas is an invaluable heritage, one of which is the weaving culture in Aceh Besar District of Aceh Province. The lack of young generation’s interest to sustain weaving activity is concerned with the existence of Aceh Songket weaving, which contains various philosophical meanings in the future. Through education, it should be a relay to maintain the culture of weaving in Aceh Province so that it becomes the identity of the Aceh people. The research in this article aims to design and determine the feasibility of the media, practicality, and effectiveness of the Aceh Songket Weaving-making textbook media integrated with local wisdom. The development of textbook media uses a 4-D development model. The results of the validity testing validated by material experts and media experts indicate a score of 91.5%, in which the considered aspects are categorized as very valid; the practicality testing indicates 80% in the practical category, and the effectiveness testing on students’ performance aspects indicates a score of 80 in the good criteria. Along with the data, it can be concluded that textbooks are feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the types of expressive speech acts and the context of the expressive speech acts uttered by the main character in the Joker movie. The design of the research was descriptive qualitative research. The data source was the Joker Movie directed by Todd Phillips. The movie was released in 2019 and its duration was about 1 hour 55 minutes. The data of this research were utterances included as expressive speech acts. The data were collected by watching, observing, and writing down the utterances indicated as expressive speech acts found in the movie. The data were analyzed by using formal and informal methods. The data were presented by using a table (Formal method) and description (Informal method). The contexts of the utterances were analyzed by using SPEAKING model. The results of the analysis showed that there were six classifications of expressive speech acts uttered by the main character in the Joker Movie. The total number of expressive speech acts found in the movie was 27 utterances covering 7 utterances of greeting, 6 utterances of agreeing, 5 utterances of thanking, 4 utterances of apologizing, 3 utterances of wishing, and 2 utterances of exclamation. The researcher found that the expressive speech act of greeting was the most frequently used by the main character. It showed that the main character liked to express his salutation when he met someone.

Abstract

Pentingnya kinerja seorang guru akan memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap tujuan pada suatu sekolah dalam meningkatkan output dari pendidikan yang telah diberikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuisioner yang diberikan kepada 104 orang guru yang dipilih secara acak sebagai sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Penelitian dilakukan yaitu responden memberikan tanggapan terhadap kuesioner dalam bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda dan pengolahan data menggunakan program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengalaman kerja memberi pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, artinya semakin baik pengalaman kerja maka akan semakin baik kinerja guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Hal ini berarti bahwa pengalaman kerja merupakan variabel penting untuk diperhatikan agar kinerja guru bisa meningkat. Dengan meningkatnya kinerja guru tentu akan berdampak pada pencapaian tujuan yang ditentukan sebelumnya, banyak pekerjaan dan perencanaan sekolah yang tercapai dan yang selesai tepat waktu. Kerja tim sangat erat kaitannya terhadap kinerja guru, artinya semakin tinggi kerja tim akan menunjang kinerja guru yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu kerja tim merupakan hal penting untuk diperhatikan di dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru.

Abstract

This paper discusses an experimental research study regarding the effect of PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summary, and Test) strategy on reading comprehension of the first-year students at SMAN 1 of Sabak Auh Siak. The study shows that 65% of the students have difficulties in comprehending the reading passage about a descriptive text. Based on the students’ reading indicators, it can be identified that they have difficulties in determining the main idea, locating references, understanding vocabulary, making inferences, and finding detailed information. This study uses a quantitative method on a true experimental design of two groups of first-year students using pre-test and post-test. The study involves 44 students, divided into two classes: the control class with 21 students and the experimental class with 23 students. The instrument is a test that consists of questions with multiple choices and four options (A/B/C/D). In order to analyze the data formula, statistical software namely SPSS version 23 is used to analyze the results of the study. The significant effect of PQRST (Preview, Question, Read, Summary, and Test) strategy on reading comprehension at the first-year students of SMAN 1 Sabak Auh in Kabupaten Siak (2-tailed) is. 000 ˂ .005, which means that the H0 is rejected, while Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect on first-year students' reading comprehension in descriptive text between the students who are taught by applying the PQRST strategy and those who are not.

Abstract

This correlation research aimed to examine the relationship between students’ family support and English learning achievement of third-year students in the English study program at Universitas Riau. The instruments included a 34-item family support questionnaire, adapted from the Social Family Support Scale (Thoriq, 2013), and students’ English learning achievement scores obtained from their GPA in English language skills subjects: Listening Comprehension 1–3, Speaking 1–3, Reading Comprehension 1–3, and Writing 1–3. The population consisted of 110 third-semester students, with 89 students selected using cluster random sampling. The results indicated a moderate correlation between family support and English learning achievement. Students’ family support was at a high level, and their English learning achievement was at a good level (B+), with family support contributing 16.9% to students’ achievement.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out students’ difficulties in understanding descriptive texts at the second year of SMAN 3 Langgam, Riau. This was quantitative research. The population of this research was all students at the second year of SMAN 3 Langgam. The samples of this research were 34 students at XI IIS 1 class who were selected by using the cluster-random-sampling technique. The data were collected by using tests and questionnaires. The test consisted of 40 questions, and the questionnaire consisted of 25 questions. The percentage of the answers of the reading test revealed eight components of reading comprehension. Six of them were categorized as high level difficult questions, including difficulties in identifying vocabulary, generic structure, factual information, reference, language features, and social functions. Two of them were categorized as medium level, including difficulties in identifying the main idea and inference. Based on the result of the questionnaire, the students found difficulties in understanding descriptive texts due to the intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The intrinsic factors were limited vocabulary knowledge, problems in recalling information, lack of familiarity with the subject topic, lack of reading fluency, and problems in processing information after reading. Meanwhile, the extrinsic factors were weak verbal reasoning, problems in understanding the text because of the level of the text, and inadequate use of reading strategies in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of pancasila education for class IV students at SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the discovery learning model based on prezi media on the learning outcomes of pancasila education of elementary school students. This research method is quasi experimental with quantitative research type and research design using non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study is 91 students and the sample is 47 students. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of pretest and posttest and non-tests in the form of observation. Data was analyzed using simple linear regression. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of the media-based discovery learning model prezi on the learning outcomes of students in the learning of pancasila education class IV at SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat in the 2025/2026 academic year
