Abstract

The aim of this study is to (1) evaluate the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the growth of the Indonesian capital market (IDX); and (2) assess the influence of externalities and social distancing policies on the dynamics of the Indonesian capital market's progress. The case study approach is paired with a statistical research methodology that allows the use of dummy variables in multiple regression. The dependent variable is IDX, while the independent variables are the amount of Covid-19 instances in Indonesia, China, and Spain, the FTSE100 (London), Hangseng (Hong Kong), and NASDAQ (New York) stock indices, as well as differences in Indonesia's social distancing policies (Satgas, WFH and PSBB). According to the study's conclusions, both internal and external influences influenced the IDX's push. Inside Indonesia, the financial market has been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing policies. The Covid-19 pandemic in China and Spain had an impact on the ISHG index externally. Likewise, Hong Kong, London, and New York's capital markets.

Abstract

This analysis aims to examine the impact of liquidity and firm size on firm valuation by analyzing empirical evidence from firms that went public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2015 and 2017. Between 2015 and 2017, the population for this study consisted of 22 firms that were classified on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Purposive sampling was used to collect data. The sample parameters are as follows: (1) firms that have always presented earnings results annually between 2015 and 2017, and (2) companies that have continued to pay dividends annually between 2015 and 2017. The data is derived from articles on the IDX database, which can be accessed at www.idx.co.id. During the past four years, there have been 16 businesses sampled. The regression analysis methodology was used in this study. The findings indicate that firm liquidity has a favorable and statistically relevant impact on firm valuation. The scale of the company has a detrimental and marginal effect on the firm's value.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the partial and simultaneous effect of profitability and financial risk on earnings management. The sampling method of this research is purposive sampling with the 3 largest Indonesian provider companies that registered on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015 – 2018 as the sample. This research used secondary data from IDX with multiple linear regression as the analysis technique. The result of this research indicates that partially profitability and financial risk hurts earnings management. While simultaneously profitability and financial risk showed a positive effect on earnings management.

Abstract

In order to face a competitive market environment, knowing the position of the product itself and competitors is needed. Coffee is the main tropical commodity traded in the world. Coffee has great potential and is very competitive. The research objective is to determine the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee and processed coffee beans exports in the international market by using Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) to analyze the trade that occurs in several other major exporters such as Brazil, Colombia, and Vietnam as competitors of Indonesian coffee and analyze strategies to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee export in the international market. Indonesia has an average RCA value of 3.64 and is the smallest value compared to other world coffee exporting countries. The small RCA value indicates that Indonesia's comparative advantage still needs to be improved. Based on Export Product Dynamics (EPD), it is known that there are three countries, including Indonesia, which has lost opportunities to be able to trade with other countries, especially coffee products. This condition makes Indonesia needs to improve. Production activities and maintain quality. Indonesian coffee products have a variety of types, which, when used, will increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian state.

Abstract

As long as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, MSMEs will experience setbacks and face various problems. They will continue to do so if there is no adaptation from the perpetrators to increase their productivity again. The low productivity of MSMEs causes the profit also generated to decrease. This is a threat to the national economy. Therefore, efforts and strategies are needed to save MSMEs so they can continue to survive amid the COVID-19 pandemic, even after the pandemic. The strategy that can be used, for example, is the MSME digitalization development strategy from the Kemenkop MSMEs, namely: preparing MSME business actors to increase human resources and intervene in improving MSME business processes which will later be implemented in several programs. For the strategy to be successful, MSMEs need to innovate business through genuine efforts, such as using digital marketing and creative content, as well as improving quality and service so that more potential customers are captured, and it is hoped that repeat purchases will occur in the future. Buying and selling transactions mean that the opportunity for MSMEs to survive is more significant, and the Indonesian economy can move positively. This article was written using the literature study method by collecting empirical data sources related to the topics discussed in the article. The result is that the digitization program has several strategies for MSMEs to maintain their business, including (1) Utilizing the digital platform as much as possible, (2) Mastering digital marketing skills, (3) improving product quality.

Abstract

This study aims to find suitable strategic management to increase innovation and competitiveness of the hotel industry during the pandemic. This study uses SLR (Systematic Literature Review) articles in the hospitality industry to identify strategic management that can improve innovation and competitiveness of the hospitality industry during the pandemic. By using five appropriate and high-quality journals. The results show that the hotel industry needs to identify the main problems when facing a pandemic and then think of promising innovations by utilizing existing resources within the company.

Abstract

This study aims to identify whether or not the standard of human resources and job training on employee performance at Muslim clothing convection in Parungkuda. The population during this study amounted to 37 employees of Muslim clothing convection workers in Parungkuda. This research can be in the form of associative correlational research. Data were collected using observation methods and questionnaires. Information analysis method in this study utilizes descriptive analysis. Data analysis to perform hypothesis testing utilizes multiple correlation testing and significance tests with F test through the help of SPSS (Statistical Product and Repair Solutions) version 25 for windows program. Based on the study, obtained significant results between the impact of the quality of human resources and job training simultaneously on the work performance of employees through the results of multiple regression testing. Which Ftable is 2.47 and significant is 0.05. Fcount 50.199 > F Table 02.47, then H0 is rejected. He accepted.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in the 21st century is characterized by a high volume of flexibility and knowledge. The two features have gained a great and renewed relevance as competitive advantages in a globalized economy. The classical industry structure has transitioned into a smaller focus and higher decentralization which is a major indicator of global development. Global competition has increased as technology changes due to the rise of economic liberalization. Today, there is a belief that fostering a nation's competitiveness translates into fostered entrepreneurship. The fourth industrial revolution has brought in technological innovation, therefore, spurring a transformation in production. There are two facets to this transformation. One, the need to integrate and upgrade systems, and two, the emergency of new systems based on artificial intelligence technology. The increased application of technology speeds up the restructuring and structural upgrading of the global industrial chain, therefore, enhancing the spirit of entrepreneurship. The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on the globalization substance, industrial revolution 4.0, and the role of the associated technological innovation for economic development towards entrepreneurship. First, the paper will present a theoretical background of these phenomena synthetically from globalization, industrial revolution phases, associated technological innovation and milestones in economic growth, and their role in enhancing entrepreneurship. The paper will highlight the role of technology-driven profile in the new global economy, spearheaded by innovative business strategies towards entrepreneurial initiatives.

Abstract

Students in Cikelat Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency have low interest in continuing their education to college. This can be seen from the data in the Cikelat village database. The reason the students in this village do not continue their education to college is the constraint in the form of the costs needed to continue to college, and the majority of them think that graduating from high school is enough to prepare them for the world of work. To solve this problem, an increase in interest in continuing school was held with technology learning videos in high school and above. This increase in the attractiveness of further school interest is carried out by giving presentations on how important it is to continue education to higher education, outlining the paths that can be taken to enter higher education, scholarships provided by universities and the government, as well as explaining the general description of higher education. Then at the end, a learning video will be given about the benefits and importance of continuing education to college. Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan informasi mengenai hasil dari analisis rasio keuangan pada PT. Alfaria Sumber Trijaya, Tbk. Tahun 2017-2019, Rasio keuangan yang di bahas dalam penelitian ini adalah meliputi rasio likuiditas, rasio aktivitas, rasio leverage, rasio profitabilitas, dan rasio pasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini nilai kinerja yang di hasilkan pada PT. Alfaria Sumber Trijaya, Tbk. Tahun 2017-2019 terlalu tingginya current ratio dan cash ratio dengan demikian perusahaan harus lebih mengurangi atau lebih mengefisienkan penggunaan aktiva lancar yang diinvestasikan. Dan hasil penelitian ini juga memperlihatkan nilai rata-rata rasio likuiditas, rasio aktivitas, rasio leverage, rasio profitabilitas, dan rasio pasar PT. Alfaria Sumber Trijaya Tbk mempunyai nilai kinerja keuangan terbaik.
