The background for conducting this research is because of the high number of teenagers dropping out of school in Koto Tangah District. The research objectives were to 1) describe parental support for children in Koto Tangah District, 2) describe children's future orientation in Koto Tangah District, and 3) determine the relationship between parental support and children's future orientation in Koto Tangah District. This research includes quantitative correlational research. The population in this study were all mothers of school dropout children in Koto Tangah District, totaling 30 people. Total Sampling Technique is a technique for taking as many samples as the population. Researchers determined the research sample to be 100% of the population. The data collection technique is a questionnaire, the data collection tool uses a questionnaire which contains a list of statements or questions. Data analysis techniques are percentages and the Spearman Ro correlation formula. The research results show that (1) parental support for children in Koto Tangah District is categorized as very supportive of children's education, (2) the future orientation of children's education in Koto Tangah District is still classified as high future orientation, and (3) there is a significant relationship significant relationship between parental support and children's future orientation in Koto Tangah District.Keywords: parental support, future

This writing aims to discuss the application of a sociological approach in non-formal education. Sociology is a science that studies human relations with humans. The sociological approach in non-formal education is to look at relationships and apply sociological principles in implementing learning in non-formal education. This research is motivated by the low interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing dressmaking at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan. One reason is the low family support. The purpose of this study was to describe family support and interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing dresses at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan and to see the relationship between family support and interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing dresses at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The population of this study were 50 PKW graduates sewing fashion at LKP Kasih Bunda in 2021. The sample of this study consisted of 35 people using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques and tools using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage and product moments. The results of this study indicate that (1) the support provided by the family is low; (2) the interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates in sewing fashion at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan is low; and (3) there is a significant relationship between family support and the interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing fashion at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan.

This research is that there are a large number of natural resources in Indonesia and various types and forms, one of which is jengkol, especially in the Nagari Kasang area, Padang Pariaman Regency which can improve human resources in terms of work. It is very clear that the process of processing jengkol into jengkol crackers in Korong Jambak Nagari Kasang is very helpful for the economy there, not only processing it into jengkol crackers, all the work is done by the people in Korong Jambak Nagari Kasang. This study aims (1) to determine community involvement in related elements in coaching. (2) knowing the implementation of learning between craftsmen, (3) knowing environmental support for jengkol cracker business, (4) knowing jengkol cracker marketing techniques.This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study which is expected to provide an overview of the research results. The setting of this research was conducted in Korong Jambak, Nagari Kasang, Padang Pariaman Regency. The source of this research was obtained from the jengkol cracker-making community. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data obtained from this study is by theoretical triangulation.The results of the study show that: (1) There is involvement of related elements in the form of support in the form of promotions and material assistance in coaching activities for the community (2) There are learning activities among fellow craftsmen in the form of cooperation and giving advice to each other, (3) There is support the environment for the jengkol cracker business physically and non-physically which is the economic empowerment of the people in Korong Jambak (4) The existence of marketing techniques for the jengkol cracker business by marketing Offline and Online (5) Results and impacts felt by jengkol cracker makers with empowered communities for the family and also the economic changes felt by the community itself.

AbstractPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi anggota dalam mengikuti wirid remaja. Tujuan dari kegiatan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran: kepemimpinan ketua ikatan remaja masjid, partisipasi anggota pada wirid remaja, dan hubungan kepemimpinan ketua masjid dengan partisipasi anggota pada wirid di Kota Pariaman. Penelitian dilakukan secara pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian yaitu anggota remaja masjid Desa Punggung Lading Kota Pariaman. Sementara sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data memakai rumus persentase dan rank order. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan dari ketua ikatan remaja masjid dikategorikan kurang baik; (2) Partisipasi anggota pada wirid remaja dikategorikan rendah, dan; (3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan ketua masjid dengan partisipasi anggota pada wirid di Kota Pariaman. Skripsi Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kedisiplinan anak usia dini di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan. Hal ini di duga karena rendahnya pemberian reward dari orang tua di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk :(1) Mendeskripsikan pemberian reward oleh orangtua kepada anak usia dini 5-6 Tahun di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan (2) Mendeskripsikan kedisiplin anak usia dini 5-6 Tahun di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan (3) Melihat hubungan pemberian reward oleh orangtua dengan kedisiplinan anak usia dini 5-6 Tahun di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional, dengan tujuan untuk mengungkap hubungan pemberian reward dengan kedisiplinan anak usia dini di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 5-6 tahun di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan yang berjumlah 105 orang dan dengan mengambil populasi yaitu 31 orang dengan menggunakan teknik area random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan rumus product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) pemberian reward terhadap anak usia dini di Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan dapat dikatakan kurang baik, (2) Kedisiplinan anak usia dini Desa Taluk Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan dapat dikatakan kurang baik, (3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemberian reward oleh orang tua dengan kedisiplinan anak usia dini 5-6 tahun di desa taluk kecamatan pariaman selatan. Saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu pentingnya pemberian reward oleh orang tua untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan anak usia dini.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kesiapan kerja peserta pelatihan di merupakan penelitian di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas (BPVP) Padang. Hal ini diduga dipengaruhi oleh efikasi diri sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) melihat efikasi diri peserta pelatihan di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Produktivitas Kota Padang 2) melihat kesiapan kerja peserta pelatihan di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Produktivitas Kota Padang 3) melihat hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kesiapan kerja peserta pelatihan di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Produktivitas Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel 75% diambil dari populasi sebanyak 80 orang sehingga diperoleh 60 orang. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yaitu : 1) efikasi diri peserta pelatihan di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Produktivitas Kota Padang tergolong rendah; 2) kesiapan kerja peserta pelatihan di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Produktivitas Kota Padang; 3) efikasi diri dan kesiapan kerja berkorelasi positif dan signifikan pada peserta pelatihan di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Produktivitas Kota Padang.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya intensitas penggunaan smartphone Oleh Remaja Di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui gambaran pengawasan orang tua di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok, mengetahui gambaran intensitas penggunaan smartphone remaja di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok dan mengetahui hubungan antara pengawasan orang tua dengan intensitas penggunaan smartphone remaja di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja di Jorong Koto Tinggi Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin yang berjumlah 90 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling, sehingga jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini yakni 60% dari jumlah populasi yaitu sebanyak 54 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data antara lain dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada responden penelitian, teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase untuk mencari korelasi dengan menggunakan rumus product moment. Hasil penelitian ini yakni : 1.) Pengawasan orang tua di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok dikategorikan rendah. 2.) Intensitas penggunaan smartphone oleh remaja di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok dikategorikan rendah. 3.) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengawasan orang tua dengan intensitas penggunaan smartphone remaja di Jorong Koto Nagari Surian Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Solok. Kata Kunci: pengawasan orang tua, intensitas, smartphone.

This study aims to understand the development of research on technology in the context of adult learning over the last ten years. This study used bibliometric analysis to identify research trends, relationships between concepts, and author collaborations. The data is obtained from the Google Scholar database with relevant keywords, and the number of publications is limited to 1,000 journals. The results show fluctuations in the growth of publications about technology in the context of adult learning from 2014 to 2023. Out of 1,000 publications indexed by Google Scholar, only 628 have information on year and publisher, while 308 do not. The peak of publication growth occurred in 2021, with 105 publications (16.7%), while the lowest number of publications was recorded in 2017, with 50 documents (8%). Research shows that the use of technology in adult learning continues to evolve. Nonetheless, there is still a paucity of research on technology and knowledge of andragogical content in adult learning. This provides an opportunity for other researchers to continue to develop this research trend.

This research aims to describe Mohammad Sjafei's educational thinking and the active-creative education system. This research is included in the literature review category and uses descriptive-interpretative methods. The author conducted a literature study to collect sources, then utilized relevant sources for the interpretation process, followed by presenting the results of the interpretation in well-structured sentences. The findings of this research describe Mohammad Sjafei as a national education figure who opened a non-formal school as an alternative school during the Dutch colonial era. He formulated his own educational curriculum which contains active-creative educational concepts. This active-creative education system provides the nation's children with the opportunity to explore their potential and develop their interests and talents to support their future careers. The aim of this education system is to form students who are independent and experts in their respective fields. This education system is able to overcome the problems of poverty and unemployment, opening up business opportunities and independence in the economic sector.
