Abstract

Report of covid-19 Center for Disease Control (CDC) in16 March showed that 31% of the 4,226 confirmed COVID-19 cases were people aged ≥ 65 years. The susceptibility of elderly individuals to several diseases is due to decreased immunity. Therefore, COVID-19 vaccination is an important step to take. This article aims to determine the management of COVID-19 vaccination in the elderly. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that vaccination is a preventive strategy to increase immunity in the elderly. Although the immune response is greatly reduced due to the aging process, the right adjuvant formulation can increase the effectiveness of the vaccine. An understanding of the adjuvant mechanism to increase vaccine effectiveness is needed to develop a stronger vaccine response in elderly individuals.

Abstract

The administration system in Indonesia, especially speaking in an education institution, is suffering from its bureaucracy. Several works have been placed and display the fluctuation of the tension. This essay attempts to grasp Max Weber's idea concerning bureaucracy that may offer an alternative contribution to its development. As a qualitative work, this article explores Weber's secondary sources and tries to reconstruct its core and bridge it to the local context. In conclusion, Weber's rationalism in bureaucracy discourse highlights the importance of individual skills and abilities. Weber's attention falls to the anthropological approach rather than its technical issue.

Abstract

Abstrak Problematika yang dihadapi oleh guru yang ada di SMP Negeri 1 Manado, dimana masalah yang mereka hadapi adalah disaat pandemic covid-19 yang mengharuskan para siswa dan guru harus berada di rumah dan pelajaran berbasis online. Maka media yang dipakai adalah TIK atau komputer serta menggunakan Platform Digital. Beberapa guru masih belum memiliki kemampuan untuk menggunakan komputer beserta platform digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan yaitu tentang Problematika Yang Dihadapi oleh Guru dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) Serta Platform Digital (Googlemeet, Zoom Meeting, dan Google Classroom (GCR) Dalam Masa Pandemic Covid-19 di SMP Negeri 1 Manado. Lokasi penelitian SMP Negeri 1 Manado. Hasil penelitiaan didapatkan masih banyak para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang masih kurang mampu mengoperasikan komputer dan tidak tahu menggunakan Platform belajar. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the independent learning curriculum management model at Manado State University. Independent learning curriculum management is a form of curriculum management with the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. The results of the study show that the independent curriculum management model at Manado State University has been implemented according to management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Of the nine study programs sampled that met the requirements, there were four study programs with a curriculum management model that were close to fulfilling the management function, although there were system constraints that were not yet available regarding the synchronization of courses between study programs and menus for MBKM contracts. In addition, the constraints related to human resources are still low knowledge about the implementation of independent curriculum management and the low interest of students to participate in MBKM activities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe digital learning management as an innovative learning media at the junior high school or junior high school level. This research is a qualitative research that collects data in the form of a series of descriptions of research results through interviews. Observation and documentation. This research was conducted at Manado I Public Middle School from August 2022 to September 2022. The results showed that planning at SMP Negeri I Manado. Judging from the research results, SMP Negeri I Manado had complete infrastructure according to its functions. And from the results of the documentation of digital tools that are sufficient and support digital media systems in the learning process. The results of the study show that the organization of digital media at SMP Negeri I Manado has been well implemented. The implementation of digital media as an innovative learning media for SMP Negeri I Manado is carried out first by training teachers how to use digital media in learning, then how to use internet sites, websites, videos, sound recordings, music, and Android applications to support and continue to enrich the learning process. . Supervision of digital media at SMP Negeri I Manado is carried out by the principal and teachers, staff and parents of students, to ensure that the use of digital media remains on the expected target, namely to support the learning process and improve student quality. Evaluation of digital media at SMP Negeri I Manado was carried out by analyzing the effect of using digital media in the learning process. So that the evaluation can be used for future program planning.

Abstract

21st Century Learning is learning with a new paradigm that is oriented towards learning new literacy, namely human literacy, data and technology. More specifically, mastery of 21st century skills, namely life and career skills, innovation and learning skills, and information, media, and ICT skills. The characteristics of learning to practice these essential skills lead to an interactive, holistic, integrative, scientific, contextual, thematic, effective, collaborative, and learner-centered learning process, so that in its implementation educators can design activities by choosing learning methods/models that can accommodate all of these characteristics in a comprehensive manner. In line with PAKEM learning which originates from the concepts of student-centered learning and learning is fun, so that students have the motivation to always learn without orders and they don't have feelings of heaviness and fear. Thus, the aspect of fun is learning and motivating students to explore, actively create and experiment continuously in the learning process becomes a significant aspect in the PAKEM learning process. In learning management there are three learning steps. The three steps include: 1), planning of the PAKEM learning process. Planning of the PAKEM learning process can be done when educators design syllabus and lesson plans; 2), implementation of PAKEM learning. This implementation is the application of the lesson plan. This implementation consists of preliminary, core and closing PAKEM learning activities; and 3) PAKEM learning evaluation. The PAKEM learning evaluation/assessment stage is a follow-up in the PAKEM learning process activities. Mission/Purpose of PAKEM learning evaluation is an effort to identify and understand the level of success in the learning process. Thus, innovative learning in the 21st century creates human resources who are literate in information, data, and technology which are needed to face the competition in life and the job market in the current and future globalization era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe learning management innovations at Tumpaan State Vocational School. This study uses qualitative research methods with reference to Creswell that qualitative research is research in which the form of data is in the form of words or interview results and not in the form of statistical calculations. Innovation in learning management at the Tumpaan State Vocational High School was carried out through instilling character education with a routine worship program which was carried out once a week. In carrying out innovations related to learning management at the Tumpaan State Vocational School, it focuses on management functions consisting of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. While at the implementation stage the scheduling of worship once a week is carried out by rotating the picket or person in charge of worship activities, supervision is carried out by monitoring the activities of teachers and students for one period to find out how far this program has been implemented and evaluation is carried out by scheduling students to practice leading worship both sermons and prayer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif CIRC. Model CIRC merupakan salah satu tipe dari model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan menggunakan kelompok-kelompok kecil dengan jumlah anggota tiap anggota 4 sampai 5 orang siswa secara heterogen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Tomohon yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu observasi guru, observasi siswa dan tes. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan rumus yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mendapat nilai rata-rata 60,83 dan pada siklus II mendapat nilai rata-rata 90,83 dan telah mencapai angka KKM. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC cocok digunakan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Tomohon.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh hasil analisis dan deskripsi yang jelas dan rinci tentang: 1. Guru sebagai perencana pembelajaran pada SMP Negeri I Kawangkoan di Kabupaten Minahasa 2. Guru sebagai pelaksana pembelajaran pada SMP Negeri I Kawangkoan di Kabupaten Minahasa 3. Guru sebagai penilai pembelajaran pada SMP Negeri I Kawangkoan di Kabupaten Minahasa. Menggunakan jenis penelitian yang tergolong studi kasus, pada awalnya melihat konteks permasalahan dalam latar penelitian yang luas kemudian terfokus dan menyempit pada kasus-kasus yang telah ditentukan yaitu berkenaan dengan permasalahan tentang guru sebagai manajer (Studi Kasus pada SMP Negeri I Langowan di Kabupaten Minahasa). Penelitian ini menurut rencana akan dilaksanakan pada SMP Negeri I Kawangkoan di Kabupaten Minahasa. Sekolah ini dipilih dengan alasan; berstatus sebagai sekolah penggerak yang ada di Kabupaten Minahasa, memiliki prestasi akademik dan non akademik (prestasi olahraga dan kesenian), kuantitas guru pengajar untuk semua mata pelajaran (39 guru), berpendidikan S1 (33 guru), S2 (6 guru), jumlah guru yang sudah disertifikasi (22 guru), pegawai tata usaha (2 pegawai), jumlah siswa tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 (492 siswa), serta jumlah rombongan belajar (18 rombongan belajar). Waktu penelitian akan dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih empat (4) bulan, terhitung sejak penyusunan proposal penelitian hingga perbaikan tesis (Mei-Agustus 2023). Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini menyangkut data tertulis maupun yang diamati bahkan yang berkaitan dengan guru sebagai manajer dalam pembelajaran pada SMP Negeri I Kawangkoan di Kabupaten Minahasa. Prosedur yang akan ditempuh dalam penelitian ini mengikuti produser yang dikemukakan oleh Nasution (2003:33) yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu (1) tahap orientasi, (2) tahap eksplorasi, (3) tahap member chek. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan hasil penelitian yang telah diuraikan mengenai guru sebagai manajer pembelajaran pada SMP Negeri 1 Kawangkoan dapat ditarik simpulan sebagai berikut: 1). Guru sebagai perencana pembelajaran. 2) Guru sebagai pelaksanan pembelajaran, 3). Guru sebagai penilai pembelajaran, juga berfungsi mengetahuai tingkat ketercapaian dan perkembangan hasil belajar murid.

Abstract

Sekolah-sekolah meningkatkan kualitas melalui berbagai proyek sekolah. Artikel ini menyajikan manajemen mutu total (Total Quality Management) dalam program Study Club di SMAN 1 Tomohon. TQM mengacu pada manfaat yang diperoleh oleh siswa, guru dan sekolah. Tulisan ini merupakan hasil dari metode campuran. Teknik yang digunakan berupa studi literatur, observasi, wawancara dan analisis data kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Study Club di sekolah tersebut terdiri dari 9 kelompok sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang ada di Olimpiade Sains Nasional. Tahapan dalam membangun program sebagai pembelajaran ekstra kurikuler meliputi perencanaan, perekrutan, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian. Dengan mempertimbangkan manajemen risiko, program ini telah memenuhi tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sekolah. Penerapan Total Quality Management di unit pendidikan memberikan hasil yang sangat baik dalam kemajuan kualitas sekolah. Indikator Kinerja Utama digunakan untuk mengukur desain proyek dan pencapaian tujuan.
