Abstract

Ibu yang pertama kali melahirkan biasanya menimbulkan perasaan cemas sehingga produksi ASI yang dihasilkan sedikit atau tidak keluar sama sekali pada 1-7 hari pasca melahirkan, sehingga ibu mencari alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bayi dengan memberikan susu formula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecemasan ibu primipara dengan pengeluaran ASI pada masa nifas 1-7 hari di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Pintu Angin Sibolga Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Pintu Angin Sibolga Utara pada bulan November-Desember tahun 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu nifas 1-7 hari di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Pintu Angin Sibolga Utara sebanyak 103 orang dan sampel sebanyak 51 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisa data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 51 ibu primipara sebagian besar mengalami kecemasan sedang sebanyak 23 responden (45,1%). Pengeluaran ASI pada masa nifas 1-7 hari sebagian besar tidak lancar sebanyak 32 responden (62,7%). Ada hubungan tingkat kecemasan ibu primipara dengan pengeluaran ASI pada masa nifas 1-7 hari dengan p-value  0,001 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan tingkat kecemasan ibu primipara dengan pengeluaran ASI pada masa nifas 1-7 hari di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Pintu Angin Sibolga Utara. Diharapkan penelitian ini memberikan informasi kesehatan dan pengetahuan tentang teknik nonfarmakologis yang efektif mengenai manajemen kecemasan agar kecemasan yang di alami ibu dapat berkurang sehingga pengeluaran ASI menjadi lebih lancar.

Abstract

Village Alert Cadres are at the forefront of early detection and response to health problems at the village level. Cadres' limited understanding of epidemiology concepts and risk reporting has weakened the early warning system. The objective of this activity was to increase the capacity of cadres in health risk mapping and case reporting based on basic epidemiological principles. The activity was implemented through training, risk mapping simulations, and practice in preparing case reports. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in cadres' understanding and skills after the training. It is hoped that this activity will serve as a replicable training model in other areas to strengthen community-based health systems.

Abstract

Extraordinary Events (KLB) are a serious threat to public health that require rapid and appropriate response. The active role of the community is crucial in early detection and response to outbreaks, particularly through a community epidemiology approach. This article discusses the implementation of a community epidemiology-based community empowerment program in outbreak-prone areas. Implementation methods included education, cadre training, outbreak response simulations, and citizen-based monitoring. Results showed increased community knowledge, community preparedness, and a reduction in delays in case reporting. The conclusion of this activity is that the community epidemiology approach is effective in building a community-based early detection and rapid response system.

Abstract

Traditional leaders play a crucial role in the social structure of remote communities, particularly in influencing social behavior and norms, including health behaviors. This study aims to analyze the role of traditional leaders in community health promotion in remote areas. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, health workers, and the community in District X. The results indicate that traditional leaders act as facilitators, messengers, and guardians of cultural values, increasing community awareness and acceptance of health programs. The active involvement of traditional leaders has been shown to increase the effectiveness of health promotion, particularly in immunization programs, environmental sanitation, and maternal and child care. It is concluded that integrating the role of traditional leaders into health promotion strategies can be an effective approach to improving community health status in remote areas.

Abstract

Cataracts are a cause of blindness which accounts for approximately half of all blindness in the world, especially in developing countries. The mechanism of cataract formation is highly multifactorial. Loss of transparency in the nucleus and cortex of the lens of the eye can occur as a result of oxidation of membrane lipids, structural or enzymatic proteins by peroxides or free radicals induced by UV light. Other factors that can cause cataract formation are degenerative processes and diabetes mellitus). Cataract therapy is a surgical procedure by removing the cloudy lens, because no medical therapy has been proven to remove cataracts in adults. There are many methods that can be done with surgery for cataract patients. One of them is phacoemulsification, which is a cataract surgery using a small incision method. In this technique, liquefaction of the lens is made using an ultrasound probe that is inserted through an incision in the cornea or anterior sclera. This study aims to determine the relationship between age and gender with the incidence of cataracts at the Eye Polyclinic Outpatient Installation in 2022. This is a retrospective analytic study by examining data in the Recamedics Department. The data is grouped by age, sex and type of cataracts. There were 197 patients who came to the eye polyclinic in July 2022. From the results of the study, 197 people suffered from cataracts with a percentage of 88 men (45%) and 109 women (55%) and the age group that suffered the most from cataracts was the age group 53-68 years and the most common cataracts were senile cataract. Analysis of the relationship between age and gender with the incidence of cataracts in the Outpatient Installation (Poly Eyes) for the period of July 2022 obtained a value for the relationship between age and the incidence of cataracts P = 0.846 and the relationship between sex and the incidence of cataracts P = 0.01. Conclusion: In this study there is a significant relationship between gender and the incidence of cataracts and there is no relationship between age and the incidence of cataracts.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) to describe group guidance services and their implementation for high school students in Palembang; and (2) produce a group guidance model based on the Character Values of Palembang Sultanate Darussalam for High School Students in Palembang. This study used a research and development (R & D) method and design with the following steps: (1) a preliminary study and data collection; (2) research planning; (3) hypothetical model design; (4) validation of the hypothetical model; (5) model revision; (6) the final model. This study involved 2 guidance and counseling experts as expert validators and 5 guidance and counseling teachers as practitioner validators. Based on the results of research and discussion, the conclusions of this study are: (1) Group guidance services for high school students in Palembang are carried out discussing disagreed topics when the implementation of group guidance has started, and have not yet discussed the topic of the character values ​​of Palembang figures, and (2) a model of group guidance based on the Character Values of Palembang Sultanate Darussalam for High School Students in Palembang. consists of 7 (seven) components, namely rational, vision and mission, objectives, group counseling content, system support, group counseling stages, evaluation and follow-up.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how students' financial literacy influences their financial behavior through their impact and perceptions in using paylater. This research is a quantitative research using data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to be further analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) – Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical test. The analysis results show that financial literacy has a positive but insignificant effect on financial behavior. Meanwhile, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on impact and perception. Furthermore, impact and perception are also found to have a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Finally, the effect of financial literacy on financial behavior is demonstrated through the impact and perception of financial use.paylater has a positive but not significant relationship. This study provides a new perspective by introducing the impact and perception of paylater use as a mediating variable. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing results successfully identified the complexity of the relationship between financial literacy and financial behavior, with the analysis concluding a positive but insignificant effect. The implications of this study imply that financial literacy is a fundamental factor that shapes how individuals act towards financial decisions. The results showing that the impact and perception of paylater use have a positive and significant influence on financial behavior indicate that impact and perception can act as mediating variables, indicating that to change financial behavior, it is important to first focus on how individuals process information and form their views about finances.

Abstract

Introduction: Paracetamol is the most commonly used analgesic drug in the general population, but it can cause hypersensitivity reactions in certain individuals. This case report describes the diagnosis of erythema multiforme due to hypersensitivity to paracetamol.Case Report: An 11-year-old girl presented to her parents with chief complaints of peeling, bleeding lips, erosive lesions, and pain on the lip commissure. Anamnesis revealed that the complaints had occurred for 5 days. The patient had no history of drug or food allergies. Clinical examination showed red erosion lesions, irregular diffuse border, rough texture, pain on the vermilion of both lips, and fissured lesions, irregular, with bleeding, on the commissure of labium extra. The clinical appearance was characterized as erythema multiforme and treated with triamcinolone acetonide, which gave a good response.Discussion: Reactions to paracetamol may be due to the paracetamol-specific IgE or T cells. Some cases have been reported of hypersensitivity to paracetamol, which causes similar symptoms and can be more severe, like Steven Johnson Syndrome (SJS). An allergy panel is needed to determine the exact hypersensitivity experienced by the patient to support recovery and prevent recurrence.Conclusion: Cases of Erythema multiforme due to paracetamol ingestion are rare. However, it is important to remember that adverse drug reactions may occur in certain individuals. Clinicians should be aware of such occurrences to take appropriate action.Keywords: Erythema Multiforme, Hypersensitivity, Paracetamol, Triamcinolone Acetonide

Abstract

Kulit manggis  yang kaya antioksidan  memiliki potensi yang besar untuk diolah menjadi produk bernilai tinggi, akan tetapi barang ini seringkali dianggap limbah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan pengolahan kulit manggis sebagai upaya meningkatkan nilai ekonomisnya. Kegiatan ini melibatkan masyarakat PKK Baji Dakka, khususnya kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda, dengan harapan dapat memberikan pengetahuan baru serta keterampilan yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Metode FGD (Fokus Group Discussion) yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu penyuluhan mengenai manfaat kulit manggis, demonstrasi cara pengolahan, serta pelatihan pembuatan produk olahan kulit manggis. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kulit manggis dapat diolah dengan berbagai macam produk, diantaranya minuman teh, jus,infus water, wedan, permen, snack, cream kecantikan, dan masker.  Mencapai 85% masyarakat yang hadir menyatakan antusiasnya dan tertarik untuk memanfaatkan kulit manggis sebagai sumber penghasilan tambahan. Berkisar 10% diantara mereka sudah mengetahui beberapa produk olahan kulit manggis. Dengan langkah-langkah lanjutan dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, diharapkan pengolahan kulit manggis dapat menjadi usaha yang berkelanjutan dan memberikan manfaat ekonomi yang nyata bagi masyarakat setempat. Selain itu diperlukan pendampingan untuk menginisiasi terbentuknya bidang usaha mandiri masyarakat atau home industry.

Abstract

When there is an ankle sprain injury the athlete has decreased functional ability and decreased instability of the ankle joint. One of the actions used to reduce the risk of injury and increase the performance of athletes is by providing a Neuromuscular Training Program (NMT). This study to prove the effect of the provision of the Neuromuscular Training Program on the functional performance. This study used a Randomized Pre Test and Post Test Group Design study design. Respondents of this study were male soccer athletes, amounting to 18 athletes who met the inclusion criteria, then divided into 2 groups randomly, each group consisted of 9 respondents. The study showed that there were differences in improvement in functional performance after the administration of the Neuromuscular Training Program in male soccer athletes with a history of ankle sprain. In the treatment group shows the results of functional performance (SLHT) with a value of p = 0,000 indicates a significant effect. Then the results of subjective functional performance measurements using Cumberland Ankle and Instability Tools (CAIT) in the treatment group showed the results of functional performance (CAIT) with a value of p = 0.005. From the results of the study that there were differences and improves in functional performance after the administration of the Neuromuscular Training Program in male soccer athletes with a history of ankle sprain.
