Abstract

This study intends to describe the impact of multicultural education in Social Studies Learning of junior high school. This type of research is qualitative with the method descriptive. The subject of this research is the component (Teacher and students) Middle-School 6 Sidoarjo. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion shows that Multicultural education in practice for social studies education learning in the classroom runs smoothly and students can be carefully conditioned to have an effect and have an impact, among others: Be tolerant in accepting all differences, because the difference is God's grace, does not discriminate (discriminate) friends who different beliefs, do not force others in terms of beliefs (religion), give freedom to others to choose beliefs (religion), do not interfere with other people with different beliefs when they worship, keep on interacting and behaving well with people who have different beliefs in worldly matters, respect others who are worshiping, do not hate and hurt the feelings of someone who has different beliefs or opinions from us. It is hoped that these forms of tolerance will bring positive energy which will not trigger disputes or quarrels between students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguasaan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi (TIK) bagi guru sekolah dasar merupakan sebuah keniscayaan dalam mendukung pelaksanaan tugasnya. Pemanfaatan teknologi harus dapat diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi guru SD Muhammadiyah Manyar dikorelasikan dengan umur serta latar belakang pendidikan, Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket. Level kompetensi TIK yang ditentukan dalam peneilitian ini dasar, menengah, dan mahir, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kompetensi guru SD Muhammadiyah Manyar level dasar 4%, level menengah 82%, dan level mahir 14%. Berdasarkan umur golongan guru muda antara 20-34 tahun level dasar 0%, level menengah 93%, dan level mahir 7%, sedangkan golongan guru senior antara 35-60 tahun level dasar 13%, level menengah 69%, dan level mahir 19%. Berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan digolongkan menjadi tiga yakni Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) level dasar 0%, level menengah 75%, dan level mahir 25%. Matematika/IPA (MIPA) level dasar 0%, level menengah 79%, dan level mahir 21%. IPS level dasar 29%, level menengah 71%, dan level mahir 0%, dan Bahasa levenya 100% menengah. Secara umum umur dan latar belakang pendidikan mempunyai korelasi dengan kompetensi  guru dalam penguasaan dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi (TIK).Kata kunci: Kompetensi Guru, Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi, Sekolah Dasar Abstract: Mastery of Information Communication Technology (ICT) for elementary school teachers is a necessity in supporting the implementation of their duties. The use of technology must be integrated in learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the competence of SD Muhammadiyah Manyar teachers to be correlated with age and educational background. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Collecting data through observation and questionnaires. The level of ICT competency determined in this study is basic, intermediate, and proficient. The results of the study indicate that in general the competency of elementary school teachers in Muhammadiyah Manyar is 4% basic, 82% intermediate and 14% advanced. Based on the age of the young teacher group between 20-34 years old, the basic level is 0%, the intermediate level is 93%, and the advanced level is 7%, while the senior teacher group is between 35-65 years old at the basic level of 13%, the middle level is 69%, and the advanced level is 19% . Based on the educational background, it is classified into three, namely Islamic Religion Teachers at the basic level is 0%, intermediate level is 75%, and advanced level is 25%. Mathematics Sciences teacher, 0% basic level, 79% intermediate level, and 21% advanced level. Social teacher for basic level is 29%, middle level is 71%, and advanced level is 0%, and for Bahasa teacher is 100% intermediate. In general, age and educational background have a correlation with teacher competence in mastering and utilizing learning media based on Information Communication Technology (ICT).Keywords: Teacher Competence, Information and Communication Technology, Elementary School

Abstract

Character development and intellectual enhancement of students were important and prioritized in the national education system in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to explain and find out the results of implementation the Strengthening of Character Education (SCE) through social studies learning and school culture at Junior High School Sunan Giri Menganti Gresik. This research was qualitative research based on a case study. The research was conducted in September-December 2020 with the subjects were school principals, vice principals in curriculum, social studies teachers, and school members. Data collection techniques was interviews, documentation, field notes, and observations. Data analysis used three methods, there were data reduction, presentation of data results, and conclusions. The results showed that implementation the SCE at Junior High School Sunan Giri Menganti in social studies learning written in the RPP based on the 2013 Curriculum reference and in school culture through classroom management, Islamic culture, mutual cooperation and discipline, home visit, National Day Celebration, and Islamic Day Celebration.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the development of digital IPS teaching materials that can be used to improve critical thinking skills during a pandemic. With a focus on, 1) How is(X) the application of digital teaching materials in learning, (2) How do(X) students respond to teaching materials, and (3) How are(X) the effectiveness of teaching materials. The Data were collected by observation, interviews, and tests. The research location was located at one of the junior high schools in the city of Surabaya. The effectiveness test used Mann Whitney in the control class (not using the developed teaching materials) and the experiment (using the developed teaching materials). The results of the study show; 1) Social studies learning is more optimally carried out asynchronously, (2) The students’ response to teaching materials is positive, and (3) the results of the difference test between the control and experimental classes show a difference. In the control class, the critical thinking ability tends to be constant and the answers to the test results are homogeneous and textbook, while in the experimental class it shows an increase in critical thinking skills and the answers to the test results vary according to the environment of each students.

Abstract

Prevention of criminal acts of sexual abuse of minors in the sub-district of Wagom, Fakfak district, the important role of bhabinkamtibmas is to prevent criminal acts of obscenity so that chaos does not occur, because parents of children as victims may not accept anything that happens in obscene acts against their children. For this reason, a research was carried out with the role of bhabinkamtibmas in preventing criminal acts of sexual abuse of minors in the Wagom sub-district, Fakfak district and the obstacles of bhabinkamtibmas in handling the prevention of criminal cases of obscenity in the Wagom sub-district area.  Research is a basic tool in the development of science and technology that aims to reveal the truth systematically, the type of research used by the author with an empirical juridical approach is a research in addition to looking at the positive legal aspects as well as looking at its application or practice in the field. The type of data used in a legal research is focused on secondary and primary data research, primary data is obtained directly from the community through interviews, secondary data is obtained from or comes from library materials. The data obtained from both field studies and document studies were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, then deductive conclusions were drawn from general to specific matters.  From the results of the study, the authors found that the role of bhabinkamtibmas in preventing criminal acts of sexual abuse of minors in the Wagom sub-district, Fakfak district, must be able to guarantee a sense of security to the community, especially to minors. As it is known that Fakfak Regency is also an area that is quite prone to criminal acts of obscenity against minors. Handling of child molestation is carried out in two ways, namely repressive efforts and preventive efforts. the applicable law, so that it can be subject to sanctions in the form of criminal sanctions and the obstacles faced by Bhabinkamtibmas, Wagom Sub-district Police Fakfak in preventing criminal acts of sexual abuse by minors, are influenced by several things, including: the lack of facilities and infrastructure, the level of legal awareness of the community which is still very low. low, low participation from the community to jointly supervise children under age.

Abstract

This research aims to develop differentiated teaching modules combined with the project-based learning model to increase students' activeness and creativity in participating in history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Gondang Bojonegoro in the chapter on the Hindu-Buddhist maritime kingdoms in Indonesia. The teaching modules developed will be validated by several experts. The results of this research were that the validation value from material experts obtained a percentage of 82.53% with very appropriate criteria, the validation value from media experts was 78.37% so this teaching module was declared valid. Plus, results the attractiveness test from educators obtained a percentage of 86.80% and from students 88.25% so this teaching module was declared attractive. Based on these results, the differentiated teaching module can be declared suitable for use.

Abstract

Salah bandara yang sangat padat di Jawa Timur adalah Juanda. Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda berada satu di kecamatan Sedati, kabupaten Sidoarjo. Jumlah penumpang di Ba dara Juanda tahun 5n pada 201 mencapai 12 juta penumpang. Untuk itu diperlukan alternatif pengganti Juanda pada masa yang akan datang. Berdasarkan atas hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan (1) Telah ada aturan dapat mendukung Pembentukan Badan Pengelola Bandara Udara sebagai Pengganti Bandara Juanda ondisi lokasi alternatif sebagai Pengganti Bandara , (2) K Juanda saat ini Pengganti Bandara Juanda , yang paling siap adalah Lamongan, (3) yang paling banyak potensi dan peluangnya yaitu Sidoarjo dan Lamongan, (4) pModel pembentukan Badan Pengelola sebagai enggantiBandara Juanda terbaik yang adalah Badan Usaha Milik Daerah. Rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan adalah (1) RTRW Provinsi Tahun 2011-2031 perlu segera diwujudkan dalam RTRW kabupaten/kota yang dijadikan sebagai lokasi pengembangan bandara, (3) Pemerintah Provinsi perlu mengambil peran yang lebih banyak dalam pengelolaan bandara agar dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih signifikan dalam pembangunan.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran interaktif merupakan perangkat lunak yang tersusun dari multimedia seperti teks, gambar, animasi, video. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Maribe Branch (2009) yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket penilaian kelayakan media. Subjek ujicoba yang terlibat adalah satu ahli materi, satu ahli media pembelajaran, guru PPKn dan 40 siswa kelas X-1 di SMA Negeri 1 Tambakboyo Tuban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 4,7% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, ahli media pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai 4,0% yang termasuk dalam kategori ”layak” , guru PPKn SMA Negeri 1 Tambakboyo Tuban mendapatkan nilai 4,75% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak” dan dari 40 siswa kelas X-1 mendapatkan hasil respon positif dengan presentase yang diperoleh 97,5%.

Abstract

Citizenship is an issue that will remain as long as there is an institution called the state. Therefore, citizenship problems will always exist as long as the concept of the state still exists. Citizenship Education (PKn) is one way to overcome or reduce citizenship problems. So, junior high schools (SMP) make citizenship a mandatory curriculum content. This research aims to analyze current Civics and future Civics using SWOT analysis. For this reason, a qualitative approach was used with the literature review method. As a result, 23 studies based on the criteria were selected as data sources. Several themes emerge regarding Civics currently, namely 1) citizenship education in a Merdeka curriculum, 2) problems of citizenship education, and 3) solutions to problems of citizenship education. Meanwhile, the subject of citizenship education will be discussed in the future. However, although it has advantages and opportunities, it still has shortcomings and challenges ranging from less interesting learning, lack of teacher competence, current developments, radicalism, even misinformation (hoaxes), shortcomings, opportunities, and challenges in teaching citizenship to middle school students. Therefore, there is a need for tactical strategies to optimize opportunities and reduce obstacles and challenges for civics at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study proposes the comprehensive implementation of civic and moral education programs and the impact of promoting sustainable democracy. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study focused on educators, high school students, and young people who were strategically selected through purposive sampling. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews, while secondary data sources were literature studies related to curriculum and school policies. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews with a semi-structured format through open questions. The data obtained was translated and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that comprehensive civic and moral education programs contribute to promoting democratic values and attitudes among youth. Instilling democratic values to increase youth participation and awareness in Cambodia requires steps including teacher training, curriculum changes, interactive learning, open political workings, and involving the community. Teaching better civic and moral education can help in maintaining democracy and the involvement of young people.
