Abstract

Garap music of Wanara Parisuka in Goa Kreo Attraction of Semarang City in the form of collaboration between gendhing-gendhing Java and kentongan music with various rhythmic playing pattern interesting to be studied. The problem discussed is how to garap music Wanara Parisuka Dance. The purpose of this research is to know, explain vocabulary gendhing and garap music of Wanara Parisuka Dance. The research used qualitative descriptive approach. The results show that the vocabulary gendhing used in the dance is in the form lancaran, namely: Lancaran Kotekan and the Wanara Parisuka. The first time was used as a material to support the dance part that was exhibited by the children, while the second was for the material to work on adult dance music. The two lancaran of the pelog nem are presented collaboratively using Javanes gamelan and kentongan devices repeatedly according to the pattern of dance moves in a lancar rhythm. Kendang plays the patterns of the game following the pattern of motion of dance, consisting of nine patterns namely: budalan mangkat, sabetan, joget muter, jogetan menggaruk, dolanan, loncat ulap, lampah tigo, megot, and budalan mulih. Abstract

Music art activities can be done by anyone, ranging from children to the elderly. It can be a group or a community which in the art process has a process of social interaction. How music is used as a means of interaction in the activities of art. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Technique of collecting data by observation, interview and study of documentation with technique of data validity used triangulation data. The results showed that in an artistic activity has a pattern of interaction vertically and horizontally. Patterns of interaction vertically and horizontally can be seen in the interaction between the PWRI board and members, the chairman of the keroncong grup to members and trainers to the members. But in the relationship between the musical instrument players in this group, the pattern of communication is more dominated by vertical communication patterns. Mean while the interaction between the singers, the pattern of communication that occurs more dominated is horizontally communication. Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that in the art activities within this group, the interaction can be divided into two kinds. The interaction forms a communication pattern that is horizontal communication and vertical communication which happen between the involved actors.

Abstract

SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul merupakan sekolah menengah kejuruan yang mempelajari ilmu tentang musik. Instrumen Trombone merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran pokok yang harus ditempuh siswa SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul sebagai syarat kelulusan. Permasalahan yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kegiatan pembelajaran instrumen trombone di SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan pembelajaran instrumen trombone di SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari Penelitian ini yaitu kegiatan pembelajaran trombone di SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul terdiri atas empat komponen yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran guru mempersiapkan RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) sebagai sebagai pedoman pembelajaran trombone di SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul. Pada proses pembelajaran terdiri atas tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pemanasan, dan pemberian materi pembelajaran. Pada metode pembelajaran trombone di SMK N 2 Kasihan Bantul guru menggunakan metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, metode berlatih dan metode penugasan. Untuk evaluasi dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu evaluasi secara lisan kepada siswa setiap kali pertemuan akan diakhiri, evaluasi pada saat UTS dengan bentuk unjuk kerja dan penilaian, dan pada saat UAS dengan bentuk unjuk kerja dan penilaian.

Abstract

Angklung learning strategies in SMP Negeri 13 Cirebon are very unique, teachers use not in accordance with their learning. The problem discussed in this paper is how the strategies are used by the trainer and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses qualitative. The target of this research is angklung extracurricular learning strategy in SMP Negeri 13 Kota Cirebon. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation techniques. The results showed that: (1) The trainer used a direct learning strategy; (2) supporting factors are facilities provided; (3) inhibiting factors, namely extracurricular schedules that collide with other extracurricular schedules. The strategy used is a direct learning strategy. students are more focused on the teacher with several methods, namely lectures, demonstrations, and drills. The media used are angklung instruments, keyboards, laptops, amps, and blackboards.

Abstract

Orkes Keroncong  Harmoni adalah salah satu grup Orkes Keroncong yang dalam permainan cellonya ada kemiripan dengan permainan kendang Jawa, bahkan ritmis sekaligus  pola permainannya sangat mirip dengan pola permainan kendang jawa. Rumusan masalah yang muncul dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah improvisasi permainan cello dalam irama jenis  langgam Jawa pada Orkes Keroncong Harmoni di Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan improvisasi instrumen cello dalam jenis musik keroncong langgam Jawa pada Orkes Keroncong Harmoni. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola improvisasi permainan instumen cello keroncong dalam irama jenis langgam Jawa grup Orkes Keroncong Harmoni Semarang banyak kemiripan dengan pola permainan instrumen kendang pada musik karawitan. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa permainan cello dari Orkes Keroncong Harmoni sudah tidak diragukan lagi kemampuannya karena pola permainan cello pada irama jenis langgam Jawa tergolong sulit dimainkan.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Keroncong orchestra Harmony is one group that Keroncong Orchestra cello in the game there are similarities with the Javanese drums game, even the rhythmic pattern of the game at the same time very similar to the game played drums Java. The problems that arise from this research is how improvisation in rhythm type games cello in orchestra Keroncong Java style harmony in Semarang. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the types of improvised music instrument cello in the orchestra keroncong Java style Keroncong Harmony. This research method using Qualitative Research Methods. The results showed that the patterns of improvised games keroncong cello instrument in the rhythm kind of Java style harmony group Keroncong Orchestra Semarang many similarities with the game played on musical instruments drums musical. So it can be concluded that the game Keroncong orchestra cello from Harmony has no doubt his abilities as the game played on the cello rhythm types Java style quite hard to play.

Abstract

The choir at SMP Negeri 1 Kudus is one of the extracurricular activities engaged in music. The obstacle faced by the choir members of SMP Negeri 1 Kudus is notation reading. The application of solfeggio ear training method is used by the instructors as a choir learning method in SMP Negeri 1 Kudus. The purpose of writing this study is to train the sensitivity of choir members in guessing the tone and reading the notation. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. Extracurricular teachers use steps in applying the method of solfeggio ear training on choir learning. The first step is to observe the members and give the song material. The second step, the instructors use imitating method (imitation) by writing song notation and applying it. The final step is to try by singing and changing the basic tone to train the member's sensitivity in guessing the tone.

Abstract

The regeneration of players, singers, and keroncong orchestra groups is happening in various regions in Indonesia until now. This condition indicates the process of inheritance of keroncong music between generations continue. This also happened in Bumijawa, Tegal Regency, which has the O.K Waseso. The problem discussed in this paper is how to preserve keroncong music carried out by O.K Waseso in Bumijawa, Tegal Regency. The research was conducted with qualitative methods. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity techniques were carried out by triangulation, and interactive model analysis. The results showed that the conservation efforts carried out by O.K Waseso for keroncong music were depicted through three activities, namely the protection, development, and utilization of keroncong music.
