Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of burnout on increasing intelligence and self-efficacy as a mediator. In this study, what functions as the variable used is burnout, and emotional intelligence and self-efficacy variables as mediating variables, while job performance variables as variables are brought. The population in this study published all Special School Teachers (SLB) in Ternate City and obtained a total sample of 62 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is path analysis with the help of the SPSS application. From the results of hypothesis testing conducted, it was found that burnout has a negative and significant effect on performance, burnout has a negative and significant effect on emotional intelligence, burnout has a negative and significant effect on self-efficacy, positive emotional intelligence and a significant effect on performance, self-efficacy, positive and significant to performance, and emotional intelligence and self-efficacy variables are able to mediate the effect of burnout on performance

Abstract

Lack of knowledge about local wisdom and national identity is one of the causes of the emergence of problems of moral and character decline experienced by most of the young generation today. One of the ways that teachers do in instilling student character is by applying local wisdom-based learning. The obstacle that is often experienced by junior high school science teachers in Ternate City in learning is the difficulty of integrating local wisdom into the material to be taught to students, as a solution to raise the local potential of an area, teachers are required to always innovate to be able to design learning based on local wisdom. Ternate has a variety of local wisdom potentials that can be used as learning resources by designing learning scenarios based on Ternate local wisdom, one of which is by mapping basic competencies to ensure the suitability of subject matter to be integrated with local wisdom objects. The integration of local wisdom in learning is done by making local wisdom a context for discovering scientific concepts. The stages in designing learning are identifying the potential of local wisdom, analyzing scientific concepts contained in local wisdom objects, mapping Basic Competencies and local wisdom, designing learning scenarios and designing teaching materials in the context of local wisdom

Abstract

Parrots include in birds of Aves class and Psittaciformes order. In Indonesia, parrots in known by their local species names such as Nuri (true parrot), Kakatua (Cockatoo), and Perkici (Loriini). Parrots can be found almost in all type of habitat in Halmahera Island, Maluku Utara Province, from mangrove forest to tropical rainforest in lowlands and highlands in Halmahera Island. The research aims to describe community activities in the exploitation of parrots around the Aketajawe Lolobata National Park, Halmahera Island. The study uses the ex-post facto method with the questionnaire as the instrument to interview the communities consist of the catcher, seller, and owner of parrots. Research result data is analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and charts. The result shows that there are five kinds of parrots that are caught, sold, and raised by the communities of Gitaraja, Bale, Koli, and Kosa Village. The exploited birds are Kasturi Ternate (Lorius garrulus) Nuri Kalung Ungu (Eos scuamata), Nuri Bayan (Eclectus roratus), Kakatua Putih (Cacatua alba) and Kakatua Jambul Kuning (Cacatua galerita). The number of parrots being caught during 2013-2016 is 327, 320 are sold, and 213 are raised. The highest percentage of parrot catching and selling is 21% in 2013, and the lowest is 2% in 2016-2018. The highest percentage of raising is 8% in 2015, and the lowest is 3% in 2018. Kasturi Ternate (Lorius garrulus) is the species with the highest rate of exploitation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Musaenda dan Asoka merupakan salah satu tanaman hostplant dan sekaligus foodplant bagi kupu-kupu di Gunung Sibela. Hostplant adalah tumbuhan inang yang menjadi makanan larva dan foodplant adalah tumbuhan yang menjadi makanan kupu-kupu dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kupu-kupu yang mengunjungi tanaman mussaenda dan asoka di kawasan cagar alam gunung Sibela pulau Bacan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah direct sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi dataran rendah (20 mdpl) ditemukan 10 spesies kupu-kupu pengunjung tanaman mussaenda dan asoka, 5 genus, 2 famili. Kupu-kupu pengunjung tanaman mussaenda di dataran rendah yaitu: Ornithopthera croesus, Papilio ulysses, Papilio deiphobus, Papilio lorquinianus gelia, Troides hypolitus, Troides criton, Graphium milon, Graphium codrus dan Hebomoia glaucippe sulphure. Kupu-kupu pengunjung tanaman asoka di dataran rendah yaitu: Ornithopthera croesus, Papilio ulysses, Papilio fuscus lapathus dan Troides hypolitus. Pada lokasi dataran tinggi (400 mdpl) ditemukan 9 spesies kupu-kupu pengunjung tanaman mussaenda dan asoka, 5 genus, 2 famili. Kupu-kupu pengunjung tanaman mussaenda di dataran tinggi yaitu: Ornithopthera croesus, Papilio ulysses, Papilio deiphobus, Papilio lorquinianus gelia, Troides hypolitus, Troides criton, Graphium milon, dan Hebomoia glaucippe sulphurea, sedangkan kupu-kupu pengunjung tanaman asoka di dataran tinggi yaitu: Papilio ulysses, Papilio fuscus lapathus dan Troides hypolitus.Kata Kunci: mussaenda, asoka, kupu-kupu, pulau BacanAbstract : Musaenda and Asoka are one of the hostplant plants and also a foodplant for butterflies on Mount Sibela. Abstract

Efforts to prevent viral infection are a shared responsibility of all Indonesian citizens, including academics. Prevention starts from keeping a distance, wearing a mask, and washing hands. Another alternative to washing hands is to use a hand sanitizer. This community service activity program aims to educate and assist the community in preventing infection with the Covid-19 virus based on local culture through assisting students in making hand sanitizers made from local products, namely clove flower stem extract, and distributing them to the community. The methods used in this activity are production, product distribution, and education (lectures). The team will distribute the product to the Khairun University campus area and six schools in Ternate city. This community service program's result is 300 bottles of clove flower stalk extract and distributed to the public. In general, the community's response to the hand sanitizer product from clove flower stalk extract is that the public is enthusiastic and has good comments on this hand sanitizer product.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan peningkatan hasil belajar dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Biologi Universitas Serambi Mekkah Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Semester tiga Prodi Biologi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018terhadap 19 mahasiswa.Analisis data eksperimen untuk mengukur hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan uji-t (Independent Sample t-test) danketerampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan analisis deskripsi persentase, program statistic software computer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan nilai rata-rata N-gain untuk kelas Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM) adalah 60,64 (sedang) dan kelas konvensional adalah 48,72 (sedang). Hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 4,61 dan ttabel 2,009 sehingga t-hitung> t-tabel. Hasil penyebaran angket tentang keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 95% (kategori sangat baik).Maka dapat disimpulkan diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap peningkatanhasil belajar dan hubungan yang rendah denganketerampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Zoologi Invertebrata di Universitas Serambi Mekkah Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Dalam penerapan model SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) perlu penguasaan konsep belajar siswa yang baik pada materi struktur hewan dengan menggunakan media teknologi pembelajaran di SMP Negeri Kota Makasar. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas VII (40 orang siswa) dibagi atas dua rombel yakni satu kelas untuk uji coba diajarkan dengan model SQ3R dan rombel satu lagi untuk kontrol, menggunakan model mengajar konvensional. Dalam kajian ini kami menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa RPP guru, LKPD siswa, Silabus, soal tes, dan video dokumen mengajar. Cara pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pedoman perhitungan Normalized gain (N-Gain), dengan rumus “uji-t” karena ingin melihat ada perbedaan Dari hasil pengolahan data didapati adanya perbedaan yang positif antara penggunaan model SQ3R dan konvensional terhadap kemampuan penguasaan konsep siswa dalam materi struktur hewan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada nilai rata-rata pada kelas uji coba mencapai 77,75 dengan nilai N-gain 0,56 (untuk nilai sedang) sedangkan pada kelas kontrol ialah 65,10 dengan nilai N-gain 0,38 (kriteria sedang) Sedangkan pada hasil uji t- diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 3,48 dan t tabel 1,66 sehingga t hitung>t tabel. Nilai rata-rata dalam aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran sudah dilakukan dengan sangat baik atau dapat diikuti secara keseluruhan. Oleh sebab itu kami menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model SQ3R dengan menggunakan teknologi belajar besar pengaruhnya terhadap siswa SMP Negeri Kota Makasar terutama dalam penguasaan konsep struktur hewan.

Abstract

Madrasah educational institutions in addition to teaching subjects related to Islamic religious knowledge, also teach general science subjects. Both subjects are taught partially. This kind of learning process causes the erosion of Islamic characteristics as the main feature of madrasas. Efforts to integrate religious knowledge into general knowledge in the learning process in madrasas have become a hot issue in several countries. The realization of integrative learning requires the main supporting component, namely teaching materials. The teaching material that most determines how a learning process is carried out is lesson plans. This article was written to convey ideas about the preparation of an integrative lesson plan for general science and religious science. This idea was proposed as an effort to overcome the obstacles in integrating religious knowledge during the general science learning process in madrasas. Learning objectives are the most crucial element in integrative lesson plans. The development of learning objectives formulated in the curriculum is carried out by incorporating religious knowledge and or moral values that are in accordance with the related general science material. The next essential elements of RPP that must be integrated into religious knowledge are learning materials, learning activities, learning resources, and assessment of learning outcomes. The integration of religious knowledge in the five essential components of the lesson plan is believed to be able to realize learning designs with Islamic characteristics.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process is an interaction between teachers and students through reciprocal communication that takes place in an effective situation to achieve learning objectives. Entering a decade of the 21st century, the development of information and communication technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 has had a significant influence on learning that must adapt and use technology in the current era, many application-based learning technologies in the field of education can be utilized by teachers as media. or tools in learning to support the teaching and learning process. The aims of this research are to determine the effect of the Reading questioning and answering learning model assisted by the Kipin School application on cognitive learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The sample of this study consisted of two classes, namely class VIIc as the experimental class and class VIIa as the control class with a total of 57 students. The instruments used tests to measure cognitive learning outcomes. Data analysis used the SPSS-assisted normality and homogeneity test, while the hypothesis test used anacova test and regression test. The results showed that  there was an effect of the Reading questioning and answering learning model assisted by the Kipin School application on learning outcomes. cognitive, namely with a significant value level of 0.001 0.05 .
