Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada Madrasah Aliyah Waikyon Kec. Pulau Makian terlihat masih sangat rendah. Ditandai dengan nilai siswa yang masih jauh dari standar KKM yang ditentukan Sekolah. Oleh karena itu penelitian terkait metode pembelajaran yang cocok untuk diaplikasikan di sekolah menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas melalui dua siklus. Dengan subejek penelitian berjumlah 25 orang. Adapun jenis instrument yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskripstif kualitatif. Alhasil, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan guru maupun dari segi ketuntasan belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Word Square pada materi siklus hidrologi.

This research is important to be carried out in the Basic Teaching Ability course in the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Unkhair because this course is one of the cores that support a graduate to become a prospective biology teacher. The purpose of this research is to produce case-oriented teaching materials to improve the 21st century skills of students in the Basic Teaching Skills course. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. The results showed that the results of the validation of the syllabus on the content aspect presented had a validation level of 95.33, the category was very valid, the discussion aspect had a validation level of 98.00 and the time aspect obtained was 98.00. It can be concluded that the three aspects are considered very good and suitable for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 97.11. Furthermore, at the evaluation stage, a limited test was conducted to determine the effectiveness of using case-oriented teaching materials to improve students' 21st century skills. The trial was conducted on second semester students of the Khairun University biology education study program. The test results show that there is an increase in the 21st century skills of students after learning by using case-oriented teaching materials

The purpose of this study was to obtain initial information about the perception and knowledge of IT Literacy as well as a profile of the basic knowledge of elementary and MI teachers throughout Ternate about IT literacy. This study uses a survey research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews on a predetermined sample of 25 schools and madrasah with a sample of teachers who were determined randomly. The data is calculated based on the number of checklists filled in by the respondents, then a percentage is used to determine the level of perception of each teacher. The results showed that the highest ability of teachers to operate Microsoft Office was in elementary schools located in the central and northern areas of Ternate City, which were 58% and 50% respectively. Meanwhile, the average IT support skills for elementary school teachers have not met the standard, which is <50%. The basic literacy ability of IT teachers is also relatively low, at 56%. The researcher's recommendation is that it is necessary to conduct IT training for elementary school teachers in 4 sub-districts of the city of Ternate, and continuous assistance so that the learning process becomes quality and student learning outcomes are further improved

The purpose of this study was to examine and determine the improvement of metacognitive ability and Self Efficacy of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Ternate City in science subjects. This type of research uses an experimental method, namely research that is used to see a treatment and compare it. The results of this research show that metacognition in experimental class students has increased by an average of 71.75%, while metacognition in the control class is 55.65 then the Self Efficacy of experimental class students has increased by 63.12% while Self Efficacy in the control class is 60 ,28% This shows that the metacognition and Self Efficacy of the experimental class students is higher than the students' metacognition and Self Efficacy. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Discovery Learning on students' metacognitive abilities and Self Efficacy. In addition, the results of this study also show that there is a significant relationship between metacognitive ability and Self Efficacy if given the Discovery Learnin treatment.

Education in Indonesia is currently still in the developing stage so it is necessary to improve the quality of education so that the Indonesian nation can develop in a better direction. So improving the quality of learning at a level of education is very important in order to give birth to the next generation who excel. An effective learning process will make student achievement more meaningful and meaningful. However, students in the online learning process get high scores but when tested at school there is a decrease in student achievement scores. So there are several factors that can affect student achievement including online learning, learning motivation and parental support. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of learning achievement from these factors. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with a research model using Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). The results show that online learning has no significant effect on student achievement, parental support has a negative and significant effect on student achievement in MTs and the third hypothesis with parental support as a moderating variable is able to strengthen which results in a positive effect of online learning on student achievement in MTs. . Negeri 3 Tidore City of Tidore Islands. For parents and guardians of students to pay attention to providing support to students. The support provided must still pay attention to the independence of students in doing each task given by the teacher.

The video guided inquiry learning model is a series of learning activities that aim to help students improve their critical thinking skills by asking questions and getting answers on the basis of student curiosity after viewing or watching the provided learning videos. This study aims to determine the effect of the video-assisted guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking skills in the material of the respiratory system for class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Halmahera Utara. This research is a Quasi Experiment. The research population was all students at SMP Negeri 9 Halmahera Utara for the 2021/2022 Academic Year with a sample of 22 students in class VIII-A and 20 students in VIII-B. Research was conducted in February 2021/2022. The instrument is a matter of critical thinking ability test. Research data were analyzed by covariance test (Anakova). The results showed that there was an effect of the video-assisted guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking skills of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 9 North Halmahera with a significant level of 0.048.

The cause of learning problems in madrasas is the dualism between religious science and general science. This learning practice produces graduates who are not balanced between intellectual and spiritual aspects. The integration of Islamic values during the learning process is expected to be a solution to the dualism of learning. The purpose of this community service activity (PKM) in the form of training and mentoring is to provide knowledge and improve the competence of MTs Sahabat Cendikia teachers as partner schools to develop an integrated assessment instrument for Islamic values that is equipped with its rubric. The methods used are lectures, participatory training and assignments. The subjects involved were 18 teachers of MTs SC in Ternate. Process data and activity results were analyzed descriptively. The results of the PKM activity data analysis showed that the teacher's response to this activity was very good, this was indicated by the high level of participation of participants in attendance as much as 100%, completing and presenting the task of preparing an integrated assessment instrument for Islamic values with good value of 88.9%. Thus, it can be concluded that community service activities through this training and mentoring can solve the problems experienced by partners.

If students are interested in the subjects they are studying, they will understand the concept of biology that is being taught. Students' interest in learning is thought to be influenced by the use of instructional media, such as powerpoint-based subject matter. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether class X students at SMAN 4 Ternate City are interested in studying biology. A questionnaire with 30 statement items that students filled out on a Google form is used in this type of research. Students' enjoyment, interest, and involvement in biology are all identified as indicators of interest in the questionnaire. The foundation of data analysis is the process of interpreting each student's questionnaire scores into very good, good, poor, and not good categories. The results of the study revealed that indicators of student enjoyment were 65.82 percent, student interest was 71.53 percent, attention was 72.21 percent, and involvement was 78.30 percent. According to the findings of this study, 71.97% of students have a moderate level of interest when using powerpoint media to participate in biology lessons. When the teacher shows and displays PowerPoint media and there are certain parts of the material that students do not understand, students will attempt to read repeatedly on biology material on PowerPoint media and ask the teacher if they do not. This is one of the very best indicators of student involvement in biology learning.

This study aims to 1). find out the ability of school principals to develop programs to improve teacher performance; 2) knowing the ability of the Principal in Carrying Out Activities to Improve Teacher Performance; and 3) knowing the ability of the Principal in Conducting Evaluations to Improve Teacher Performance. This study uses a descriptive method, namely a qualitative approach by uncovering certain social situations that describe reality correctly, formed by words based on relevant data collection and analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the principal has the ability to develop programs, carry out activities and carry out evaluations to improve teacher performance at SD Negeri 50 Kota Ternate.

The Biochemistry course is a basic and compulsory subject for Biology Education students. This study aims to determine students' level of participation and problem-solving skills through the ability to solve cases of Biomolecules and proteins on Student Worksheets (LKM). This is an Action Research integrated with lesson study with two cycles. The instruments used were student participation rubrics in the case method and LKM problem-solving skills in the Biochemistry course. The subjects in this study were 24 third-semester students of the Biology Education Study Program. Data analysis techniques through descriptive statistics with percentages. The results showed an increase in the percentage from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Student participation in collaborative activities increased from 71.5% to 73.3%, while problem-solving skills increased from 53.5% to 71.7%. Based on the observer transcripts, some students still do not understand the material and cases discussed in lectures in class and the laboratory. This is because students do not actively ask questions and do not have curiosity about the material and case explanations presented by lecturers or fellow students. This study shows that implementing the integrated case method in lesson study can increase student participation activities and problem-solving skills in Biochemistry courses.Abstrak Matakuliah Biokimia merupakan matakuliah dasar dan wajib bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi dan problem-solving skill mahasiswa melalui kemampuan menyelesaikan kasus-kasus konsep Biomolekul dan protein pada Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM). Ini adalah penelitian Action Reseach terintegrasi lesson study dengan dua siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah rubrik pertisipasi mahasiswa dalam case method dan LKM problem-solving skill matakuliah Biokimia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 24 mahasiswa semester 3 prodi Pendidikan Biologi. Teknik analisis data melalui statistik deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentasi dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Aktivitas partisipasi mahasiswa dalam kolaborasi dari 71,5% menjadi 73,3%, sedangkan problem-solving skill mahasiswa dari 53,5% menjadi 71,7%. Berdasarkan transkrip observer masih ada mahasiswa yang kurang memahami materi dan kasus yang didiskusikan dalam perkuliahan di kelas maupun di laboratorium. Hal ini karena mahasiswa tidak aktif bertanya dan tidak memiliki rasa ingin tahu terhadap materi dan penjelasan kasus yang disampaikan oleh dosen atau sesama mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi case method terintergrasi dalam lesson study dapat meningkatkan aktivitas partispasi dan problem-solving skill mahasiswa pada matakuliah Biokimia.
