Abstract

Bronze featherback (Notopterus notopterus) is one of the fish species native to Indonesian waters. This species is closely related to the knifefish (Chitala sp.). South Sumatra uses this fish as a raw material for pempek and kemplang crackers. This fish has a high economic value like Chitala sp. The need for the culinary industry is increasing, causing the demand for this fish to also increase. Until now, the production of N. notopterus has relied on wild catches, as aquaculture production has not been available. Overfishing as well as habitat destruction have led to the decline of this species' population in the wild. Domestication is the effort to domesticate wild fish into a farming environment. The initial stage of N. notopterus domestication has been successfully carried out. They successfully survived and grew in aquaculture containers. This activity is the dissemination of information on the results of the initial stage of the N. notopterus domestication study. The methods used were counseling, demonstration plots, and mentoring. This activity was carried out in Putak Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. The results of the activity show that the community's knowledge of N. notopterus is increasing. People know that N. notopterus and Chitala hypselonotus are different species, even though they are very similar. Public awareness of the importance of preserving N. notopterus and Chitala hypselonotus is increasing. This activity is very beneficial for the Putak community.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran tata bahasa, dalam buku ALBI. Sebagai salah satu unsur bahasa, selain suara, dan koskata, tata bahasa menjadi elemen penting yang harus diajarkan. Sebagaimana buku-buku ajar lainnya, buku ini menyaji dua bentuk materi teks bacaan dan percakapan, selain tentunya dilengkapi dengan tata bahasa. Untuk pembelajaran suara, sebagaimana lazimnya buku ajar lainnya, materi itu terintegrasi dari pilihan kata untuk masing-masing bacaan dan percakapan. Karena semua disampaikan dengan menggunakan suara huruf hijaiyyah, maka tiada perlu dimunculkan materi suara sebagai bagian tersendiri, sebagaimana tata bahasa. Buku ALBI, memberikan warna tersendiri dalam pembelajaran tata bahasa itu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan analisis deskriptif pada studi kepustakaan (library research), data bersumber dari literer klasik yaitu buku terkait tata Bahasa yanag laziam dipakai, juga buku ALBI. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi literarur yang tersedia, lalu dianalisis dan dideskripsikan secara utuh. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, ALBI dalam memuat materi pembelajaran tata bahasa secara umum menggunakan metode induktif secara sepihak, karena untuk penjelasan masing-masing kaidah, dosen diberikan keleluasaan dalam memberikan kesimpulan dengan bahasa masing-masing, kedua, dalam menyusun skala prioritas materi, ALBI menggunakan pola yang berbeda dengan buku ajar lain atau buku yang secara khusus membahas tentang tata bahasa Arab juga ada materi yang tidak tersajikan dalam buku-buku ajar lain, ketiga, dalam menyebut istilah atau contoh ada ketidaksamaan antara satu materi dengan materi lain sehingga dalam beberapa materi perlu menjelaskan ulang.

Abstract

Biaya produksi tertinggi pada budidaya ikan secara intensif berasal dari biaya pakan. Sebagian besar pembudidaya ikan sangat bergantung pada pakan komersial, yang harganya relatif tinggi. Pembuatan pakan secara mandiri menggunakan bahan baku lokal menjadi alternatif mengurangi ketergantungan pada pakan komersial, dan biaya produksi. Berbagai bahan baku lokal yang dapat digunakan dalam formulasi pakan ikan, satu diantaranya adalah ampas tahu. Penyebaran informasi hasil-hasil penelitian yang dapat diaplikasikan oleh masyarakat perlu dilakukan. Hal ini juga merupakan kegiatan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi dibidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan pelatihan kepada pembudidaya ikan tentang pembuatan pakan berbahan ampas tahu untuk ikan lele sehingga peserta memahami cara membuat pakan ikan secara mandiri.  Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Pulau Semambu, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, yang berlokasi tidak jauh dari kampus Universitas Sriwijaya. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini adalah demonstrasi cara pembuatan pakan ikan. Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan teoritis dan praktis peserta tentang cara pembuatan pakan ikan lele. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan persentase jumlah peserta yang memahami materi yang diberikan, dari 20% menjadi 64%, atau meningkat sebesar 44%. Selanjutnya, pakan yang dibuat sesuai formulasi tersebut direkomendasikan untuk diaplikasikan pada ikan lele yang dipelihara untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan.

Abstract

Desa Burai adalah salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Tanjung Batu, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Desa Burai dikelilingi oleh sungai kelekar dan rawa yang kaya akan flora dan fauna. Desa Burai Kecamatan Tanjung Batu, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan merupakan salah satu dari 50 desa ekowisata terbaik di Indonesia. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh pembudidaya ikan termasuk yang dihadapi oleh kelompok pembudidaya ikan di Desa Burai saat ini belum mampu memproduksi benih ikan Selincah secara mandiri dan kontinue sehingga ketersediaan benih untuk usaha pembesaran budidaya ikan selincah masih mengandalkan dari hasil tangkapan alam. Untuk mengatasi masalah yang timbul dan untuk meningkatkan produksi khususnya pembudidaya ikan selincah maka perlu ditingkatkan usaha budidaya yang lebih intensif. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menambahkan atau menyuntikkan hormon ovaprim ke dalam tubuh ikan yang sudah matang gonad untuk meempercepat proses pemijahan sehingga dapat dihasilkan benih ikan selincah yang baik dimana jumlah, mutu dan waktu penyediaannya dapat diatur sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teknis pembudidaya ikan dengan transfer teknologi pembenihan ikan selincah secara terkontrol dan meningkatkan produksi benih ikan selincah secara berkelanjutan. Hasil produksi mitra sebelum adanya kegiatan PKM ini hanya mampu menangkap dari alam, sekarang sudah bisa melakukan pemijahan secara mandiri

Abstract

This research was conducted to provide an overview of the radical Islamic movement that followed the WTC tragedy. This movement had a tremendous impact on Indonesia as a country with a majority Muslim population. The impact of this radical movement has made Islam's image less good in the eyes of the world and it is considered a terrorist who preaches violence. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide an overview of the radical movement carried out by ISIS which has had an impact on the worldview of Muslims in Indonesia. This research with a qualitative descriptive design uses library research by looking for references from books and journals that are relevant to contemporary Islamic radical movements. The results of this research show that ISIS is part of the dark history of Islam which grew and grew out of political-based radicalism as a continuation of the violent and intolerant ideology of neo-khawarijism. Therefore, it is necessary to have a genuine understanding of Islam so that radical movements that are detrimental to Islam will no longer emerge in Indonesia or in the world.

Abstract

Arabic rules are one of the elements of language other than sounds  (al-Aswat) and vocabulary (al-Mufrodat) and are important in learning sentence structure in Arabic. Without it, Arabic would not be understood, because it could not determine subjects, predicates, objects, and descriptions. However, most students have difficulty in understanding it, in addition to many new terms that are unfamiliar when compared to terms in Indonesian or English also changes at the end of words (i'rob) whether the change is in the form of letters or letters. Based on that problem, the right learning model is needed in its delivery. This article will discuss one of the models for learning Arabic rules, namely the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition) learning model. This article uses the Library Research method, with data sources in the form of books, and journals, both online and offline, to obtain information relevant to the problem discussed, especially to describe theoretical studies that have been determined. The findings of this article explain that the CIRC learning model is more appropriate in improving reading and writing skills because the rules of Arabic are only limited to being a medium, not a goal, learning it is more appropriate by using direct methods by providing exercises related to the number of sentences in Arabic. The implication of this article states that CIRC is one of the learning models that can be developed to achieve competency in understanding the Arabic rules of students.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the taysir manhaji method in the development of Islamic economic law in Indonesia through the fatwas of the National Sharia Council–Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI). Taysir manhaji refers to a methodological approach that facilitates legal decision-making with ease and flexibility, allowing Islamic legal rulings to adapt to changing economic realities. By applying fiqh principles, DSN-MUI has issued fatwas addressing contemporary financial practices, including wadiah, mudarabah, currency exchange, and Islamic hedging. This research employs a qualitative approach, combining document analysis and interviews to explore the practical implementation of taysir manhaji in DSN-MUI fatwas. The findings reveal that this method serves as a bridge between classical fiqh and modern financial practices while upholding maqasid al-shari‘ah (the objectives of Islamic law). Its flexibility enables practical solutions, as exemplified by DSN-MUI fatwas No. 1, 5, 18, and 22, without compromising fundamental Islamic legal principles. The study underscores the taysir manhaji method's significant contribution to the evolution of Islamic economic law, demonstrating its ability to accommodate modern economic demands while preserving the integrity of shari‘ah principles. Furthermore, it highlights the necessity of adaptability in Islamic legal thought to address the complexities of the global economic landscape.

Abstract

The limited number of fish seeds is still an obstacle in betta fish cultivation activities due to the low percentage of hatching and high mortality of larvae. This research aims to increase the percentage of egg hatching and survival of betta fish by stimulating ketapang leaves. This research was carried out in a controlled area at UPR Mitra Mina Sejahtera located in Griya Sejahtera Indralaya Housing, Ogan Ilir Regency from June to July 2022. The addition of ketapang leaves as much as 2 g per L (P2) can increase the hatching percentage at 96.97% and betta fish larval survival rate to 87.92%. The water quality obtained from this research is the temperature of P1 ranges from 26.4-27.3°C, P2 ranges from 26.7-27.2, control ranges from 26.5-27.1°C, pH P1 ranges from 6.5-6.9, P2 ranges from 6.5-6.7 and control ranges from 6.9-7.2 and dissolved oxygen P1 ranges from 1.03-1.09 mg per L, P2 ranges from 1.00-1.05 mg per L and control ranged from 1.04-1.10 mg per L.

Graphical Abstract Highlight Research Freshwater eels in Kuari River consisted of two species marmorata and A. bengalensis Anguilla marmorata had the highest similarity of 99.82%-100%, while bengalensis indicated the highest identity of 99.84%-100% to the same species in the GenBank database. Phylogenetic species indicated that Anguilla marmorata and Anguilla bengalensis form two different sub-clusters. The water quality in the Bengkulu Kuari River were still in tolerance for fish growth and survival.     Abstract Freshwater eels (Anguilla spp.) are classified in the family Anguillidae, and included in the catadromous group. This study aimed to determine the COI gene sequences of the mitochondrial DNA, analyze the genetic distances, and phylogenetics, and characterize the physical and chemical parameters of between freshwater eels habitat in the Kuari River Bengkulu. This research was conducted from November 2020 – April 2021. The methods used in barcoding eel species were DNA isolation, DNA amplification using PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), electrophoresis, and sequencing of COI gene regions in mtDNA. The COI mtDNA gene fragments were obtained from PCR results with an annealing temperature of 50°C for 30 seconds in 35 cycles. BLASTn analysis of eel samples AM3 and AM4 had the highest similarity of 99.82%-100% to Anguilla marmorata, and samples AB2-AB5 indicated the highest identity of 99.84%-100% to Anguilla bengalensis. Phylogenetic species indicated that Anguilla marmorata and Anguilla bengalensis form two different sub-clusters. The water qualities in the Bengkulu Kuari River were temperatures 26.5-27.5oC, pH 7.1-8.7, dissolved oxygen 6.19-9.54 mg L-1, brightness 21-47 cm, ammonia 0.16-0.41 mg L-1, total alkalinity 20–52 mg L-1, TDS 33–49 mg L-1, salinity 0.3-0.4 ppt and water velocity 0.5-0.8 ms-1. The COI gene in DNA barcoding is very appropriate to be used for the identification of Anguilla spp species by comparing the DNA sequence of the COI gene with the existing database in the Genbank.

Abstract

Ikan selincah (Belontia hasselti) merupakan salah satu komoditas yang memiliki potensi untuk dibudidayakan, namun terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan yang masih rendah. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu menggunakan probiotik rawa berupa Bacillus sp. dan Streptomyces sp. yang dikombinasikan dengan prebiotik.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dosis kombinasi prebiotik dan probiotik asal rawa yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan, dan status kesehatan ikan selincah. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, dengan jumlah probiotik yang sama pada setiap perlakuan yaitu sebanyak 5 mL kg-1 pakan dan jumlah prebiotik yang berbeda yaitu P0 tanpa prebiotik, P1 1%, P2 2%, dan P3 3%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis prebiotik yang terbaik saat dikombinasikan dengan probiotik asal rawa adalah 3% (P3) yang menghasilkan kelangsungan hidup sebesar 96% sebelum infeksi dan 91,33% setelah diinfeksi  dengan bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila, total eritrosit sebesar 1,08-2,57 x 106 sel mm-3, total leukosit sebesar 3,39-6,44 x 104 sel mm-3, total bakteri di usus sebesar 0,59-7,38 x 108 CFU mL-1, pertumbuhan bobot 4,15 g, dan pertumbuhan panjang sebesar 1,03 cm. Kombinasi probiotik rawa dan 3% prebiotik ubi jalar, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan performa kesehatan, pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan selincah.Malay Combtail (Belontia hasselti) is a commodity that has the potential to be cultivated, but there are several challenges such as survival and growth which are still low. Efforts that can be made to overcome this problem are using swamp probiotics in the form of Bacillus sp. and Streptomyces sp. combined with prebiotic. The aim of this study was to determine the correct combination dose of prebiotic and probiotics from swamps to improve the survival, growth and health status of Malay combtail. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and three replications, with the same amount of probiotics in each treatment, namely 5 mL kg-1 feed and different amounts of prebiotic, namely P0 without prebiotics, P1 1%, P2 2 %, and P3 3%. The results showed that the best dose of prebiotics when combined with swamp probiotics was 3% (P3) which resulted in survival of 96% before infection and 91.33% after infection with Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria, total erythrocytes of 1.08-2,57 x 106 cells mm-3, total leukocytes of 3.39-6.44 x 104 cells mm-3, total bacteria in the intestine of 0.59-7.38 x 108 CFU mL-1, weight gain of 4.15 g, and length gain of 1.03 cm. The combination of swamp probiotics and 3% sweet potato prebiotic can be used to improve the health performance, growth and survival of Malay combtail.
