Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal lingkaran sesuai indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Kerinci terdiri dari 21 orang siswa berdasarkan kemampuan akademis rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar soal untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis yang terdiri atas 4 soal materi lingkaran dengan masing-masing indikator memuat satu soal, dan pedoman wawancara untuk mengetahui penyebab ketidaktercapaian indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data dimulai dari mengumpulkan data hasil tes KBKM siswa, hasil kerja siswa dikelompokkan menurut ketercapaian masing-masing indikator, dan ketercapaian masing-masing indikator dianalisis untuk mengetahui penyebab ketidaktercapaian indikator tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa rendah dengan persentase pencapaian sebesar 48%. Siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi telah mampu dalam menginterpretasi masalah membuat analisis tetapi masih terdapat siswa salah dalam perhitungan, siswa kategori sedang telah mampu dalam menginterpretasi masalah dan menganalisis tetapi untuk inferensi dan evaluasi belum lengkap, siswa kategori rendah belum mampu menginterpretasi permasalahan serta analisis dan evaluasi hingga menyimpulkan suatu persoalan matematika.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran memberi dukungan positif terhadap kualitas pengelolaan pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan big data sebagai sumber bahan-bahan pengembangan media. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, dilapangan diperoleh informasi bahwa guru SD di Kec. Sungai Lala belum terampil mengembangkan media pembelajaran secara optimal. Terkait dengan hal ini, maka kami dari Program studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNRI bekerjasama dengan UPTD Kec. Sungai Lala Kab. Indragiri Hulu menaja sebuah kegiatan workshop pengembangan media bagi guru-guru SD se-Kec. Sungai Lala. Adapun hasil kegiatan ini berdasarkan tahapan pelaksanaannya adalah: (1) pada tahap persiapan dihasilkan kebutuhan yang mendasar bagi guru terkait dengan pembelajaran yakni keterampilan membuat media pembelajaran; (2) pada tahap pelaksanaan, dilakukan presentasi materi oleh tim dan latihan mengembangkan media; (3) pada tahap evaluasi dihasilkan respon peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan, yang disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan workshop memberikan hal baru bagi peserta dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran.

Abstract

The background factor for this research is the importance of mathematical communication skills (KKM), but in practice there are still many students who have low abilities in mathematical communication. This study intends to provide an overview of students' mathematical communication skills (KKM) with indicators of drawing, mathematical expression and writing. The method used is descriptive qualitative in which the subject will use class VIII students of SMP N 13 Dumai totaling 30 people. The research instrument is in the form of three essay test questions. To obtain in-depth information, interviews were conducted with three students whose abilities were heterogeneous and selected from all students who took the test. The results of this study indicate that 26.67% of students are classified as high, 53.33% of students are classified as moderate and 20% of students are classified as low. The factor that causes the low ability of students' mathematical communication is the lack of students' ability to express mathematics

Abstract

Mismatches between teacher-created learning tools and 2013 curriculum requirements affect students' level of understanding of learning materials, primarily linear equations and inequalities of one variable. This study aims to create a learning tool based on problem-based learning of linear equation materials and one-variable inequalities that is valid and practical for class VII SMP/MTs. The resulting learning tools are a syllabus, a learning implementation plan (RPP), and a student activity sheet (LAS). This learning tool is a development study using a 4D model that consists of four stages: definition, design, development, and dissemination. The means of this research were verification sheets and student response questionnaires. The data analysis performed is a validity analysis and a utility analysis. The syllabus, lesson, and LAS validation results show very valid criteria with average validation values ​​of 3.64, 3.60, and 3.61, respectively. The results of limited LAS testing showed that LAS met very practical criteria with an average utility value of 3.61. A problem-based learning tool for linear equations and inequalities in one variable class VII SMP / MT meets valid and practical criteria based on validation and limited test results. It can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi menuntut guru untuk mempersiapkan pembelajaran dengan baik agar KPMM peserta didik dapat terfasilitasi dengan mempersiapkan sumber belajar yang mendukung perkembangan teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan analisis diperoleh informasi sumber belajar yang digunakan guru belum memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi yang ada seperti pembelajaran menggunakan e-learning khususnya moodle. Tujuan peneitian ini menghasilkan sumber belajar menggunakan moodle yang valid serta praktis guna memfasilitasi KPMM peserta didik pada materi SPLTV. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan model 4D. Tahap define yaitu analisis awal akhir, karakteristik peserta didik serta analisis kompetensi, 2) tahap design yaitu rancangan materi pembelajaran, rancangan tujuan pembelajaran, rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran, rancangan tampilan sumber belajar, 3) tahap develop meliputi pengembangan sumber belajar, validasi ahli, dan uji coba, 4) tahap disseminate. Instrumen validasi pada penelitian ini adalah lembar yang dinilai oleh tiga ahli materi maupun ahli media. Instrumen praktikalitas berbentuk angket respon peserta didik. Pengumpulan dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, serta angket. Hasil validitas diperoleh rata-rata secara keseluruhan 88,38. Hasil ujicoba skala besar memperoleh rata-rata 4,26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan sumber belajar menggunakan moodle pada materi SPLTV yang valid serta praktis guna memfasilitasi KPMM peserta didik.  AbstractTechnological developments require teachers to prepare learning well so that students' mathematical problem solving abilities can be facilitated by preparing learning resources that support technological developments. Based on the results of observation and analysis, information was obtained that the learning resources used by teachers have not taken advantage of existing technological developments such as learning using e-learning, especially Moodle. The purpose of this research is to produce learning resources using valid and practical Moodles to facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities in SPLTV material. This research was developed with a 4D model. The define stage is the initial and final analysis, student characteristics and competency analysis, 2) the design stage, namely the design of learning materials, the design of learning objectives, the design of learning activities, the display design of learning resources, 3) the develop stage includes the development of learning resources, expert validation, and testing try, 4) disseminate stage. The validation instrument in this study was a sheet that was assessed by three material experts and media experts. The practicality instrument is in the form of a student response questionnaire. The collection was carried out using observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the validity obtained an overall average of 88.38. The results of large-scale trials obtained an average of 4.26. Based on the results of this study, it produces learning resources using moodle on valid and practical SPLTV material to facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This research produces the learning devices based  discovery learning on subject of sequences and series number which can facilitate the mathematical problem solving abilities of senior high school students who have valid and practical criteria. This research is a development study using the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the validation by three experts, is obtained information that the learning devices are very valid. Based on the field test on students of senior high school students in Simpang Kanan in Riau Province, was obtained information that students’worksheets  were very practical applications. Therefore, the learning  devices have developed have qualified criteria of valid and practical applications to facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Kurangnya ketersediaan media pembelajaran interaktif yang mampu memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik di sekolah menjadi pengaruh besar terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis Filmora yang memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas XII SMA pada materi Permutasi dan Kombinasi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D, yang terdiri dari tahap: (1) Define; (2) Design; (3) Develop; dan (4) Disseminate. Subjek uji coba keterbacaan media terdiri dari 6 peserta didik dan uji coba kelompok besar terdiri dari 32 peserta didik kelas 12 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi media pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilairata-rata 3,75. Hasil praktikalitas media memperoleh rata-rata 3,53 dengan kategori sangat praktis dan KPM peserta didik berada pada rata-rata skor 86,1.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of using LKPD based of Problem Based Learning model in improving Mathematical Communication Ability of Grade VIII Students at Dwi Sejahtera Junior High School Pekanbaru. The type of this research was Quasi Experimental Research with pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students of Dwi Sejahtera Junior High School Pekanbaru Academic Year 2019/2020. The samples selection was conducted by using random sampling technique. Based on the result of data analysis, obtained the average score of posttest in Experimental Class 90,87, and the average score of the Control Class is 48,67. It means the average of Experimental Class is higher than the Control Class. The difference test of both averages used t-test obtained significance (2-tailed) 0,000 < α = 0,05 which means the average of posttest score of students’ Mathematical Communication Ability who learn by using LKPD based of PBL is different from the average score of posttest of students’ Mathematical Communication Ability who learn by using scientific learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that there is effect of Problem Based Learning model on students’ Mathematics Communication Ability.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the problem-solving process and students' mathematical problem-solving skills by applying the Problem Based Learning model. The subjects in this study were class VII-B students of MTs PP Nurul Huda Lubuk Batu Jaya in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year, totaling 24 students. This study consisted of two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments used were learning devices and data collection instruments. Learning tools consist of a syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), and student activity sheets (LAS), while the data collection instruments used are observation sheets and KPMM tests. Data from the observation sheet shows that the learning process has improved from cycle I to cycle II. The average KPMM score of students in the first cycle was 68.61, increasing to 86.36 in the second cycle. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning process and the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class VII-B MTs PP Nurul Huda Lubuk Batu Jaya students in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

Learning geometry is an important lesson because it is studied at every level of education and geometry is a sub-matter in mathematics that is very closely related to the lives of students. However, field data shows that there are still many students who experience learning difficulties in geometry material, both obstacles that are classified as ontogenic obstacles, epistemological obstacles and didactical obstacles. This study aims to identify how the distribution of research that addresses learning barriers in Didactical Design Research research on geometry material and also aims to find out what learning barriers students often experience when studying geometry. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review using 25 articles that have been published in indexed journals Sinta and Scopus in the 2019-2023 period. The article was obtained from search results on the Google Scholar and ERIC data base. The results of this study indicate that research discussing learning barriers in geometry material is mostly carried out at the elementary school level with the sub-material that is most often discussed is two-dimensional material. The results of this study also show that students still experience many types of learning barriers including ontogenic obstacles, epistemological obstacles, and didactical obstacles.
