Abstract

The construction of road infrastructure is one program that is being activated by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Given the many benefits that can be felt by the community and government. But in addition to development, maintenance and repairs are also needed on the highway. Road damage can cause minor injuries to death. Decision making for repair and handling of road damage is often not on target, due to errors in determining priorities caused by the limitations of field officers. Besides that, the handling of road damage seems slow because the recapitulation of the data obtained still uses paper documents, which results in the handling of road damage being prolonged and road damage not being corrected immediately. In this study, a system developed using Raspberry PI microcomputer by applying the GPS sensor, vibration sensor and ultrasonic sensor implanted in motorized vehicles. This sensor will provide information regarding the level of road damage and the location of road damage with the help of the Google Maps API in real time to the relevant officers. So that decision making and handling repair of road damage can be done on target and immediately corrected.

Abstract

Road damage is a common thing found on city streets. Not a bit of road damage causes discomfort in driving to cause accidents. Not a few people are anxious about the road conditions. The amount of public desire to be able to report road damage so that roads can be repaired quickly is quite high. Therefore, a facility is needed for the community to be able to easily and quickly convey their concerns regarding road damage. The Laporjalan application offers these conveniences. By using the geotagging feature and taking pictures with an iOS-based smartphone camera. Using the Firebase database as online storage, users can also find out which roads have road damage, from the level of minor damage to severe damage and monitor the progress of damaged road reports that have been sent. The road damage report sent by the user will be used by the relevant agency as additional information for road repairs. Developed with an iterative method, Laporjalan applications can easily adjust its features to user needs. Based on the results of testing with usability testing, obtained a value of 74 for Laporjalan application, where this value falls into the category of acceptability rating with the level is good so that this application can be said according to user needs.

Abstract

88% smartphone users read reviews about smartphone. Smartphone reviews can be found on various websites. TNT Cell is one of the mobile counter that sells various brands of smartphone. One of business process at TNT Cell is the consultation process about smartphone, some of the customers can't understand well about the advantages and disadvantages of smartphone, although it has been explained by the officer. That case will affects the process of customer decision making. Based on these problems an information system about smartphone review was developed. This system will give the customer information about smartphones by review from several websites and conducting sentiment analysis on reviews. Web scraping methods are used in this system to extract reviews from sites priceprice.com, pricebook.co.id, and iprice.co.id. In the process of sentiment analysis, one of the classification methods that used was Support Vector Machine. The software development method that used in this research is the waterfall model method. The testing technique that used on this research are validation testing, compatibility testing, and usability testing. The result of validation testing is all of the given test case are valid, that mean the system has been built appropriate with the user requirement.

Abstract

In the city of Malang, there are many traffic jams at many points, both on the protocol road and on the roads of the village. Apart from the fact that Malang City has a large population, the density of transportation or congestion that occurs is also caused by damage to the road. This is also a factor in the occurrence of traffic accidents on the highway. Damages to the road cannot be quickly handled by the Malang City government. This is because the city of Malang has a fairly large area of 110.6 square kilometers, and the survey process that must be carried out is quite time-consuming and costly. Difficulties are also experienced by people who want to report a road damage, including because they do not know the procedures that must be done to report. The Road Reporting System, offers a reporting mechanism, whereby the reporter can send his report anywhere in the city of Malang to the Binamarga official in Malang City, and the Malang City office will be easier to collect road damage data. The Road Reporting System consists of two applications, namely, a reporting application built on the Android platform for reporters, and an admin application built on the nodeJs web application platform for Malang City services.

Abstract

Culinary business is a business that is available in every region both on a small and large scale. Edd's Waffle, is a restaurant located in Pekanbaru with variant price of food and beverages that become popular among teenagers. Nowadays, Edd's Waffle uses a standard cash register, the Cash Register Sharp XE-A102 to support sales transactions. This standard cash register leaves a lot of problems in terms of sales development due to its ability to only be able to print sales receipts and provide financial reports in X-reports and Z-reports containers. To solve this problem, a point of sale system was developed to support Edd's Waffle both in terms of sales and information optimization. This point of sale system provides key features such as adding transactions, observing sales transaction history and sales progress charts, estimating revenue predictions, and identifying sales trends that contain the lists of products and best-selling product combinations. In term to optimize current data, this system utilizes 2 algorithms that contained in data mining techniques. The first algorithm is Holt Exponential Smoothing to predict Edd's Waffle's income. The selection of this algorithm is because the existing pattern of data movement is dynamic, which tends to change and is not bound by certain variables. Whereas the second algorithm is Apriori, to analyze the trends in every sold product, so that it produces information to get the combination of potential products to be paired. This system is built on web platforms. This system has been tested using unit testing and integration testing using the Whitebox method and validation testing using the Blackbox method. Beside of that, usability testing is measured using the System Usability Scale method, which the final score is 87.5 (acceptable).

Abstract

Mahar Agung Organizer has many parameters in selecting candidates that cause a lot of time during manual processing. Project manager's selection in February 2018 was then estimated at more than five hundred job applicants. In the August 2018 official crew selection, it was estimated that job applicants reached one thousand six hundred candidates. In addition, there was no process of classifying the types of events suitable for official crew after being accepted, causing the project manager to review the results of the interview to place the crew official in the list of events. The absence of a concise page that can display information related to official crew work performance to assess official crew performance is also one of the problems that is expected to be resolved through this research. This research will be conducted using an Object-oriented (OO) approach that will use Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Class Diagrams in making systems. The development cycle uses the Prototype method by doing two iterations according to the agreement in the beginning with the stakeholders. This system will have three main features. The first feature will be implementing selection of candidates with Profile Matching. The second feature is a function for placing candidates who have been accepted into their divisions using the Naive Bayes algorithm. The third feature is displaying official crew performance in the form of dashboarding information. Validation testing using Black Box produces 100% validity. Unit testing and integration testing using White Box is in accordance with expected result.

Abstract

Online marketing or often called digital marketing is marketing with the concept of promoting a product or service through internet-based media, one of which is a website. The existence of a website raises new problem, namely the difficulty in recognizing website visitors. The use of website to improve marketing strategies needs to be done by recognizing website visitors which will be the lead for a company. Without recognizing the website visitors, the salesperson cannot determine the customer to be contacted. To overcome these problems, a system of monitoring leads is built on the website by applying the waterfall development model. The technology used in this research is the laravel framework which are implemented using the PHP and Javascript programming languages. This research produces a monitoring lead system that can monitor leads, recognize the behavior of website visitors, find out the recommendation of leads, and conduct lead management. In the calculation process, the recommendation of leads uses the weighted product method which is a decision support method that uses weighting, where alternative values and predetermined criteria are needed. This weighted product method is expected to provide recommendation of leads in the form of rating so the salesperson know which leads should be followed up. Testing is done by using the white-box and blackbox methods which show the results that the system functions are in accordance with the main functional specifications, which is displaying various lead information. Usability testing produces a value of 91.67 which indicates that the system has made it easy for users.

Abstract

Ease of access and teaching-learning activities in e-Learning raises a new problem, where there are some students who found a difficulties to do a task in e-Learning and lack of motivation in doing the task. With the Code Maniac e-Learning website was help students in the learning process, but haven't been able built the students motivation. So in this study will enhance CodeManiac e-Learning website with the addition of chatbot to provide motivation to users and actively capture user behavior and give a messages based on user behavior. In this study writer used AIML. AIML itself is subset of XML. Like XML, AIML here as the language used to construct chatbot logic which contains a set of patterns and responses that can be used by chatbot to track answers every sentence given. With this implementation has been motivated CodeManiac users feels by the chatbot who can interact with users and actively captures user behavior. In final step on the enhancement of codemaniac has been tested with whitebox testing, blackbox testing and usability testing with each score 100% valid, 100% valid and 88%.

Abstract

Requirements elicitation is an important process in software engineering that used to get information about the system scope and needs that will be built. This elicitation process determines the success of the software, where if there is an error in defining the requirements it will cause system to failure. In this process the stakeholders' role is needed to help the software development team determine what kind of system will be built. But, in the process there are several problems that can hinder the elicitation process. The first problem is that stakeholders usually having trouble when defining the desired system and the lacks of knowledge that the development team have about scope of the system, caused a misunderstanding in defining the requirements. On the other hand, the low enthusiasm of stakeholders makes the requirements elicitation proses has been more difficult, so the requirements that been produced has a poor quality. Based on these problems, need an innovation in the process of elicitation to overcome existing problems. The gamification concept is the way that can be done to make an activity more interesting, so that it can increase the stakeholders' enthusiasm to participate in the process of requirements elicitation. The requirements elicitation system with gamification concept is expected to be able to make collaboration between stakeholders and the development team easier, therefore they can produce a requirement with a good quality. This system is made with website technology and has been tested with the Whitebox testing method for unit testing and integration testing, and the Blackbox testing method for validation testing which resulting in a 100% valid value for all test cases then, usability testing which resulting in 82.5 with acceptable category.

Abstract

Reusability is one of the software quality that means the ability to reuse software components on other problems to reduce time, cost, and human resources. Reusability can be measured at the design phase so the software design can be improved as early as possible before it is implemented. This research is intended to develop a tool for measuring reusability of software design automatically. Measurement of reusability is done by multiple regression techniques using object oriented design property metrics, namely coupling, encapsulation, and inheritance based on the Quality Model for Object-Oriented Design (QMOOD) metric, because the correlation between reusability and property has been validated and results in high acceptance values of 95%. Reusability is calculated from the input class xml diagram. From the results of development, all defined requirements have been tested and produce valid. In addition, for efficiency requirements, the system has efficiency that is 100% can do calculations and time is faster than manual calculations for both simple and complex test filed. So the system can be useful to help calculate reusability more efficiently than manual counting.
