Abstract

The progress of the development of technology, especially the Web today, can make competition in the business world increase. In the business world, many companies engaged in transportation services are expected to become a travel business. Management of travel business requires fast customer service, so this business requires the right web information technology to help improve the quality of its service. This information technology optimization strategy for time efficiency is needed to optimize pickup route selection. The Djikstra algorithm is needed to perform calculations to get passenger pickup results based on the closest distance. This travel ticket booking application was developed using the waterfall method where at the defining requirement used an open interview technique. Then at the implementation stage use the MySQL database and the PHP language with the CodeIgniter framework. This functionality tester of this travel ticket booking application, uses unit and integration testing that produce valid values in testing a unit and components that work in the system. In addition, validation testing is also carried out with 100% valid results. While testing non-functional requirements this application uses compatibility testing with the result that there are 2 critical issues in 2 different browsers.

Abstract

Information technology is something that is needed at this time, one of which is to help company management because it produces information quickly. PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia has succeeded in determining one of them with good management work related to work deadlines. The company PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia has information technology in the field of work management, but currently in work management to make a work process must make a business process, then after it is finished with a system that will assign employees to it. This causes problems, namely the difficulty of direct assignments to employees and the process of work being carried out. PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia needs a system to assist the process of making and assigning employees. In making this system use workflows which are workflow processes and can be carried out related to the workflow provided to employees. In representing workflows performed, Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) will be discussed, which is a standard for modeling business processes. In the end the system can make business processes, assign employees, and complete tasks. This system was built on a web platform and was approved by whitebox, blackbox testing and usability testing with the Usability Scale System method to produce acceptable categories, namely systems created according to user desires.

Abstract

Maintainability is defined as the ease of modifying a system or component of software. Previously there were studies from Kumar and Dhanda in 2015 namely "Maintainability Measurement Model for Object Oriented Design" which states that the results of maintainability values ​​can be known based on flexibility and extendibility in the class diagram. The study explained that the calculation is quite time-consuming because it has to do the calculation process of the 4 metrics of Quality Model for Object-Oriented Design (QMOOD). Therefore this research is intended to build a tool for measuring maintainability at the stage of software design automatically by implementing the calculations found in the Kumar and Dhanda research. Development is done using the Waterfall method. The tools are desktop-based by entering the XML class diagram file in a standard simple format from the visual paradigm application to determine the value of maintainability. These tools have a time based efficiency of 0.67 tasks/second, which is faster than manual measurement which has a time based efficiency of 0.0082 tasks/second. Besides that, it has overall relative efficiency or the success of completing tasks by 100%.

Abstract

Economic growth in the information and communication sector in Indonesia continues to rise every year. This is driven by the number of internet users, for example online transactions. This positive growth has made changes spending patterns of Indonesian people increasingly shifting towards electronics or online shopping. Whereas Awesam sells products according to the wishes of the users still in the conventional way that makes customers have to come direclty to the store. The sales coverage is still small because it can only make sales in certain areas. The absence of customer-related database such as contacts, names and geographic information and purchase history makes a lack of service to customers. This certainly makes Awesam not able to compete in online sales. The solution to handle some of these problems is by developing a sales information system using Rational Unified Process (RUP) method based on Sales Force Automation (SFA). The final result of this research is a sales information system to assist the Awesam in handling each transaction, improve service to customers and face competition. Some tests carried out to maintain software quality including validation testing conducted to find out the functional system can run well which shows 100% valid, responsiveness testing to ensure the system can adapt to the size of the user's screen resolution shows that displays can adapt to 3 sizes of resolution properly. As well as compability testing to test non-functional requirements that indicate no errors have occurred.

Abstract

A company or organization is required to use a computerized Employee Application System to overcome problems that arise that can reduce company productivity. Based on interviews with the general head of subdivision and staffing, it can be concluded that the Personnel System in the BPKAD office is still manual, namely the Submission Process File Increase Rank made by employees can cause a delay in promotion due to ignorance of employees and the length of the promotion process. Because after passing through a period of four years (exceeding the period of regular promotion) can affect employee motivation. And also a lot of ignorance of employees about the Pension Preparation Period (MPP) program by releasing employees who for the next 1 year will retire and still receive basic salary. As well as employees do not know the follow-up of the process of filing promotions and MPP files submitted. The employee scoring system based on Employee Work Goals (SKP) and work behavior currently uses Microsoft Office Excel as a media assessment. Appraisal officials in calculating values ​​use the copy paste formula so that frequent errors in writing (human error) and assessment of work behavior are still subjective. To handle theses problem, a solution that canbe aplied is to develop a web-based staffing system in accordance with the features, namely file submission feature and retirement preparation period and employee assessment based on SKP and employee work behavior. This researchs begin by analyzing systen requirement, then performing the design and implernentation stages. In this study using Framework CI (CodeIgniter). Furthermore, testing the system using unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and usability testing. The results of validation testing show that the system can work properly according to needs, and for the results of usability testing shows the results of the calculation of the score of 96.6% so that it can be concluded that the role of the system in accelerating and facilitating staffing activities has been fulfilled.

Abstract

A notary is an approved public official to make an authentic deed and other authority , written in Undang-Undang Jabatan Notaris (UUJN). One of the notary activity is to carry out the administrative process and book the deeds that stored in the form of a notary protocol. From the administration process to bookkeeping notary protocols, there are several problems experienced by owners and employees of the notary office. The first problem is when the notary owners cannot properly maintain the notary protocol, such as being scattered, lost, or damaged the notary may be sanctioned is written in pasal 16 article number (11) UUJN 2/2014. The second problem is the number of notary protocols, it is difficult for owners and employees when the client ask their deed progress. The Owners and Employees must predict where the deed is stored. The third problem is deadlines, because employees of the notary office sometimes forget which work is close to the deadline. In addition, notary protocols that are stored can be damaged for years due to the age of the paper that can only last a dozen years. Based on these problems, there's a new method for the bookkeeping system and notary protocol administration, is stored digitally. Based on the notary protocols catalog from the physical storage at the office, it gives notifications about the paper age, deadline reminders and supervise the office work, such as any work that has not been completed, the progress of the work, and who works to solve the office problems. The software development is using the waterfall method. This system was developed by web-basd, using the PHP programing language, and codeigniter framework. Unit testing is usingg the whitebox tsting methd and the result 100% vald from 3 tests. Validation testing is done usiing the blackbox testing methd and the resulted were 100% valid from 86 tests. Usability testing was done usingg the System Usability Scale methodd the scre was 85,5 and categorized acceptable, so the system has complete the needs of users.

Abstract

Software maintenance is a software development phase that requires more effort, time, and cost. One of the causes of maintenance problems is the high value of software complexity. Developers will find it difficult to understand the software when doing maintenance or if there are changes. In the Object Oriented approach (OO) the use of inheritance, encapsulation, coupling, polymorphism, etc. can facilitate developers in building software. However, the use of high inheritance can also result in high values ​​of complexity. Manually calculating the complexity of a lot of software requires a lot of time and resources. Therefore, it is easy to help calculating software complexity using the Cognitive Weighted Inherited Class Complexity (CWICC) ​​metric. CWICC metrics are OO metrics that function to calculate the complexity of software based on an understanding of the attributes, methods, and inheritance of a class. This system has been built on the programming language of Java and also has been tested using unit testing and integration testing that uses whitebox testing and validations testing that use blackbox testing. This system has an accuracy of 100% and the time for calculating with system is 356 times more faster than with manually.

Abstract

Social media has been assessed to be an effective media for campaign and the use of social media is evidently could develop electability of political candidate. However, because there is limitation of time to keep monitor the condition of social media, usually political candidate's social media end up unmonitored and also not managed very well. To solve the problem, this study will build a system to monitor social media activity by applying waterfall development model with object oriented approach. This system will provide features such as displaying social media activity, people's sentiment analysis, recommendation activity to manage social media, and Indonesian trending topic. System will be developed with Model View Controller (MVC) concept with Laravel framework and PHP, HTML, Javascript as the programming languages. When implementation phase is finished, white box and black box testing is done with result the system has been 100% valid. Usability testing by heuristic evaluation method also done to make sure that system is already made easy for users. The result of usability testing is system has visibility of system status and user control and freedom problem with severity ratings valued 1 which means there is no need to change the system and the system is already made easy for users.

Abstract

PT Petrokimia Gresik is a state-owned enterprise that produces subsidized and non-subsidized fertilizers. In the distribution activities, there were several problems found. The first problem felt by a staff of the Department of Regional 1 was having problems in processing reporting data from the buffer warehouse because of the large amount of data available. The second problem was felt by the Regional 1 Manager who complained of the difficulty of monitoring the condition of the stock in the area quickly and efficiently. The third problem was complained by the Department of Regional 1 staff regarding the reporting of damaged fertilizer in Warehouse Buffer, the process that occurs now is inefficient and there are no media that can monitor the delivery of damaged fertilizer to the central warehouse for recycling. The fourth problem complained by the staff in the inventory section complained that the process was not efficient because the results of the stock inventory must be manually adjusted to the stock listing. Based on these problems, the system developer will do this research that can solve the problem. The waterfall method is used in the software development process in this study. The stages carried out in this study are literature study, needs analysis, system design and implementation, testing, taking conclusions and suggestions. The development of this system is web-based using the CodeIgniter framework. To create a map of the condition of the regional stock used the Google Maps API is equipped with KML layering. Unit and integration testing is done using the white box testing method with 100% valid results. Validation testing uses the black box testing method with 100% valid results. Compatibility testing is done with three different browsers with 100% valid results.

Abstract

In software development there are stages of testing that have a very important role. Testing ensures that in the system there are no bugs and errors. Continuous software changes make it impossible to carry out the overall test. However, changes that occur in the environment, platform, etc., must be re-tested as a whole. To overcome the overall testing will be time consuming, expensive, inefficient and ineffective. So that to overcome the overall test requires regression testing with model-based prioritization test case strategies. To deal with this problem, a manual calculation of the test scenario is carried out with a prioritization test case strategy with weighting factors in the UML activity diagram model. Manual calculations have disadvantages such as requiring a lot of time, human resources, and so on. Therefore an auxiliary a tool is made for the calculation of test scenario priority based on the UML activity diagram. This system was built with C # technology and tested using the white-box testing method on unit testing as well as the black-box testing method in validation testing. On unit testing and validation testing, the test results are 100% valid.
