Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has significantly influenced various aspects of life, including the field of education. Consequently, enhancing public understanding of digital security and ethics in online interactions has become a crucial priority, as these elements form the foundational pillars of a safe and healthy digital ecosystem in Indonesia. Awareness of the importance of digital literacy should ideally be cultivated from an early age, particularly at the elementary school level. Comprehensive digital literacy education serves as a vital foundation for shaping a generation that is not only technologically proficient but also responsible and wise in navigating the digital environment. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach. The aim of this research is to analyze elementary school students’ understanding of digital security in the context of online activities. Data collection techniques employed include interviews and observations, which were conducted to gather insights from the study participants. The findings suggest that students are developing a growing awareness of the importance of using the internet responsibly. The results further indicate that students understand how to safeguard personal information and create secure passwords. Additionally, they demonstrated alertness by seeking guidance from their parents and reporting interactions with unfamiliar individuals. ABSTRAK Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa pengaruh besar terhadap berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk dunia pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai keamanan digital dan etika dalam interaksi daring menjadi hal yang krusial, karena keduanya merupakan landasan utama dalam membangun ekosistem digital yang aman dan sehat di Indonesia. Kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi digital sebaiknya mulai dibangun sejak usia anak-anak, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar. Pendidikan literasi digital yang menyeluruh menjadi fondasi utama dalam membentuk generasi yang tidak hanya terampil menggunakan teknologi, tetapi juga memiliki tanggung jawab dan kebijaksanaan dalam beraktivitas di dunia digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman tentang keamanan digital oleh siswa sekolah dasar dalam aktivitas daring. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi. Metode pengumpulan data diterapkan guna mendapatkan informasi dari partisipan penelitian. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa para siswa memiliki kesadaran akan pentingnya penggunaan internet secara bijak. Hasil akhirnya mengindikasikan bahwa siswa telah memahami cara melindungi informasi pribadi dan menciptakan kata sandi yang aman. Selain itu, mereka juga menunjukkan sikap waspada dengan berkonsultasi kepada orang tua dan melaporkan interaksi dengan orang asing.

Abstract

The lack of active and independent learning patterns among elementary school students poses a significant challenge in the digital era, which demands 21st-century skills. The predominance of passive, teacher-centered learning indicates a pressing need for instructional innovations aligned with technological developments. This study aims to explore changes in students’ learning patterns as a result of implementing digital literacy in the elementary school environment. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 22 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kalia, Tojo Una-Una Regency, Central Sulawesi. The findings reveal a transformation from passive learning to more active, collaborative, independent, and reflective learning behaviors. Students became accustomed to using digital media to access information, take notes, and work in groups. Supporting factors for this shift include students’ motivation and the active role of teachers in facilitating learning, while the main obstacle was limited access to digital devices and internet connectivity. The study concludes that digital literacy plays a strategic role in shaping adaptive and effective learning patterns in the modern educational context. ABSTRAK Rendahnya pola belajar aktif dan mandiri di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar menjadi tantangan serius dalam era digital yang menuntut keterampilan abad ke-21. Pola belajar yang masih dominan bersifat pasif dan berpusat pada guru menunjukkan perlunya inovasi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perubahan pola belajar siswa sebagai dampak dari implementasi literasi digital di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap 22 siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Kalia, Kabupaten Tojo Una-Una, Sulawesi Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya transformasi pola belajar dari yang semula pasif menjadi lebih aktif, kolaboratif, mandiri, dan reflektif. Siswa mulai terbiasa menggunakan media digital untuk mengakses informasi, menyusun catatan, dan bekerja dalam kelompok. Faktor pendukung perubahan ini meliputi motivasi siswa dan peran aktif guru dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran, sedangkan hambatan utamanya adalah keterbatasan akses terhadap perangkat dan jaringan internet. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa literasi digital memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk pola belajar yang adaptif dan efektif di era pembelajaran modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis learning analytics dalam menilai tingkat literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar, mencakup kemampuan akses informasi digital, evaluasi informasi, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan etika digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik total sampling melibatkan 16 siswa kelas VI SD Inpres Puro'ro tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket literasi digital menggunakan skala Likert empat poin, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan pendekatan learning analytics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas siswa (68,75%) memiliki tingkat literasi digital tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 39,75 (82,81%). Berdasarkan dimensi, etika digital memperoleh skor tertinggi (84,90%), diikuti evaluasi informasi digital (83,85%), akses informasi digital (82,29%), dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital (79,17%). Learning analytics mengidentifikasi kekuatan literasi digital pada kemampuan menggunakan mesin pencari (89,06%) dan kesadaran terhadap berita palsu (87,50%), sedangkan kelemahan pada partisipasi diskusi online dan akses perpustakaan digital (masing-masing 75,00%). Pendekatan learning analytics berimplikasi pada personalisasi program literasi digital, prioritas pengembangan berdasarkan identifikasi kelemahan, pengembangan asesmen komprehensif, dan pentingnya kolaborasi multi-stakeholder dalam pengembangan literasi digital di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat menuntut transformasi kurikulum pendidikan dasar, khususnya dalam penguatan literasi digital. Era digital memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang tidak hanya fokus pada kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga pada pemahaman etis dan kritis terhadap penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kesiapan sekolah dasar dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum literasi digital, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, dan merumuskan strategi integrasi yang efektif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan survei. Lokasi penelitian di SD Islam Datok Sulaiman, Palopo, Sulawesi Selatan. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas 6 dan siswa kelas 6. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam, dan pengisian angket. Sekolah menunjukkan kesiapan infrastruktur dasar dengan tersedianya chromebook, akses internet, dan proyektor. Guru memiliki pemahaman dasar teknologi pembelajaran seperti Google Classroom dan Canva, namun masih memerlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap pembelajaran digital, meskipun akses teknologi di rumah masih bervariasi. Tantangan utama meliputi kesenjangan kompetensi digital guru, keterbatasan akses internet di beberapa ruang kelas, dan perlunya modul pembelajaran yang lebih spesifik. Implementasi literasi digital di SD memerlukan pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan peningkatan kompetensi guru, pemerataan infrastruktur, dan pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi. Strategi yang efektif mencakup integrasi literasi digital ke dalam mata pelajaran tematik, pelatihan guru berkelanjutan, dan pengembangan komunitas belajar digital.

Abstract

This study intends to determine whether there is a difference in the creative thinking and mathematical collaboration abilities of students with the problem-based learning model and discovery learning model by learning media. The type of research used is quasi-experimental, a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was 58 students from two elementary schools using the cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a test and observation sheet, which were analyzed descriptively. The findings of the study indicated that (1) there is a difference in the creative thinking abilities of fourth-grade elementary school students between students taught the problem-based learning model and the discovery learning model. This finding is based on the results of the Paired-Sample T-Test analysis, which obtained a Sig value of 0.028 < 0.05. (2) There is a difference in the ability of fourth-grade elementary school students to collaborate in mathematics between students taught by the problem-based learning model and the discovery learning model. This is based on the results of the Paired-Sample T-Test analysis, which obtained a Sig value of 0.001 < 0.05. (3) For fourth-grade students, problem-based learning has a greater impact on their creative thinking and collaboration abilities compared to the discovery learning model. This is based on the results of the MANOVA analysis, which obtained a significant value of creative thinking ability showing 0.040 < 0.05 and a significant value of collaboration ability showing 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

21st-century competence demands that students can reason according to current conditions that are relevant and accurate. Still, learning in the classroom uses a learning model that often does not support students’ reasoning. This study aims for differences in students’ mathematical reasoning abilities after being taught using an integrated problem-based learning model of numeracy literacy activities with students’ mathematical reasoning abilities using a problem-based learning model. This type of research is quasi-experimental design. The population is all grade IV elementary school students, Takalar. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The instrument uses a reasoning test. The results showed a difference in mathematical reasoning ability between students taught with an integrated problem-based learning model of numeracy literacy activities and students trained with problem-based learning. Abstract

Students’ interest in reading is increasingly demanded according to the challenges of the 21st century. However, students’ interest in reading decreases when technology develops, where the flow of data and information is getting faster and more complex. Therefore, there needs to be a learning model in the classroom to increase students’ reading interest. The study examines the RADEC learning model with the SQ3R learning model on students’ reading interests. This type of research is quantitative with quasi-experimental research. The research design used was a pre-test, post-test non-equivalent multiple group design. The population of this research is fifth-grade students in Tanete Rilau Subdistrict, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. Sampling was done randomly. The results showed that the average reading interest of students in the RADEC learning model was higher than in the SQ3R learning model. There is a significant difference between the RADEC learning model and the SQ3R learning model on interest in reading for fifth-grade elementary school. Abstract

The era of disruption significantly engineered a classic testing system into an adaptive testing system where each test taker takes a unique test. However, the carrying capacity of the adaptive testing system engineering is experiencing obstacles in terms of the method of presenting the test questions. The study aims to introduce the low-high adaptive tracking method with the item response theory approach, where the difficulty level of the questions is adapted to the test takers' abilities. The number of test questions in the question bank is 400 questions. Data analysis used the Bilog-MG program. The range of the difficulty level of the questions and the ability level of the test takers was determined [-3.3]. The initialization of the ability of each test taker is set flexibly. The test taker's response uses the pattern of all wrong, all true, and normal responses. The research results show that the low-high method with the IRT approach matches the pattern of the method of giving adaptive test questions. The low-high method requires about 17 test questions to find the ability of the test takers. Another characteristic of the low-high method is that if the responses of the test takers' three to five questions are all correct, then the calculation of divergent abilities is positive, and if the responses of the test takers' three to five questions are all wrong, then the calculation of convergent abilities is negative. Teachers can use the low-high method to design and assemble adaptive tests in schools electronically and manually.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trends in digital literacy models in primary education as part of the 21st-century competencies that need to be developed from an early age. A descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method was applied, involving 19 fifth-grade students of SDN 260 Kampung Baru as the sample. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires and teacher interviews, focusing on four key indicators of digital literacy: information searching, hypertext navigation, content evaluation, and knowledge assembly. The results showed that 68.4% of students were at a moderate level of digital literacy, while 31.6% were at a high level. The challenges identified included limited abilities in evaluating digital content and insufficient technical skills in managing information. Teachers emphasized the importance of strengthening digital literacy through curriculum integration, teacher training, adequate facilities, and active parental involvement. This study recommends the development of structured digital literacy-based learning to shape students into critical, creative, and responsible users of technology

Abstract

Tulisan ini memperkenalkan metode fuzzy c-means dalam mengklasifikasi konstruk tes. Untuk memverifikasi sifat unidimensional suatu tes biasanya menggunakan analisis faktor sebagai bagian dari statistik parametrik dengan beberapa persyaratan yang ketat sedangkan metode fuzzy c-means termasuk metode heuristik yang tidak memerlukan persyaratan yang ketat. Studi simulasi penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode yakni analisis faktor menggunakan program SPSS dan fuzzy c-means menggunakan program Matlab. Data simulasi menggunakan tipe data dikotomi dan politomi yang dibangkitkan lewat prog-ram Microsoft Office Excel dengan desain 2 kategori, yakni: tiga butir soal dengan banyak peserta tes 10, dan 30 butir soal dengan banyak peserta tes 100. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode fuzzy c-means lebih memberikan gambaran pengelompokan secara deskriptif dan dinamis pada semua desain yang telah dibuat dalam memverifikasi unidimensional pada suatu tes.Kata kunci: fuzzy c-means, analisis faktor, unidimensional_____________________________________________________________SIMULATION STUDY USING FUZZY C-MEANS FOR CLASIFYING TEST CONSTRUCTIONAbstract This paper introduces the fuzzy c-means method for classifying the test constructs. To verify the unidimensional a test typically uses factor analysis as part of parametric statistics with some strict requirements, while fuzzy c-means methods including method heuristic that do not require strict require-ments. Simulation comparison between the method of factor analysis using SPSS program and fuzzy c-means methods using Matlab. Simulation data using data type dichotomy and politomus generated through Microsoft Office Excel programs each with a number of 3 items using the number of participants 10 tests, while the number of 30 test items using the number as many as 100 participants. The simulation results show that the fuzzy c-means method provides a more descriptive and dyna-mic grouping of all the designs that have been made in verifying the unidimensional as a test.Keywords: fuzzy c-means, factor analysis, unidimensional
