Abstract

AbstractThe existance of information technology currently to higher education institution had become a necessity to support education processes. Manajemen Information Academic System (SIMAK) IPB is an aplication (software) that organize the whole academic activity processes namely compiling lectures’ schedules, re-registration through online KRS completion and academical data reports. The purpose of this study is to analyze the obstacles, analyzing the quality level of SIMAK IPB and to formulate recomendation of policy strategy to SIMAK IPB service improvement. Based on the result of SERVQUAL Gap analysis discover that performance degree of the services provide by Bogor Agricultural University was bigger than importance degree perceived by users of academic system in Bogor Agricultural University due to the SERVQUAL score valued >-0, which means the services provide by Bogor Agricultural University have already fulfill users’ expectation. The IPA resulted that in quadran A of Cartesian Diagram, based on students’ perception, there were 7 attributes which will become the main priority to be improved. Meanwhile, based on academic staffs’ perception indicated that there were 6 attributes that become the main priorityto be improved. The conclusion of this study users’ satisfaction degree to SIMAK IPB obtained from questionnaire deployment to students: average value of importance degree scored 3.34 (agree) and average value of performance degree scored 3.91 (satisfy). Meanwhile, the result obtained from questionnaire deployment among academic staff, average value of importance degree scored 3.33 (agree) and average value of performance degree scored 3.92 (satisfy) Keyword: academic information system, information system quality analysis, university system information, SIMAK

Abstract

AbstrakMobilitas sivitas akademik meliputi dosen dan mahasiswa serta reputasi ilmiah merupakan informasi strategis yang dibutuhkan dalam pelaporan kinerja perguruan tinggi. Menampilkan informasi tersebut dalam sebuahhalaman web dalam bentuk grafik akan memudahkan para eksekutif dalam menyusun rumusan strategi. Sistem informasi eksekutif dapat menjawab kebutuhan tersebut karena sistem informasi eksekutif sebagai bagian dari sistem pendukung manajemen menekankan informasi yang strategis yang dibentuk bagi eksekutif.Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi eksekutif berbasis web bernama SIMORI yang dapat diakses di halaman http://simori.ipb.ac.id dengan berbagai perangkat karena menerapkan responsive web design. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan pendekatan Executive Information System Life Cycle (EISLC). Abstract

The assistance program had not absorbed optimally yet for telematics Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). One of the reasons was the data of telematics MSME which still separated in the several institutions. This research aimed to selection of assistance feasibility attributes using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) data. This data attributes conformed to the criteria of assistance feasibility which was implemented among by Ministry of Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and related institutions. The attributes involved the characteristic of technology, economics, human resources, partnerships, obstacles, prospect and other common conditions. The process of data preparation was needed involving cleaning, discretization, description and transformation of data. The AHP technique aimed to produce rankings and the value of attributes. The finding of this research showed that start-up essence and technology factors became the crucial attributes in the feasibility assessment. The other factors were the economy, human resources, partnerships and development planning. The findings of this research had given the new innovations; in addition of the scope of related substance Telematics Service MSMEs which was still studied limitedly, and the selection technique of assessment feasibility attributes based on Susenas data.

Abstract

Ketika pertama kali mendengar diagnose autisme atau ASD pada anak mereka, orang tua seringkali merasa stress dan sangat membutuhkan dukungan sosial dari lingkungannya. Dukungan sosial menjadi penting agar orang tua dapat mengurangi stres dan mengurangi ketidakpastian terkait penanganan ASD pada anak mereka. Kehadiran komunitas virtual mempunyai implikasi yang cukup positif sebagai sarana bertukar informasi dan berkomunikasi dengan member lain yang memiliki masalah serupa tentang penanganan anak ASD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan informasi apa saja yang dipertukarkan pada komunitas virtual dan mengidentifikasi peran komunitas virtual untuk anak ASD. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode etnografi virtual. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan content analysis dilakukan di Facebook LRD Member Suar Autisme dengan meneliti 178 unggahan dan 3.569 komentar dan wawancara mendalam pada admin. Data kemudian dikoding dengan menggunakan software NVivo 12 Pro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran komunitas adalah untuk mendapatkan dukungan sosial, baik berupa dukungan informasi maupun dukungan emosi. Pencarian dukungan informasi (informational support) terdiri dari dua tema besar yakni Penanganan Medis dan Penanganan Psikososial, sedangkan pencarian dukungan emosi (emotional support) meliputi Sharing Experience, Reinforcement, Empathy, serta Build Optimism and Hope.

Abstract

Identification of plant disease is an important step to decide how it will control. This paper discusses the design and development of an expert system for identification of 12 general diseases of red pepper plant (Capsicum annum L.). Disease identification in this software system was based on the visual symptom of disease(s) in various plant growth stages, similar to the standard rules in plant protection science. The prototype of this software system was implemented by EXSYS Professional for Microsoft Windows (WINEXSYS) version 5.0 and worked under Windows '95 operation system. This software system is user-friendly and equipped by image-visualization that describe disease symptoms.

Abstract

The final step of this research was uploading the system in virtual FTP (File Transfer Protocol directory address /www/smipipb, and Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to access this site washttp://www.websamba.com/smipipb. The eveluation using the same browser engines indicutes that the system work as weN as in the local intranet. The knowledge base contains rules concerning the knowledge domain transformed and stored in the Microsoft Access data basejle. The main constribution of this research is to provide a multiuser software tool for hand tractor trouble shooting in the internet environment.

Abstract

Abstract The use of camera vision and real-time computation as plant identification tool has become an active research. Application of both methods can not be separated from a pretension that the computation must produce correct results within the specified time interval where the truth of the calculation depends not only on logical truth but also on the time in which results are produced. The purpose of this  study is to identify plants with fractal dimension analysis and the application of parallel computing. Fractal dimension analysis results showed that each plant has a typical Fractal dimension value. Filtration process with a small window size is accompanied by the use of multiple processors indicates that the image processing in parallel show results much faster than processing with a single processor.Keywords: camera vision, fractal dimension analisys, filtration, parallel computing Diterima: 24 Mei 2010; Disetujui: 13 September 2010

Abstract

Abstract Destructive impacts of herbicide usage on environment and water contamination have led to many researches oriented toward finding solutions for their accurate use. If density and weeds species could be correctly detected, patch spraying or spot spraying can effectively reduce herbicide usage. A precision automated machine vision for weed control could also reduce the usage of chemicals. Machine vision is a useful method for segmentation of different objects in agricultural applications, especially pattern recognition methods. Many indices have been investigated by researchers to perform weed segmentation based on color information of the images.  But there is no research that aims to identify weed diversity and its influence on the consumption of herbicides. The purpose of this research is to build a system that can recognize weeds and plants. In this study the relation between three main components (red, green and blue) of the images and color feature extraction (Hue, Saturation, Intensity) used to define weeds and plants density. Fractal dimension used as the methode to define  shape features to distinguish weeds and plants. Weeds and plants were segmented from background by obtaining H value and its shape was obtained by fractal dimension value. The results show fractal dimension value for weeds and plants has specific values. Corn plants have fractal dimension values in the range 1.148 to 1.268, peanut plants have fractal dimension values in the range 1.511 to 1.629, while the weeds have Fractal dimension values in the range 1.325 to 1.497. Abstract

Abstrack Coffee has good prospects as a motor of development in Indonesia agribusiness  and agroindustry, therefore needs to be handled properly and professionally. Grading process in commercial green coffee asgrain commodity is still done manually. This process has the disadvantage of low efficiency, objectivity and the level of consistency. Therefore weneed a machine that can workautomatically to classify the quality of the green coffee by visual inspection. Theobjective of this study was to design the  green coffee sorting machine controlled by a computer based on image processing program consisted of conveyor belt, the image capture station used twodigital cameras, and the parallelsimulator divider. The design of sorting machine was used for the development of the green coffee sorting system that will categorizeinto four quality classes based on the qualifications according to the standard of SCAA ( Specialty Coffee Association of America). Abstract

AbstractHuanglongbing is citrus disease which is a major threat for citrus orchard. Neither disease has a cure nor an efficient means of control. Early detection is important to prevent development and spread of the disease. The most effective detection used DNA test by PCR. However, identification used DNA test required sample preparation, time-consuming and expensive. The objective of this study was to build detection of healthy and HLB-infected leaves software. The leaf samples collected from citrus orchard in Situgede village, Bogor. Sampleleaves divided into three group, Huanglongbing-infected leaves, healthy leaves and asymptomatic leaves. All samples was tested by PCR for verification visual symptoms of huanglongbing. Vis-NIR spectrometer with a spectra range of 339 to 1022nm was used to acquisition HLB-infected and healthy leaves spectral data. MSC, SNV, baseline correction, first and second derivative were used for pretreatment method. Artificial neural network was used to build classification model. X-loading plot from principal component analysis was used to obtain sensitive wavelength. Classification for healthy and HLB-infected classs used sensitive wavelength baseline correction-based had the best performance and high accuracy (100%). The classification model was embedded in software PC-desktop based which was used visual basic programming language. Asymptomatic leaves spectral from HLB-positive tree were used to testing classification model. Model classified data into HLB-infected group, which was consistent with PCR test. The result from this study indicated that developed software could be used to HLB detection in early stage of disease.AbstrakHuanglongbing adalah penyakit jeruk yang merupakan ancaman utama bagi budidaya jeruk. Tidak ada pengendalian yang tepat untuk Huanglongbing. Deteksi dini penting untuk mencegah penyebaran dan pengembangan penyakit ini. Deteksi dini yang paling efektif menggunakan tes DNA dengan PCR. Namun, identifikasi menggunakan tes DNA memerlukan persiapan sampel, memakan waktu dan mahal. Tujuan daripenelitian ini adalah membangun perangkat lunak deteksi daun sehat dan terinfeksi HLB. Sampel daun dikumpulkan dari kebun jeruk di Desa Situ Gede, Bogor. Sampel daun dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, daun yang terinfeksi HLB, daun sehat dan daun belum bergejala. Semua sampel telah diuji dengan PCR untuk verifikasi gejala visual Huanglongbing. Spektrometer Vis-NIR dengan rentang spektrum dari 339-1022nm digunakanuntuk mengumpulkan data spektrum daun terinfeksi HLB dan sehat. MSC, SVN, baseline correction, turunan pertama dan kedua dari spektra digunakan sebagai metode praperlakuan. Jaringan syaraf tiruan digunakan untuk membangun model klasifikasi Plot X-loading dari analisis komponen utama digunakan untuk mendapatkan panjang gelombang sensitif. Klasifikasi terhadap kategori daun sehat dan sakit menggunakan panjang gelombang sensitif berbasis baseline correction memiliki nilai akurasi 100 % dan kinerja terbaik. Model klasifikasi yang ditanam pada perangkat lunak berbasis komputer desktop menggunakan bahasa pemrograman visualbasic. Data spektrum daun belum bergejala dari pohon positif terinfeksi HLB digunakan untuk menguji model klasifikasi. Model mengklasifikasikan data tersebut ke kelompok terinfeksi HLB, yang konsinten dengan hasil pengujian PCR yang juga mengelompokkan pada daun terinfeksi HLB. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat lunak dapat digunakan untuk deteksi HLB pada tahap awal perkembangan penyakit.
