Abstract

Adanya perubahan paradigma dalam mengkonsumsi bahan pangan menjadikan pola hidup sehat berkembang di masyarakat, hal ini mengakibatkan preferensi mengenai bahan pangan organik terus meingkat. Salah satu produk pangan yang mempunyai prospek untuk dikembangkan adalah beras organik. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting menganalisis proses bisnis untuk mengetahui kondisi dan permasalahan yang terdapat pada rantai pasok beras organik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses bisnis dan aliran rantai pasok beras organik di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Analisis rantai pasok dilakukan terhadap setiap aktivitas yang dilakukan selama proses produksi beras dari hulu hingga hilir. Kajian rantai pasok beras organik dilakukan di Kabupaten Bandung dan Tasikmalaya, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik Purposive Sampling digunakan dalam pemilihan lokasi dan responden berdasar pertimbangan bahwa lokasi adalah sentra produksi beras organik serta responden telah mewakili seluruh informasi yang dibutuhkan pada rantai pasok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui proses bisnis dan aktvitas rantai pasok. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa kondisi rantai pasok beras organik yang terbentuk belum optimal. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak terserapnya seluruh hasil panen petani ke industri penggilingan beras karena terbatasnya akses pasar dan modal yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Beras merupakan hasil pertanian yang banyak dikonsumsi oleh seluruh masyarakat di dunia. Di Indonesia, manajemen transparansi rantai pasok masih menjadi masalah utama karena belum tersedianya informasi yang dapat diakses seluruh anggota rantai pasok. Sangat sulit untuk mendapatkan informasi pada setiap aktor untuk keperluan pengawasan dimana hal ini menimbulkan risiko dan ketidakpastian. Ketelusuran menjadi kebutuhan penting untuk memastikan kualitas dan keamanan produk. Paper ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi rantai pasok beras di Indonesia dan mengusulkan pemodelan sistem ketelusuran menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rantai pasok beras terdiri dari lima aktor yang berperan. Transisi keadaan dalam proses produksi dan informasi ketelusuran telah diidendifikasi melalui Critical Traceability Point (CTP) yang menyajikan informasi produk, kualitas produk, dan semua transformasi. Lebih lanjut, persyaratan kebutuhan fungsional sistem dan kebutuhan informasi disajikan dalam sequence dan uml static diagram. Terakhir, arsitektur sistem diuraikan dalam paper ini untuk mewujudkan transparansi serta pengendalian kualitas dan keamanan produk.

Abstract

Tuna is one of the flagship export commodity from Indonesia which has special characteristics such as high perishable food and has a complex supply chain network. According to the characteristics, the potency of deterioration and cross contamination along the chain will be a challenge for every actor in tuna supply chain, to provide tuna product with the best quality and safe to consume. One of the tool to ensure the standard safety and quality is doing traceability system along tuna supply chain. It is very crucial because every actor in chain has a responsibility to ensure food safety and quality through handling, manufacturing, packaging, and transporting the product. The critical point that should be covered by traceability system in tuna supply chain includes temperature, content of histamine, quantity of TPC, and contents of bacterial pathogens like Salmonella, and the sanitation for workers, equipment and processing room. The Information Technology (IT) based tuna traceability system is proposed and discussed in this paper to optimizing the traceability system in tuna supply chain. This paper discusses the development of a traceability system architecture and prototype for tuna supply chains. The developed system prototype shows the functional capabilities required for backward and forward tracing of tuna fish transformation and movement along the chain involving many actors (from fishing vessels to retailers). The system also permits the monitoring of processes and products based on microbiological analysis and on existing SOPs owned by some actors in a a tuna supply chain. The implementation issues are also described in this paper.

Abstract

 The level of consumption of animal protein in Indonesia has been increasing. Unfortunately, this increase has not been balanced by the adequate rise stock production.  The use of closed house system for broiler production is very potential to contribute the increase of protein source. The purpose of this research is to build a knowledge management system broiler production management closed house system. Web-based system developed using PHP programming language, and Protégé as processing knowledge representation. This research has developed the concept of knowledge management system with ontology model of semantic network, among the results of this research is a conceptual model, knowledge maps, and prototype production management knowledge management website broiler closed house system. Knowledge management system is equipped with recording system applications. This application is useful to be able to see results in the production of a period of production. The prototype knowledge management website provides links consultancy services for farmers who want to ask about production management. The concept of knowledge management systems can be used as a basis for building a semantic website that can model the process and rules management broiler production closed house system.

Abstract

Weather monitoring and forecasting are very important in agricultural sectors. There are several data need to be collected in real-time to support weather monitoring and forecasting systems, such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall. The purpose of this research to develop a real-time weather monitoring system using a parallel computation approach and analyze the computational performance (i.e., speed up and efficiency) using the ARIMA model. The developed system wireless has been implemented on sensor networks (WSN) platform using Arduino and Raspberry Pi devices and web-based platform for weather visualization and monitoring. The experimental data used in our research work is a set of weather data acquired and collected from January until March 2017 in Bogor area. The result of this research is that the speed up of the using eight processors computation three times faster than using a single processor, with the efficiency of 50%.

Abstract

Variabilitas spasial sangat penting dalam pengelolaan pertanian skala besar seperti perkebunan. Informasi tentang variabilitas spasial lahan pertanian diperlukan untuk memastikan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengoperasian mesin pengolahan tanah. Studi ini mengusulkan sebuah model untuk menentukan distribusi spasial mendekati waktu nyata dan resolusi tinggi dari draft spesifik pengolahan tanah berdasarkan citra radar Sentinel-1A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dinamika spasial kadar air tanah dekat waktu nyata dengan fraksi debu dan liat pada lapisan olah tanah mempengaruhi sifat mekanik tahanan penetrasi tanah. Model Dubois telah diterapkan untuk menghitung kadar air tanah spasial berdasarkan Sentinel-1A. Model matematika untuk menghitung tahanan penetrasi tanah dikembangkan dari metode yang diusulkan menggunakan pendekatan regresi berganda berdasarkan data sampel yang dikumpulkan dari perkebunan tebu di kabupaten Kediri dan Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Kinerja model telah dihitung dan menunjukkan kinerja yang baik dengan nilai RMSE, MAPE dan akurasi masing-masing sebesar 0,235, 18,32% dan 81,68%. Distribusi spasial tahanan penetrasi tanah yang dihasilkan oleh model menjadi masukan penting dalam perhitungan draft spesifik pengolahan tanah berdasarkan pendekatan Kisu. Distribusi tahanan penetrasi dan draft spesifik pengolahan tanah dapat dihitung dan divisualisasikan menggunakan peta spasial. Peta sebaran draft spesifik pengolahan tanah membuktikan bahwa gaya yang bekerja per luas penampang tanah yang akan diolah bervariasi di seluruh area perkebunan tebu. Kontribusi masa depan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan dalam pemilihan mesin pertanian yang tepat untuk operasi pengolahan tanah di perkebunan tebu berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip pertanian presisi.

Abstract

Infrared thermal camera is an alternative and non-invasive method used to identify various physiological and pathological process related to body surface temperature changes.  The aim of this research was to study the body surface temperature pattern based on the observed regios. Three horses were randomly selected as animal experiments. Thermal image data was collected at 17.00 – 19.00 WIB for five days. Images were retrieved from seven regios: head, thorax, abdomen, and four lower legs. The result of horse A’s surface temperature in five days on head, thorax, abdomen, front left leg, front right leg, rear left leg, and rear right leg regios were 33.42, 33.49, 33.56, 31.30, 31.48, 31. 33.14, 31.34 °C, respectively. The resulf of horse B’s surface tempereture were 33.55, 33.65, 33.64, 31.45, 31.35, 31.53, 31.48 °C, respectively. The resulf of horse C’s surface tempereture were 33.45, 33.55, 33.60, 31.37, 31.45, 31.34, 31.42 °C, respectively. The result showed that difference on horse A’s rear left leg (p<0.05) because of inflamation. Inflamation recovery process on horse A occured on the fifth day, indicated by a drop in temperature and a change in colors on thermal image. Color noises on some images were color difference between objects and poor color saturation. Color noises on thermal images did not affect the results of temperature interpretation.

Abstract

Kopi spesialti dikenal dengan kopi berkualitas tinggi yang memiliki cita rasa khas yang bervariasi tergantung dimana kopi tersebut ditanam. Pencatatan informasi pada rantai pasok kopi di Indonesia masih secara manual menggunakan kertas. Tujuan penelitian ini merancang sistem ketertelusuran untuk menjamin keaslian dan kualitas kopi spesialti sebagai pengganti sistem manual. Perancangan sistem ketertelusuran dalam studi ini dikembangkan berdasarkan studi kasus rantai pasok kopi Arabika Java Preanger di CV Frinsa Agrolestari, Pangalengan, Jawa Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi lapangan untuk mengidentifikasi rantai pasok dan karakteristik kopi spesialti. Metode perancangan sistem ketertelusuran menggunakan UML dan ER Diagram dipadukan dengan konsep CBIS (Computer Bassed Information System). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang membentuk karakteristik kopi spesialti terjadi selama proses pra panen dan pasca panen, yaitu pencatatan buah kopi, pemanenan buah kopi masak merah, perambangan, kontrol kualitas pasca penggilingan, sortasi berdasarkan kepadatan, ukuran dan warna, serta kontrol kualitas biji kopi cacat primer dan sekunder. Kemudian merancang prototipe aplikasi ketertelusuran kopi spesialti berbasis website yang dapat diakses smartphone. Aktor yang terlibat dalam sistem yaitu petani, pengepul, pengolah, dan eksportir. Akuisisi data menggunakan QRCode (Quick Response Code) untuk mendukung sistem ketertelusuran.

Abstract

This study intends to determine geothermal anomalies area using remote sensing data in the form of Landsat 8 and ASTER satellite imagery data which have Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS). Through pre-processing like georeferencing, radiometric calibration, and atmospheric correction, the Landsat 8 TIRS and ASTER data were wont to invert the land surface temperature of the study area during the daytime and night time using the inversion of planck function and emissivity separation algorithm. Result shows the land surface temperatures during daytime and night time of four natural land cover —water, vegetation, built up area, and bare soil—were classified and analyzed. According to the results, vegetation and bare soil show relatively thermal anomalies during the day and comparatively cold anomalies during the night. Otherwise water shows relatively cold anomalies during the day and relatively thermal anomalies during the night. Meanwhile built up area shows relatively thermal anomalies during the day and cold anomalies during the night. Superimposed and calculating mean of the night and day surface temperature can adequately eliminate the relatively cold/thermal anomalies of land cover caused by solar radiation, thus effectively highlighting geothermal anomalies. Thus, Nine geothermal anomalies areas were successfully extracted.

Abstract

Cattle is meat-producing livestock of the large ruminant. The environmental conditions must remain in the thermoneutral zone because this affects livestock productivity. An environmental modification related to microclimate management is required through a misting system using a water sprinkler. The study was conducted in one of the barns of the Sekolah Peternakan Rakyat (SPR) Maju Bersama livestock group in Drokilo Village, Kedungadem District, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. The purpose of this study was to analyze the microclimate management of the barn through the misting system in order to improve the physiological response of cattle. The variables observed were the air temperature, air humidity, Temperature Humidity Index (THI), respiratory frequency, heart rate, rectal temperature, and body surface temperature. Body surface temperatures were measured on the face, back, and rump. The analytical method used in this was unpaired T-test five replications. The results showed that the average microclimate data for barn cattle were: air temperature 27.40±0.59°C, air humidity 83.92±1.55%, and Temperature Humidity Index (THI) 79.59±1.06. The results showed that the average physiological response data for cattle were: heart rate 47.02±2.29 beats per minute, respiration rate 16.94±1.26 beats per minute, and rectal temperature 38.65±0.27°C. The results showed that the average body surface temperature data for the face was 37.03±0.38°C, the back was 36.33±0.59°C, and the rump was 36.28±0.68°C. The results showed that the treatment before and after the morning measurement water misting was significantly different (p<0.05) in all the observed variables. Water misting has the effect on decreasing the air temperature, humidity, Temperature Humidity Index (THI), respiratory rate, heart rate, body temperature, and rectal temperature.
