Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the Effect of Work Ethics and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance and Organizational Commitment as Intervening Study Variables at the North Sumatra Governor's Office of the Economic Bureau directly or indirectly. The approach used in this study is an associative approach. The population in this study was all employees of the North Sumatra Governor's Office, which amounted to 60 people. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, documentation studies, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses a quantitative approach using statistical analysis using the Auter Model Analysis test, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Test. Data processing in this study used a PLS (Partial Least Square) software program. The results of this study prove that directly organizational culture and job satisfaction Work Ethics and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through intervening variables of organizational commitment of the North Sumatra Governor's Office of the Economic Bureau. In other words, organizational commitment does play a role as amediator.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Organizational Climate on Employee Job Satisfaction with Work Ethics as a moderating variable of the study at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum either directly or indirectly. The approach used in this study is an associative approach. The population in this study were 2.057 employees of PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum while the sample in this study were 30 employees of PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, documentation studies, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used the partial least square – structural question model (PLSSEM), Hypothesis Testing (t test and F test), and the coefficient of determination.  The results of this study prove that the organizational climate is directly significant to employee job satisfaction and directly work ethics does not moderate the effect of organizational climate on employee job satisfaction at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance. To find out and analyze organizational citizenship behavior that mediates the effect of work motivation on employee performance and job satisfaction on employee performance. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study was the entire administrative workforce of Dr Pringadi Hospital, Medan City, amounting to 107 people. The number of samples used in this study using the Slovin formula with a total sample of 52 employees. The data used in this study is primary data by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis technique using statistical methods. The statistical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Keywords: Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance, Organization Citizenship Behavior

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of Return On Assets, Current Ratio, and Debt To Asset Ratio on Firm Value and how the role of Firm Size as a moderating variable in the effect of Return On Assets, Current Ratio, and Debt To Asset Ratio on Firm Value in Sub-Companies. Large Trading Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2020. This research approach is an associative approach, where the total company population is 51 companies with a sampling technique, namely Purposive Sampling so that a sample of 10 large trading sub-sector companies are obtained which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020, and the financial statements taken are secondary data. , which is obtained from the www.idx.co.id website, and the data that has been collected will be analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis & Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) accompanied by partial hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. data processing using IBM SPSS Statistic 21. The results show that Return On Assets has a significant effect on Firm Value, Current Ratio has an insignificant but not significant effect on Firm Value, Debt To Asset Ratio has an insignificant effect on Firm Value, Firm Size does not moderate the effect of Return On Assets to Firm Value, Firm Size does not moderate the effect of Current Ratio on Firm Value, Firm Size does not moderate the effect of Debt To Asset Ratio on Firm Value in large trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2016-2020. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of organizational climate on employee performance, the effect of work motivation on employee performance, the effect of organizational climate on OCB, the effect of work motivation on OCB, the effect of OCB on employee performance, the influence of organizational climate on employee performance through OCB, and the effect of work motivation on employee performance through OCB. This research uses associative research with a sample of 66 respondents who are employees of BPSDM North Sumatra Province. Data collection techniques using interviews and a list of statements such as questionnaires and data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (SmartPls) to test the seven hypotheses proposed in this study. The results of the research show that organizational climate has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, the organizational climate has a significant effect on OCB, work motivation has a significant effect on OCB, OCB has a significant effect on employee performance, the organizational climate does not affect employee performance through OCB. (In other words, OCB does not act as a mediator), work motivation does not affect employee performance through OCB (In other words, OCB does not act as a mediator).

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to produce a model for improving the quality of graduates and the competitiveness of private tertiary institutions based on spiritual capital by paying attention to and utilizing their spiritual capitalMethodology - This research was only conducted at the 15 best private universities in North Sumatra. The sample size for SEM using the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) estimation model is 100-200 samples. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this study is factor analysis and the Structural Equation Modeling method using SEM-PLS softwareFindings - The results of the study show that there is a significant influence from Leadership and Good University Governance on Graduate Quality. There is a significant influence of Leadership and Good University Governance on Competitiveness. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Graduate Quality moderated by Spiritual Capital and there is a significant influence of the moderating effect of Spiritual Capital on the relationship between Good University Governance and Competitiveness.Originality/Novelty - The research model uses five (5) variables and applies the concept of mediation, where each relationship in the research model is analyzed with SEM-PLS.Implications - This study has shown that Spiritual Capital has a moderating effect on the influence. of Leadership and Good University Governance on Competitiveness. Starting from the results of this study, the recommendation for further research is to try to analyze or use the Spiritual Capital variable as an independent variable, not as a moderating variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivational commitment, motivational interaction, the effect of commitment on employee performance, the effect of work on employee performance, the effect of motivation on employee performance and the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance through motivation as an intervention variable at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Witel Medan. In this study using associative research with a sample of 43 respondents who are permanent employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Witel Medan. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire, to analyze the data and information needed, the authors use path analysis techniques used for testing using Partial Least Square (Smart PLS). The results showed that organizational commitment had a significant positive effect on work motivation, work engagement had a positive but not significant effect on work motivation, commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work engagementhad a positive and significant effect on employees, work motivation had a significant positive effect on performance. employees, organizational commitment that has a positive and significant effect on employees through work motivation and work engagement which has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Witel Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Leader Member Exchange dan job embededness terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior pada tenaga Administrasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis asosiatif dan kuantitatif. Lokasi tempat penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang ada di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara dengan jumlah 350  karyawan, Metode pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode non probability sampling dengan jumlah sample 187 karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara, sedangja teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, Leader member exchange berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Pada Tenaga Administrasi Universitas Muhammadiyah  Sumatera Utara. Secara parsial, Job Embeddedness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Pada Tenaga Administrasi Universitas Muhammadiyah  Sumatera Utara, dan secara simultan Leader member exchange dan job embeddedness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Pada Tenaga Administrasi Universitas Muhammadiyah  Sumatera Utara. Kata kunci: Leader Member Exchange, Job Embeddedness, Organizationl Citizenship Behaviour

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah guna menguji dan  menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi, promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. Pendekatan yang dipilih pada penelitian berikut yakni pendekatan assosiatif. Populasi pada penelitian berikut ialah semua karyawan tetap PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan dimana bertotal 333 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian berikut yakni dengan rumus slovin dimana didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 182 orang karyawan tetap pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian berikut yakni dengan teknik observasi serta kuisioner. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan analisis statistik melalui penggunaan uji Analisis Auter Model, Analisis Inner Model, serta Uji Hipotesis. Pengolahan data pada penelitian berikut yakni dengan program software PLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil penelitian berikut mengungkapkan hipotesis secara langsung bahwa iklim organisasi, Promosi jabatan berpengatuh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Promosi jabatan, iklim organisasi secara tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap kinjer karyawan dimediasi kepuasan kerja, dengan demikian bahwa kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Kata Kunci: Structual Equation Modelling (SEM), Part Least Square (PLS),   Iklim Organisasi, Promosi Jabatan, Kinerja Karyawan dan Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract

This study aims to examine the antecedents of Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Service Quality. This study used an explanatory research approach, which aims to explain the causal relationship between the research variables and the test hypothesis. The population in this study were all employees from the 5 best private Islamic universities in North Sumatra and the sample size in this study was 200 employees. The data analysis method used in this research is factor analysis and the Structural Equation Model. The results of the study showed that work ethics, organizational commitment and motivation have a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a significant positive effect on Service Quality at Private Universities in North Sumatra.
