Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio,  Return On Equity terhadap Financial Distress pada Perusahaan Sektor Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013-2017. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian inilah dengan menggunakan pendekatan asosiatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) khusus perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013-2017 dengan mengumpulkan data laporan keuangan yang tersedia disitus resmi www.idx.co.id. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang berjumlah 20 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2013-2017.  Dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitiaan ini berjumlah 10 dari 20 perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2017. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Current Ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress. Secara parsial Debt To Equity Ratio dan Return On Equity tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress pada Perusahaan Sektor Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sedangkan, secara simultah hasil Current Ratio, Debt To Equity dan Return On Equity berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress pada Perusahaan Sektor Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.

Abstract

 Objectives: This study aims to examine the process of forming Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in employees. This study uses job satisfaction as a mediating variable to clarify the mechanism of the influence of servant leadership and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).Methodology: This study uses a causal type of research using a quantitative approach with a sample of 67 respondents who are employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Branch TPK Perawang Pekanbaru.  To evaluate the seven hypotheses put out in this study, data was collected via interviews and a list of assertions, such as questionnaires and data analysis methods employing Partial Least Square (SmartPls).Findings: The results of this study indicate that servant leadership and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Job satisfaction also plays a role in mediating the influence of servant leadership and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.Conclusion: This study examines how servant leadership and organizational culture influence employee job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior to achieve company goals. As a result, this condition is undoubtedly a source of concern for the company in terms of improving leadership and aligning all employees' perceptions of the organizational culture system that will be implemented in the company.

Abstract

Organizational justice, job satisfaction and employee performance are an important thing to consider in managing employees. Good organizational justice must be considered because organizational justice can affect job satisfaction and performance which makes employees feel like they want to give their best effort and join the struggle together to achieve organizational goals. This study aims to see whether job satisfaction mediates the influence of organizational justice on employee performance in the field of expenditure budget and the secretariat at the regional financial and asset management agency of North Sumatra province. Sample of this research is all permanent employees of the regional office of the Directorate General of Treasury of North Sumatra province, which may be 84 people. The results showed that organizational justice had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of the regional financial and asset management agency of North Sumatra province. Job satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at the regional financial and asset management agency of North Sumatra province. Organizational justice has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of the regional financial and asset management agency of North Sumatra province. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of organizational justice on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Model Based on Organizational Culture is mediated by Learning Organizations and Organizational Commitment. The sample size in this study was tailored to the analytical model used, namely Structural Equation Modeling utilizing the Maximum Likelihood Estimate (MLE) estimation model requires 100-200 samples. As a result, the sample size for this study was 200 permanent lecturers at Private Universities in North Sumatra. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that Organizational Culture, Learning Organization, and Organizational Commitment had a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Organizational Culture and Learning Organization had a significant positive effect on Organizational Commitment. Learning organizations mediated positively the effect of Organizational Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Commitment mediate the effect of Organizational Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of destination image and tourist facilities on Revisit Intention and Recommendation Intention through Domestic Tourist Satisfaction at Lake Toba Tourism Destinations. The population in this study is domestic tourists. This study will be tested on tourists visiting tourist destinations on Lake Toba during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample size in this study was calculated from the size of the indicator multiplied by 5 to 10. Because this study used 4 construct variables with a total of 55 indicators, the sample required in this study was at least 55 x 5 = 275, people. The types of data collected to support the variables studied are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis method used is the Structural Equation Model from the LISREL 8.80 statistical software package. The results of the study show that the image of tourist destinations and facilities has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction. Tourism facilities have a significant positive effect on Recommended Intention. Destination Image and Tourist Satisfaction have a significant positive effect on Revisit Intention. Tourist satisfaction has a positive effect on recommended intention significantly. Satisfaction can positively mediate the effect of Destination Image on Revisit Intention and tourist satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of tourist facilities on the Revisit Intention of Domestic Tourists at Lake Toba Tourism Destinations.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aimed to investigate and analyze the direct and indirect impact of spiritual leadership, self-efficacy, locus of control, and the job satisfaction of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) employees on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Methodology – This quantitative research was conducted involving data from 61 employees through questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model SMART PLS 3.0. Findings – The findings demonstrated that OCB is significantly positively influenced by spiritual leadership, self-efficacy, locus of control, and job satisfaction. Meanwhile, job satisfaction is significantly positively impacted by spiritual leadership, self-efficacy, locus of control, and OCB. This parameter also mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and locus of control with OCB. Originality – This research examined OCB, which has a broad and significant impact on company performance. It also provided better comprehension concerning the relationship of spiritual leadership, self-efficacy, locus of control, and job satisfaction on this indicator.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyze the effect of organizational justice on employee performance. Analyzing the effect of organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance, analyzing the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior on the effect of distributive justice on employee performance and analyzing the mediating role of organizational citizenship behavior on the effect of procedural justice on employee performance at the Center for the Development of Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electrical Fields, Medan. This type of research is associative. The approach used is associative and quantitative. So based on a population of 150 people, the sample taken is 122 people. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires. This data will be analyzed with a quantitative approach using statistical analysis, namely the partial least square - structural inquiry model (PLS- SEM). The results showed that Distributive Justice had a positive but not significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Procedural Justice has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Distributive Justice has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Procedural Justice has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational Citizenship Behavior cannot mediate or mediate the effect of Distributive Justice on Employee Performance. Organizational Citizenship Behavior mediates or mediates the effect of Procedural Justice on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Purpose − This study examines and analyses the effect of Leader-Member Exchange on job satisfaction through organizational commitment and perceptions of organizational support at the North Sumatra BKKBN Office directly and indirectly.Methodology − The approach used in this study is an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees at the North Sumatra BKKBN Office. The sample in this study used the saturated sample method, totalling 91 employees at the North Sumatra BKKBN Office. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study used a quantitative approach using SEM_PLS.Findings − The results of this study indicate that Leader-Member Exchange, organizational commitment and Perceived organization support have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, Leader-Member Exchange, have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and perceived organization support, Leader-Member Exchange has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction through Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support at the North Sumatra BKKBN Office.Originality/Novelty − This study examines LMX as a more comprehensive predictor of job satisfaction and then explicitly explores the importance of organizational commitment and perceived support as mediators in the relationship between LMX and job satisfaction.Implications −This research has shown that organizational commitment and perceived organizational support mediate the effect of Leader-Member Exchange on job satisfaction through organizational commitment. The recommendation for further research is to analyze or use the variable perceived organization support as an independent variable, not as a mediating variable

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the effect of price discount (x1), and hedonic shopping motivation (x2), on impulse buying (y) with positive emotion (z) as a mediating variable at UNIQLO in Medan City. This study used a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses a PLS-based SEM approach with SmartPLS 4.0. The population and sample of this study are all UNIQLO consumers in Medan City, totaling 96 people. The results of this study indicate that price discounts positively and significantly affect positive emotion, hedonic shopping motivation positively and significantly influences positive emotion, price discounts do not have a significant effect on impulse buying, hedonic shopping motivation positively and significantly influences impulse buying, positive emotion with a positive and significant influence on impulse buying, price discounts do not have a significant effect on impulse buying through positive emotion, and hedonic shopping motivation positively and significantly influences impulse buying through positive emotion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Lifestyle, Self-Concept and Peer Groups on Consumptive behavior, and to examine the role of Financial Literacy in moderating the influence of Lifestyle, Self-Concept and Peer Groups on Consumptive behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach. To determine the size of the sample used Maximum Likelihood estimation in the Structural Equation Model (SEM) of 100-200 samples, then researchers will take a sample of 100-200 respondents to fulfill one of the requirements for a data analysis approach using SEM. As a result, as many as 167 students were used as research samples. The results of the study show that lifestyle, self-concept and peer groups have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior. Financial Literacy does not play a role in moderating the effect of Lifestyle and self-concept on Consumptive behavior. Financial Literacy plays a role in moderating the influence of Peer Groups on Consumptive behavior.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/afr.v5i3.9514
