Abstract

The research aims to analyze several things, namely the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior, the influence of organizational justice on job satisfaction, the influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, and the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior through job satisfaction. This research uses associative research with 114 respondents who are employees at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 Belawan Branch. The data collection technique uses a list of statements, such as a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique uses Path Analysis to test the four hypotheses proposed in this research using the Partial Least Square (SmartPls) application. The research results show that the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior is positive and significant, the influence of organizational justice on job satisfaction is positive and significant, the influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior is positive and significant, the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior through job satisfaction is positive and significant ( meaning that job satisfaction mediates the influence of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior).

Abstract

This study aims to study the factors that influence the Professionalism and Ethical Behavior of Auditors at BPKP North Sumatra and produce a model of Mediation of Professionalism on the Influence of Moral Intensity and Religiosity on Auditor Ethical Behavior at BPKP North Sumatra. This research is basic (basic research). The strategy employs a quantitative approach. The sample includes all BPKP North Sumatra internal auditors. Using a technique called "saturated sampling," criteria from all internal auditors were used as samples. One hundred forty-three internal auditors were chosen as the final sample. The method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that moral intensity has a positive effect on internal auditor professionalism, religiosity has a positive effect on internal auditor professionalism, moral intensity has a positive effect on ethical decision making, religiosity has a positive effect on ethical decision making, Internal Auditor professionalism has a positive effect on ethical decision making, the moral intensity does not have a significant effect on ethical decision making through Internal Auditor Professionalism and religiosity does not have a significant effect on ethical decision making through Internal Auditor Professionalism

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to test and analyze the effect of work engagement and emotional intelligence on personnel performance through job satisfaction directly or indirectly.Methodology – The approach used in this research is causal. The population in this study were all personnel of the Medan City Police Resort Detective section. This study used a saturated sample of 98 people, all personnel of the Medan City Police Resort Detective Section. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation, observation, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses a quantitative approach using statistical analysis using SEM-PLS using the PLS (Partial Least Square) 4.0 software program.Findings – The results of this study indicate that directly, work engagement, emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction have a significant effect on personnel performance, work engagement, and emotional intelligence have a significant impact on personnel job satisfaction, and indirectly, work attention and emotional intelligence have a significant effect on personnel performance through job satisfaction.Originality/Novelty – Combining two main concepts, namely work engagement and emotional intelligence, in one research model can provide a deeper understanding of the complexity of the relationship between the variables of work engagement, emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and employee performance.Implications – Provides valuable insights for Human Resources Management (HRM) practitioners about the importance of work engagement and emotional intelligence in improving employee performance. HRM can use these findings to develop more effective recruitment, training, and development strategies.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze several aspects, including the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance, the influence of work-life balance on work engagement, the influence of work engagement on in-role performance, the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance mediated by work engagement, and the influence of work-life balance on work engagement moderated by self-efficacy. This study adopts an associative research design with a sample of 40 respondents who are employees at PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Belmera Medan Branch. Data collection techniques involve statement lists such as questionnaires, and data analysis utilizes Path Analysis. The Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) application tests the five hypotheses proposed in this study. The research findings indicate that the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance is positive and significant, the influence of work-life balance on work engagement is positive and significant, the influence of work engagement on in-role performance is positive and significant, the influence of work-life balance on in-role performance mediated by work engagement is positive and significant (implying that work engagement mediates the influence of work-life balance on role performance). The influence of work-life balance on work engagement moderated by self-efficacy is positive and significant (indicating that self-efficacy moderates the influence of work-life balance on work engagement).

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia has caused disruption in all sectors, including the economic sector. One of the economic sectors currently in the spotlight is the declining per capita income, while consumption must continue to run to meet daily life. The study aims to identify the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the aspects of consumption, cash flow management, saving, investment, and credit management. In addition, it measures whether there are differences in the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and after the covid-19 pandemic, so that it can be a reference for what form of financial behavior should be. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is certainly a force majeure situation that can occur anytime and anywhere. Even though there are still many other force majeure events that can occur. It is a quantitative approach, with a statistically correlated parametric test (t test), if the data is not normal, then the Wilcoxon test is carried out. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were significant differences between the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to investigate and assess the effect of person-organization fit (POF) on employee performance (EP), with job satisfaction (JS) and organizational commitment (OC) acting as mediators. Methodology – Questionnaires were used in this quantitative study, to obtain information from 61 employees, with subsequent analysis implementing the Structural Equation Model SmartPLS 4.0. Results – The results showed that EP was significantly influenced by POF, JS, and OC. This indicated that POF relevantly influenced employee JS. POF and JS also significantly influenced OC. Moreover, the compatibility between employees and organization significantly influenced EP through JS and OC. POF also substantially influenced OC, mediated by JS. Based on the mediation by OC, JS then significantly influenced EP. Originality – This study investigated the employee issues that significantly and widely impacted organizational performance. It also provided a deeper comprehension of the personal relationships between organization fit, employee engagement, and JS.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and evaluate the direct or indirect effects of leader-member exchange on work engagement and job satisfaction on employee performance. The study encompassed 215 employees who worked at the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Medan City, with 140 employees constituting the sample size. Questionnaires and interviews were employed in this study's data collection process. SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) 4.0 software is utilized for structural equation modeling in statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that direct leader-member exchange, work engagement and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance. Leader-member ex-change has a significant effect on performance through work engagement and employee job satisfaction at the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Medan City. This research provides information for the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Medan City and related parties to improve employee performance by increasing job satisfaction, and work engagement and improving existing leadership to provide employee comfort.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of a Person's Organizational Fit and Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavior moderated by Job Embeddedness. The approach used in this research is associative. The population in this study was 30 employees of the Medan City National Land Agency Office. In comparison, the sample in this study was 30 employees of the Medan City National Land Agency Office using a saturated sample. The data collection methods employed in this research encompassed the use of documentation, observation, and questionnaires. The research employs a quantitative approach to data analysis, utilizing statistical techniques such as Outer Model Analysis, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. The research employs the PLS (Partial Least Square) software program for data processing. This research indicates that a Person's Organizational Fit and Perceived Organizational Support significantly influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Job Embeddedness moderates the influence of personal organizational Fit and Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavior at the Medan City National Land Agency Office

Abstract

Pemasaran Digitaal merupakan suatu terobosan yang dilakukan untuk peningkatan hasil penjualan para pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Medan Tembung. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Pelatihan yang diberikan kepada para pelaku UMKM Lengkong di Kecamata Medan Tembung. Hasil nya adalah para pelaku UMKM mendapat pengetahuan tentang pentingnya pemasaran/promosi bagi uasha yang mereka jalankan, karena dengan dilakukannya pemasaran/promosi ke media digital para pedagang dapat mengenalkan produknya ke dunia media hingga dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan untuk memperluas usaha mereka. Digital Marketing is a breakthrough made to increase sales results for MSME players in Medan Tembung District. This community service activity uses training methods provided to Lengkong MSMEs in Medan Tembung District. The result is that MSME players gain knowledge about the importance of marketing/promotion for the business they run, because by marketing/promoting on digital media, traders can introduce their products to the world of media so they can increase sales and expand their business.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kel. Sei Kera Hilir I & II Kec Medan Perjuangan Kota Medan Melalui Usaha Bersama Pembuatan Aneka Makanan Ringan bertujuan untuk melakukan pembinaan dan menciptakan wirausaha baru di Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan melalui pemberdayaan ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang tidak produktif menjadi ibu rumah tangga yang produktif, meningkatkkan keterampilan produksi anake makanan ringan berupa aneka peyek cetakan, memberikan pembelajaran manajemen usaha dan pemasaran. Pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan bersama dengan para Mitra ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang berkeinginan menjadi wirausaha terdiri dari dua kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga, tiap kelompok terdiri dari 3 orang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Jalan Pimpinan Gg Salam No. 1 Kel Sei Kera Hilir I dan Jalan M Yacob Gg Hasiba No. 1 Kel Sei Kera Hilir II Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan Kota Medan. Tahapan kegiatan PKM terdiri dari tahap persiapan/observasi, tahap pembentukan kelompok usaha, tahap Pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi. Metode Pendekatan dalam pelaksanaan PKM meliputi pendekatan participatory learning, pendekatan Participatory, pendekatan struktural. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat adalah menghasilkan olahan anek peyek, perbaikan tata nilai masyarakat berupa ketentaraman.
