Abstract

The furniture manufacturing industry plays a crucial role in the global economy, driven by changing consumer lifestyles, urbanization, and the rapid expansion of the property sector. As demand for high-quality and eco-friendly furniture rises, ensuring high team member engagement becomes essential for maintaining productivity and innovation. This study examines the impact of supervisor support, Meaningful Work, and happiness at work on team member engagement in the furniture industry. Using the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) theory, this research explores how job resources enhance engagement by increasing motivation and reducing job demands. Data were collected through team member surveys in furniture companies and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that supervisor support, Meaningful Work, and happiness at work significantly influence team member engagement, with happiness at work emerging as the strongest predictor. This study contributes to the literature by integrating the JD-R theory within the furniture industry context. The findings suggest that organizations should implement strategies that foster team member happiness, create meaningful work experiences, and strengthen supervisor support to enhance engagement and overall performance.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara abusive supervision dan turnover intention melalui pendekatan systematic literature review. Sebanyak 29 artikel dari penelitian kuantitatif yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019-2024 dan diakses melalui database Scopus dianalisis secara mendalam. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang konsisten antara abusive supervision dengan turnover intention karyawan. Teori pertukaran sosial (social exchange theory) dan teori konservasi sumber daya (conservation of resources theory) digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana perilaku abusive dari atasan mengancam sumber daya karyawan dan memicu keinginan untuk meninggalkan organisasi. Tinjauan ini juga mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang memediasi hubungan tersebut, seperti emosi negatif, kelelahan emosional, tekanan psikologis, kepuasan kerja, dan job embeddedness. Selain itu, ditemukan pula peran moderator dari atribut individu (seperti power-distance orientation, kepribadian) dan faktor kontekstual (seperti dukungan HR, otonomi, workaholism rekan kerja) dalam memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruh abusive supervision terhadap turnover intention. Berdasarkan temuan ini, beberapa saran untuk penelitian mendatang diusulkan, meliputi penggunaan desain longitudinal, perluasan ke berbagai konteks budaya dan industri, eksplorasi mekanisme pemediasi dan pemoderasi alternatif, serta pengujian efektivitas intervensi untuk mengurangi turnover intention akibat abusive supervision. Implikasi manajerial juga dibahas, dengan penekanan pada pengembangan kebijakan anti-abuse, pelatihan kepemimpinan, penciptaan iklim suportif, serta pemantauan proaktif indikator turnover intention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran kemampuan komunikasi dalam pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan organisasi pada era 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-interpretatif melalui kajian pustaka. Sumber data diperoleh dari berbagai literatur akademik yang relevan, termasuk jurnal-jurnal yang diakses melalui platform seperti Google Scholar dan ScienceDirect. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi yang baik di dalam organisasi melibatkan beberapa aspek penting, seperti kepercayaan antar anggota, peningkatan kepercayaan diri karyawan, kredibilitas, akuntabilitas, dan komunikasi terbuka. Model pemberdayaan yang diterapkan secara efektif mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja, suasana kerja yang harmonis, dan pencapaian kinerja yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulannya, komunikasi yang efektif merupakan kunci utama dalam pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia. Dengan komunikasi yang terbuka dan terstruktur, organisasi dapat mencapai tujuan bersama lebih efisien dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawannya. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Komunikasi, Sumber Daya Manusia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk meninjau secara sistematis penelitian sebelumnya mengenai knowledge hiding, dimana seringkali terjadi di berbagai sektor organisasi. Studi ini juga bertujuan untuk memenuhi kesenjangan dalam literatur dan memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai perilaku pengetahuan kontraproduktif dengan berfokus pada konseptualisasi dari knowledge hiding yang dijelaskan melalui dimensi perilaku penyembunyian pengetahuan, pengembangan konsep knowledge hiding di berbagai sektor organisasi, penggunaan teori, metodologi, anteseden dan konsekuensi, serta peran mediasi knowledge hiding dalam hubungan keduanya tersebut. Penelitian ini mencari artikel mengenai knowledge hiding melalui tiga basis data elektronik, yaitu SCOPUS, Web of Science, dan CINAHL yang dipublikasikan dari tahun 2012-2024 dengan menerapkan beberapa kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi yang telah ditentukan untuk memperoleh artikel yang relevan. Penelitian ini kemudian memperoleh 19 studi dari 313 artikel yang ditemukan, dan menemukan bahwa knowledge hiding adalah perilaku kontraproduktif yang dipicu oleh beberapa faktor dan berdampak pada hasil berkaitan dengan pekerjaan karyawan yang mekanismenya dijelaskan melalui beberapa teori.

Abstract

Leadership transformation and workforce flexibility in police institutions have become crucial issues in the rapidly evolving digital era. This article examines the legal perspectives on leadership changes and workforce adaptation in police institutions based on state law and Islamic law. Using a normative juridical approach, this study explores how modern regulations and Islamic legal principles support leadership reform and workforce flexibility to enhance police effectiveness and professionalism. The findings indicate that state law provides a dynamic regulatory framework to support leadership transformation and workforce flexibility, while Islamic law offers ethical and justice-based leadership principles that strengthen institutional integrity. The implications of this study highlight the importance of synergy between state law and Islamic law in formulating police policies that are responsive to digitalization challenges and social changes. Thus, this study underscores that technology-based leadership transformation and workforce flexibility, when supported by clear regulations and strong legal principles, can enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of police institutions in carrying out their duties in the digital era.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key element in maintaining competitive advantage in human resources, especially in competitive banking sectors such as PT Bank BRI Rajawali Surabaya Branch. This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), work environment, and organizational culture on employee performance. The method used is a quantitative approach through a survey of 100 employees from various divisions. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 25. The research results indicate that OCB, work environment, and organizational culture significantly influence employee performance. These findings indicate that improvements in employee performance are more determined by voluntary work behavior and supportive work conditions, as well as internalized organizational cultural norms. This study recommends strengthening OCB, improving the work environment, and organizational culture as strategies for enhancing performance at the branch level.

Abstract

The rapid advancements in the industrial revolution 4.0 have reshaped business paradigms, prompting organizations to undergo transformative changes to maintain competitiveness. One critical factor for sustaining competitive advantage is innovation, which is closely tied to the effective utilization of knowledge resources, particularly tacit knowledge. Tacit knowledge, derived from individual experiences, is considered a vital asset due to its unique and non-replicable characteristics. This study aims to investigate the role of tacit knowledge sharing in enhancing employee innovation across various industrial sectors. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology, this research synthesizes findings from numerous studies published between 2019 and 2024 to explore the relationship between tacit knowledge sharing and employee innovation. The review addresses three primary questions: the development of research in this field, implementation strategies in specific industries, and factors influencing the effectiveness of tacit knowledge sharing. Results reveal that tacit knowledge sharing significantly boosts employee innovation through improved creativity and problem-solving capabilities. However, its effectiveness depends on factors such as organizational culture, employee motivation, and interaction opportunities. Practical recommendations are provided to optimize knowledge-sharing processes, ultimately supporting organizational innovation and competitiveness in an era of rapid technological change.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Penelitian ini membahas peran penting kepemimpinan transformasional berbasis kolaborasi dalam meningkatkan agility tim dan kinerja organisasi di sektor manufaktur. Dalam konteks industri yang dinamis dan dipenuhi disrupsi teknologi, kepemimpinan yang mampu menginspirasi, memberdayakan, dan mendorong inovasi menjadi krusial. Pemimpin transformasional tidak hanya memberikan arah strategis, tetapi juga membangun budaya organisasi yang adaptif melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Metode: Studi yang dilaksanakan mengadopsi metodologi Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk meninjau serta melaksanakan analisis studi-studi sebelumnya yang relevan dengan topik ini. Hasil: Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional yang terintegrasi dengan kepemimpinan kolaboratif dan digital (Digital Transformational Leadership) berkontribusi pada peningkatan agility organisasi. Temuan ini mencakup peningkatan inovasi, percepatan adopsi teknologi, penguatan sinergi tim lintas fungsi, serta perbaikan proses pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu, praktik manajemen pengetahuan yang didukung kepemimpinan ini juga mempercepat respons organisasi terhadap perubahan pasar. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya gaya kepemimpinan yang fleksibel, adaptif, dan kolaboratif untuk menciptakan organisasi manufaktur yang tangguh dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Objective: This study develops a quantitative model that integrates digital leadership, innovative work behavior, and employee performance, while also examining the moderating effect of creativity from the perspective of Upper Echelons Theory. Design/Methods/Approach: This study employs PLS-SEM to examine the relationships among variables, using data collected from full-time Gen Z and Gen Y employees across various industries. Findings: The study shows that digital leadership positively and significantly influences innovative work behavior, which also exerts a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, digital leadership directly enhances employee performance. The results further indicate that innovative work behavior partially mediates the effect of digital leadership on employee performance. Finally, the moderating analysis suggests that high levels of employee creativity weaken the relationship between digital leadership and employee performance. Originality/Value: This study contributes to existing literature on the field of leadership in the perspective of Upper Echelons Theory, especially that focus on the field of digital leadership. Practical/Policy implication: Theoretical aspects of the study advance our understanding of digital leadership and its mechanisms. For practice, the results provide actionable guidance for top management, particularly in organizations that employ Gen Z and Gen Y workers.
