Abstract

This research aims to analyse the potential use of fingerprint biometrics in determining students' learning styles to maximise the effectiveness of the learning process in primary schools. Fingerprint biometrics is recognised as one of the technologies that can provide unique information about individual characteristics, including cognitive potential and learning styles. This research method was conducted by reviewing a number of relevant literature studies and using an experimental approach on students to determine the correlation between fingerprint patterns and their learning abilities. The results show that there is a correlation between certain types of fingerprint patterns and students' learning styles, which can then be used as a basis for designing more effective learning methods. Thus, the use of fingerprint biometrics offers an innovative approach in the field of education to tailor teaching methods to the individual needs of students

Abstract

Abstrak Kecenderungan berhutang menjadi permasalahan yang sangat tinggi di zaman sekarang, terlebih mudahnya teknologi untuk melakukan transaksi hingga melakukan pinjaman baik secara legal dan illegal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh langsung persepsi risiko, orientasi menabung, dan literasi keuangan terhadap kecenderungan berhuang, serta peran pengendalian diri memediasi literasi keuangan terhadap kecenderungan berhutang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 137 responden yang tinggal di Surabaya dan sekitarnya serta Jakarta dan sekitarnya.Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan software SMART-PLS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa persepsi risiko, literasi keuangan, dan pengendalian diri berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap kecenderungan berhutang, sedangkan orientasi menabung berpengaruh tidak secara signifikan. Selanjutnya, pengendalian diri secara signifikan memediasi literasi keuangan terhadap kecenderungan berhutang. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa seseorang perlu mengendalikan diri dalam berbelanja agar tidak terjebak dalam hutang yang berlebihan. Kata kunci : Kecenderungan Berhutang, Persepsi risiko, Orientasi menabung, Literasi Keuangan, Pengendalian diri

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetahui lebih mendalam tentang strategi pelatihan “SMA Double Track” untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan pada siswa yang berbasis SWOT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi (gabungan) yaitu observasi, interview dan penyebaran questioner dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT IFAS dan EFAS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perhitungan bobot dan rating setiap unsur matrik SWOT dapat diketahui bahwa posisi program pelatihan “SMA Double Track” berada pada kuadran I hal ini merupakan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan. Program “SMA Double Track” memiliki Koordinat Internal: Sumbu X = (skor kekuatan-skor kelemahan)/2 = (3.28 – 1.8) :2 = 0.74. Koordinat Eksternal Sumbu Y = (skor peluang – skor ancamam)/2 = (3.66 – 2.27):2 = 0.70. Jadi titik koordinatnya terletak pada (0,74:0,70) sehingga dengan kekuatan yang dimiliki dan dapat memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Strategi yang harus diterapkan dalam kondisi ini adalah mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif dimana strategi umum yang dapat dilakukan oleh sekolah SMA adalah menggunakan kekuatan dan peluang sekolah SMA untuk mengambil setiap keunggulan pada kesempatan yang ada.

Abstract

Rebo Wekasan is a tradition believed by the Indonesian people, especially the Madurese community, who believe that Allah sends calamities and diseases as many as 320,000 in a day. This study aims to discuss the origin of the Rebo Wekasan ritual tradition at Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Islamic Boarding School in Madura and the correlation of Quranic verses written in the Rebo Wekasan amulet with the history of Rebo Wekasan. This research used a qualitative method with a field approach located at Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Islamic Boarding School. The results show that this ritual originated with KH. Abdul Hamid bin Istbat, who performed the ritual, and then the students and the surrounding community followed his example until now. As for the correlation of Quranic verses with the history of Rebo Wekasan, the verses written in the amulet contain the meaning of salvation and a good reward for those who are patient in facing the given test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa pendidikan agama termasuk pendidikan yang harus mendapat perhatian lebih dari orang tua terhadap anak, karena pendidikan agama membangkitkan kekuatan yang bersifat naluri yang ada pada anak melalui bimbingan agama dan mengamalkan ajaran-ajaran agamanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi partisipasi orang tua dalam pendidikan agama islam di SMP Islam Manhalun Nasyiin Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mendeskripsikan fenomena dan literatur yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat ini peran serta masyarakat dalam pendidikan sudah dituangkan dalam berbagai kebijakan pemerintah, namun dalam implementasinya partisipasi orang tua dan masyarakat masih belum optimal. Pihak sekolah harus mengintegrasikan muatan kurikulum nilai dalam setiap pelajaran. Adanya kerjasama yang baik dengan orang tua dalam pendidikan yang sejalan di keluarga. Kesimpulan pengaruh kepedulian orang tua terhadap prestasi hasil belajar agama pada anak sangat besar pengaruhnya dimana dengan bimbingan dan motivasi yang diberikan orang tua, anak menjadi sangat semangat dan lebih aktif dalam belajar pendidikan agama sehingga nilai dan pemahaman yang diperoleh anak dalam belajar sangat memuaskan dan juga tingkah laku anak-anak dalam keluarga tentunya semakin membaik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the impact of the application of electronic performance and work skills on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research population consists of all civil servants in the DP3AKKB of Banten Province as many as 63 people using employee data in 2024. The sampling technique used is census sampling which involves collecting data from all relevant populations. Data was collected through a questionnaire followed by analysis using a quantitative method processed with SmartPLS software version 4. The results of the study show that performance electronics have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work skills have a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance, performance electronics have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work skills have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction is able to mediate electronic performance on performance employees, and job satisfaction are able to mediate work skills to employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of distance learning on character building and digital skills of students in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, with an emphasis on the challenges faced by students in developing these two aspects. The method used is literature review through analysis of articles relevant to distance learning. The results of the literature analysis show that although distance learning provides wider access to learning resources, there are still significant challenges in terms of students' social interaction and self-discipline that result in the development of their character and digital skills. The significance of these results lies in the importance of appropriate interventions to improve distance learning approaches so as to enhance students' digital character and skills that are indispensable in the competitive world of work. The broader implications of this study suggest that improving the quality of education through distance learning can support the development of qualified human resources to contribute to the advancement of education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how the application of STEAM-based learning can improve technology and innovation skills in primary school students. The issue raised is the need to understand the effectiveness of STEAM methods in improving students' ability to face modern technological challenges. The writing of this article uses a systematic review method based on several references in the form of books and scientific publication articles from various open source library sources. The results of this study show that students are not only better able to use technology, but also show improvements in creativity and critical thinking skills. These findings are of great significance as technology and innovation skills instilled at an early age become the foundation for the development of higher competencies at an advanced level which is crucial in the field of education. This study therefore provides important insights into the integration of STEAM learning in the primary education curriculum and its long-term implications for improving the quality of human capital.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the question of how the financial performance of Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital, Jambi Province, can be evaluated in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of budget management using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept. The research employs a descriptive qualitatitative approach with a case study method, in which the data analyzed consist of official hospital financial reports for 2023 and 2024 obtained through an online desk study. The analysis was carried out by calculating several financial ratios, including profit margin, current ratio, collection period, return on investment, debt to asset ratio, asset turnover, and cost recovery rate. The findings indicate that the hospital’s financial performance in 2024 experienced a significant decline compared to previous year. In addition, liquidity and solvency ratios showed a worsening trend, while the effectiveness of asset utilization also decreased. The study provides practical implications in the form of recommendations for revenue diversification, improving operational cost efficiency, and strengthening performance-based financial governance. Theoretically, the results enrich the body of knowledge regarding the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard in measuring the performance of regional public hospitals as public service agencies with BLUD status.

Abstract

This study investigates the internal and external determinants of profitability in Indonesian Rural Banks (BPR), with credit risk acting as a mediating variable. Internal factors include capital adequacy, bank size, operational efficiency, and credit distribution, while external factors comprise inflation and interest rates. The study utilizes a panel data regression method, covering 23 conventional BPRs operating in West and Central Kalimantan from 2019 to 2023. The findings reveal that capital adequacy negatively affects profitability, whereas operational efficiency and credit distribution exert positive influences. However, excessive credit expansion leads to rising non-performing loans (NPL), which subsequently diminish profitability. Interest rates and inflation have no significant impact. This research contributes to the literature by empirically confirming the mediating role of credit risk in rural bank performance and offers strategic insights for policymakers and rural bank managers to strengthen financial sustainability.
