Abstract

Indonesia faces serious challenges in terms of mental health, ranking fourth in mental health disorders and fifth in anxiety worldwide, according to the 2014 WHO report. This article highlights several factors that cause mental health disorders in teenagers in Indonesia.  Firstly, parenting styles play an important role, with democratic parenting that supports children's freedom, harsh authoritarian parenting, and permissive parenting that lacks care, all having different impacts on adolescent development.  Conflict and negative parenting styles are associated with an increased risk of depression.  Second, inadequate living environments, such as densely populated areas and damaged houses, can affect adolescents' mental health.  Third, socio-economic factors such as financial stability and demands for achievement also have a significant impact on the psychological well-being of adolescents.  This means that a deep understanding of these factors is very important in efforts to improve the mental health of teenagers in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mental health is a state of well-being in which a person is able to endure the rest of life, work well, and affect society. Mental health does not only mean the absence of mental disorders, but also includes a person's ability to manage their emotions, social and interpersonal relationships, and adapt to change. Conflict in the family can affect children's behavior and mental health, because the family is the closest place for a child. What children see and hear often runs in the family. Therefore, it is a good thing that family activities and the child's personality, behavior and health are influenced by what their parents see and hear. Mental disorders are still common in Indonesia, and it needs to be addressed more, because it is the young generation who will be the children and grandchildren of the country one day. If a teenager has a mental health problem and is left untreated, the child's mental health problem will persist and hinder their development. The purpose of this research is to find out the prevalence of mental health problems among teenagers today, the factors that affect them, and how the family can affect the mental health of teenagers in Indonesia. As you said, the role of the family in supporting children's mental health is very important, because parents are the main source of income for children. They can provide emotional support, create a safe environment, and help children develop problem-solving and social skills. By understanding the role of the family environment, we can better understand how to improve the mental health of the younger generation.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of bullying on individual mental health, especially in children and adolescents. A qualitative approach is used to understand the experiences and perceptions of bullying victims, as well as the psychological and social impacts they have. Through in-depth interviews with bullying victims, parents, teachers and school staff, as well as participatory observation in the school environment, data was collected and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Findings show that victims of bullying often experience depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and feelings of insecurity and protection in the school environment. This impact not only impacts the victim's mental health directly, but also impacts their overall quality of life. Therefore, effective preventive and intervention measures are needed to overcome the problem of bullying, including increasing awareness, creating a safe environment, and providing support for victims. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the impact of bullying on mental health, and strengthens the urgency to create environments that are free from bullying and support the psychological well-being of children and young people.

Abstract

Education to carry out guidance and counseling in schools is an element related to services in schools. The coordinator or implementer is the supervising teacher and the person who gives advice. Consultation is a method of support provided to parties consulted during meetings so that the consultation process has the ability to see and find problem points and solutions to problems. In the process of advising or supporting counselees, counselees systematically express their problems, have the ability to accept themselves according to their potential, and help solve problems with their potential. In implementing counseling guidance services, many students do not clearly understand the duties, functions and role of counseling guidance. Elements that are proven to be in accordance with existing practices in the field of guidance and counseling can be used as a forum for advising and motivating problems in order to find solutions that suit one's abilities. An interview or debrief is a tool for gathering information by revealing several problems and receiving a good response.Keywords: Problems, Implementation, Guidance and Counseling

Abstract

Stress that occurs iln students can be caused by varilous factors, one of whilch ils due to academilc demands. Educatilonal counselors as one of the agents of ilnternal change iln hilgher educatilon are expected to be able to overcome problems that often occur every day. thils year. Based on the Cogniltilve Behavilor Therapy (CBT) counselilng approach, academilc anxilety experilenced by students ils a cogniltilve dilstortilon caused by maladaptilve core belilefs. The assilstance process carriled out to change students' core belilefs to make them more adaptilve can be done wilth a more modern technilque, namely through musilc. Abstract

Abstrak  Penelitian ini  dilator belakangi dari fenommena lapangan yang ada di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi yang disebarkan kepada 42 siswa sebagai sampel, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat komunikasi interpersonal orang tua siswa, mengetahui tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa, mengetahui hubungan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepercayaan diri siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan uji persentase, uji normalitas, lineariitas dan korelasi. Adapun hasil penelitian uji korelasi komunikasi interpersonal (X) berada pada klasifikasi tingkat tinggi sebesar 78,5%. dan kepercayaan diri (Y) berada pada klasifikasi tingkat tinggi sebesar 70,1%. Hasil uji korelasi sebesar 0,517 yang mana hasil r hitung > 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima Ho ditolakKata Kunci: Komunikasi Interpersonal, Kepercayaan Diri.Abstrack This research is based on field phenomena at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City which was distributed to 42 students as a sample, which aims to determine the level of interpersonal communication between parents of students, determine the level of student self-confidence, and determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and student self-confidence. The research method uses percentage tests, normality tests, linearity and correlation. The research results of the interpersonal communication correlation test (X) are at a high level of classification at 78.5%. and self-confidence (Y) is at a high level classification of 70.1%. The correlation test result is 0.517, where the calculated r result is > 0.05, so Ha is accepted, Ho is rejected.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Self-Confidence.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji penggunaan instrumen RIASEC oleh guru BK dan hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan ketika melakukan analisis data peserta didik. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah RIASEC dapat digunakan oleh guru BK sebagai alat menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik dengan didasari pada tipologi Holland. Instrumen ini dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk menyusun program dan mengungkap kebutuhan peserta didik dengan tetap mempertimbangkan aspek kepribadian, keinginan, maupun data-data mendukung lain dari peserta didik. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan-pelatihan secara sistematis dalam mengoperasionalkan instrumen tersebut sehingga implementasi dapat dilakukan secara tepat dan terukur untuk kemaslahatan siswa. Abstract

Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan perilaku menunda dalam mengerjakan tugas akademik. Sedangkan hasil belajar merupakan kemampuan siswa setelah ia menerima pengalaman belajarnya. Prokrastinasi akademik ditunjukan dengan siswa yang sering telat mengumpulkan tugas, tugas yang tidak selesai dan banyak melakukan hal yang lebih menyenangkan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tingkat dan pengaruh prokrastinasi akademik terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 219 siswa. Sampel sebanyak 80 orang siswa yang diambil dengan teknik Random sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan expost facto. Instrumen atau alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket prokrastinasi akademik dan leger nilai hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII semester ganjil T.A 2022/2023. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat prokrastinasi akademik berada dikategori sedang (42,06%) dan hasil belajar berada di kategori sangat tinggi (90,12%). Sedangkan nilai determinasi berada pada kategori rendah tapi pasti (11,6%). Kata kunci: prokrastinasi akademik, hasil belajar, siswa SMP

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan perkembangan teknologi terkadang di salah gunakan oleh kalangan remaja. Biasanya dampak kondisi kesehatan yang kecanduan game online adalah penurunan konsentrasi belajar, mengganggu fungsi daya ingat, dan sebagainya. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif metode expost facto. Populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi yang bermain game online jumlah 261 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling jumlah sampel 76 siswa, kriteria bermain game online 3 jam perhari atau lebih, bermain game mobile legends. Teknik pengumpulan data menyebar angket. Teknik analisis data uji presentase, uji normalitas data, uji linearitas, uji analisis regresi sederhana, bantuan program SPSS V.2.6. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kecanduan game online presentasenya 60,7 %, tingkat konsentrasi belajar presentasenya 64,9 %. Hasil uji analisis regresi sederhana diketahui pengaruh negatif artinya variabel X -0,853 meningkat maka variabel Y 108,421 mengalami penurunan pada ukuran tertentu. Koefisien determinasi kecanduan game online dan konsentrasi belajar 0,959. Maka penelitian menunjukkan 95,9% terdapat pengaruh negatif antara variabel kecanduan game online dan konsentrasi belajar. Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pelaksanaan konseling mahasiswa. Urgensi penelitian ini muncul dari kebutuhan untuk memperkuat kompetensi praktis mahasiswa di bidang konseling, yang krusial untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Tujuan utama adalah untuk menentukan apakah PjBL dapat memperbaiki keterampilan mahasiswa dalam kursus layanan konseling di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen pre-test dan post-test tanpa kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan, dengan nilai pretest 72,16 meningkat menjadi 95,89 pada posttest. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi bahwa PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pelaksanaan konseling mahasiswa, menjadikannya pendekatan yang berharga dalam pendidikan konseling.
