Abstract

Cedera olahraga merupakan salah satu hambatan yang sering dihadapi atlet pada saat kompetisi maupun dalam tahap persiapan. Rendahnya pemahaman pelatih tentang penanganan pertama cedera olahraga. Sehingga dibutuhkan edukasi pada pelatih tentang pemahaman cedera olahraga dan penanganan pertama cedera olahraga. Edukasi dilakukan pada pelatih Kuningan berjumlah 15 orang. Edukasi dilakukan dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan penanganan pertama cedera olahraga. Hasil edukasi menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan pelatih tentang cedera olahraga dan penanganan pertama cedera olahraga 40% termasuk kategori tinggi, 40% termasuk kategori sedang, dan 20% termasuk kategori rendah. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa edukasi pada pelatih yang dilakukan dengan pelatihan penanganan pertama cedera olahraga efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan praktik pelatih dalam penanganan pertama cedera olahraga.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to introduce and deepen STKIP Melawi students' understanding of the game of tennis starting from equipment and other supporting equipment, playing techniques and game rules. This PkM is carried out on the basis of achievements for playing tonnis in Melawi Regency and there are very few seeds in the sport of playing tonnis because there are many obstacles in the formation of tennis players due to the lack of socialization and introduction to the community about tonnis. The benefit of this service is that STKIP Melawi students have a new reference for teaching small ball games in learning, besides that tennis can also be used in the educational curriculum at school.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of the Student Centered Learning approach in improving students' English learning outcomes. The research method used is a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 20 class II mattayom students at Eakkapapsasanawich Islamic School Krabi Thailand. The research was conducted for one month by applying the Student Centered Learning approach in English language learning. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest with written tests. The result show that implementing the student center learning approach is more effective in improving learning outcomes in learning English integers for class II Mattayom students compared to applying conventional learning. Based on the results of the t test analysis using the pretest and posttest data normality test and the results are known that pretest 0.19 > 0.05 and posttest 0.200 > 0.05 can be accepted and normally distributed, which means there are differences in the positive influence and effectiveness of implementing the student center learning approach applied in the experimental class.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model on English learning outcomes for Class IV Ban Khlongrua School Krabi, Southern Thailand. This type of research is pre-experimental research in the form of one group pretest posttest, namely an experiment. The experimental research unit was fourth grade students at Ban Khlongrua School Krabi, Southern Thailand. The results of descriptive statistical analysis of English learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning Model show better results than before using the Problem Based Learning Model. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula show that the calculated t value obtained is 2.79 with a frequency of dk = 10-1 = 9. At the 5% significance level, the t table value = 0.45. So, ct-ount > ttable or 2.79 > 0.45. This proves that the application of the Problem Based Learning model in English learning has an influence so that it can be said to be more effective than before the use of the Problem Based Learning Learning Model.

Abstract

Edukasi karakter kebangsaan merupakan bagian penting sebagai upaya dalam menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap negaranya. Melalui kegiatan memperingati hari pahlawan yang dipadukan dengan berbagai kegiatan perlombaan dengan tema pahlawan terhadap siswa di Sanggar Bimbingan Pantai Dalam pada tanggal 10 November ini dilaksanakan guna membentuk karakter kebangsaan pada generasi muda terutama pada siswa di Sanggar Bimbingan Pantai Dalam. Hari pahlawan merupakan hari yang setiap tahunnya diperingati oleh bangsa Indonesia sebagai tanda untuk memperingati serta menghormati jasa para pahlawan. Dalam memperingati hari pahlawan yang dilakukan di Sanggar Bimbingan Pantai Dalam ini dilakukan dengan memadukan berbagai kegiatan perlombaan, seperti lomba mewarnai gambar pahlawan dan lomba membaca puisi dengan tema pahlawan. Tujuan dari lomba ini yaitu untuk menambah pengetahuan serta menumbuhkan rasa cinta siswa terhadap bangsa indonesia. Metode dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini melalui tiga tahap yaitu, Sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. metode ini menempatkan mitra sebagai sasaran utama pada setiap tahapan persiapan serta pelaksanaan program pengabdian. Pengabdian ini lebih menekankan pada penanaman serta pemahaman mengenai karakter kebangsaan. Penanaman dan pemahaman mengenai karakter kebangsaan pada siswa di Sanggar Bimbingan Pantai Dalam ini menekankan pada pengenalan sejarah para pahlawan serta kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang biasa dilakukan untuk memperingati jasa para pahlawan di Indonesia seperti memperingati hari pahlawan. Edukasi karakter kebangsaan ini cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kebangsaan siswa, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kebangsaan siswa setelah diberikannya edukasi. Dengan melalui berbagai kegiatan serta perlombaan yang telah dilaksanakan diharapakan dapat menumbuhkan karakter kebangsaan serta menambah wawasan pengetahuan kebangsaan pada siswa di Sanggar Bimbingan Pantai Dalam Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Abstract

This research is based on the condition of football players in Indonesia who still have minimal attitude in terms of respect. Players often act unsportsmanlike, such as trying to injure opponents, not shaking hands after committing a violation, and protesting excessively to the referee.  This study aims to develop a soccer training model based on character education in order to improve life skills.  The pretest results of the life skills of SSB Putra Karamat students using the character education development model seen based on the aspects of emotional skills, problem solving and decision making, leadership, and respect showed a significant difference with the pretest results of the life skills of SSB Tesa students. Likewise, the posttest results of the life skills of SSB Putra Karamat students differed from SSB Tesa students in measuring the same aspects during the pretest, where the life skills of SSB Putra Karamat students looked better. The implementation of character education (tolerance, discipline, responsibility, and respect) in the soccer training program has a positive impact on the life skills of players. Players can better control their emotions during the match, players can solve problems and make the right decisions, have a leadership spirit, and have a respectful attitude towards other players, referees, officials, and everyone involved in the soccer game. The impact of implementing the character education model in football games provides new innovations to the development of sports education science. Football players need to be equipped with good characters, not only having good basic techniques, prime physical condition, and good playing tactics.

Abstract

The kangkang jump is one of the basic movements in artistic gymnastics, which is the primary focus of this research. Observations conducted at school revealed that the material related to the kangkang jump was not delivered effectively by the teacher due to inadequate facilities required for the learning process. As a result, students exhibited poor kangkang jumping skills, stiff movements, and a lack of confidence due to fear of failure. This study aims to improve students' kangkang jumping skills through a game-based approach. The research employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population included all 140 students in grade V at SDN 2 Ciherang, Kadugede District, for the 2023/2024 academic year, with a research sample of 23 students selected through purposive random sampling. The instrument used was a kangkang jump skill assessment test. Data analysis was conducted using a normality test, which indicated that the pretest data (sig = 0.305) and posttest data (sig = 0.27) were normally distributed. A homogeneity test was conducted with sig = 0.451, and a paired sample t-test hypothesis test showed significant results with sig = 0.00. The results of the study demonstrated that the application of a game-based approach in learning significantly improved students' kangkang jumping skills. Future research on learning the kangkang jump can be conducted by integrating technology as an innovation of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan passing dalam permainan bola voli pada siswa, yang disebabkan oleh pemahaman yang kurang tentang teknik passing dan kurang optimalnya pelatihan yang diberikan oleh guru. Guru cenderung memberikan contoh secara menyeluruh tanpa fokus pada pembelajaran yang terstruktur, sehingga keakuratan passing menjadi kurang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan passing bawah dalam permainan bola voli melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain pra-tes dan pasca-tes pada satu kelompok. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas VIII B, yang diambil secara acak dari populasi 102 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Selajambe, Kabupaten Kuningan, menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Tes kemampuan passing bola voli digunakan sebagai alat pengukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan passing siswa. Pemecahan masalah dalam proses pembelajaran membantu siswa menetapkan target yang lebih spesifik, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan ketepatan dan keefektifan dalam melakukan passing. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi sebagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran bola voli untuk lebih meningkatkan keterampilan siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of TRX training and RC training on the ability of the crescent kick. This study is an experimental method. The subjects of this study were 16 athletes. The results of the t-test study on TRX training obtained a t count of 13,332 and a t table of 4,785 with a sig value of 0.000. The results of the t-test study on RC training obtained a t count of 5,495 and a t table of 4,785 with a sig value of 0.001. So there is a significant increase in the speed of the crescent kick. The magnitude of the increase in TRX and RC training, which can be seen in the t count value (TRX) 13,332 t count (RC) 5,495 is greater than the t table 4,024 (TRX 13,332 4,024) (RC 5,495 4024) with a significant value of TRX = 0.000, RC = 0.001 is smaller than 0.05 (sig 0.05) And the results of the effectiveness using a comparison of means on TRX and RC training. The mean test results on the TRX training mean test = 24.63, and on the RC training mean test = 20.75. The results of the comparison test mean TRX and RC training (24.63 20.75) and the results of the Xander Resistance Training exercise are more significant because the results of the mean test are greater than the Reserve Crossover (Zigzag Run) exercise.Keywords: Xander Resistance Training Exercise and Reserve Crossover Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektivitas antara latihan TRX dan latihan RC terhadap kemampuan tendangan sabit. Penelitian ini merupakan metode eksperimen. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 16 atlet. Hasil penelitian uji-t pada latihan TRX diperoleh t hitung 13.332 dan t tabel sebesar 4.785 dengan nilai sig 0,000. Dan hasil penelitian uji-t pada latihan RC diperoleh t hitung 5.495 dan t tabel 4.785 dengan nilai sig 0,001. Sehingga terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kecepatan tendangan sabit. Besarnya peningkatan dari latihan TRX dan RC, yang mana dapat dilihat pada nilai t hitung (TRX) 13.332 t hitung (RC) 5.495 lebih besar dari pada t tabel 4.024 (TRX 13.332 4.024) (RC 5.495 4024) dengan nilai signifikan TRX= 0,000, RC= 0,001 lebih kecil daripada 0,05 (sig0,05) Dan hasil efektivitas menggunakan perbandingkan mean pada latihan TRX dan RC. Abstract

In every sporting event there is always an event identity that is able to represent the image of the region and country in its implementation. The purpose of this study is to explore the case study of PON XXI 2024 within the framework of achievement development. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Participants in the study consisted of elite athletes (PON Program), coaches, officials, and sports policy academics with a total of 12 participants. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, document studies. Data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction analysis, data presentation, drawing conclusions assisted by the Nvivo application. The results of this study, the integration of DBON strategies starting from talent identification, athlete career advancement, and multi-level competition opportunities. In the context of DBON development, the role of the central government, regions, and KONI cannot be ignored. The unity of stakeholders functions as the main manager who coordinates and integrates all aspects of DBON, both at the central and regional levels
