Abstract

Abstract Joint property disputes in Indonesian society can be said to have never subsided and even tend to increase as the divorce rate continues to increase, the purpose of this research is to find out the pattern and form of settlement of joint property disputes. The development of the dynamics of law in Indonesia has experienced significant developments. This study discusses three things: the pattern of dispute resolution, the factors that lead to disputes, in the settlement of joint property disputes in Indonesia. This research is an analytical descriptive research which includes data collection methods, data compilation, and final data analysis. The findings of the study show that first, the meaning and limits of joint property as stated in Law no. 1 of 1974 and in the KHI can no longer be criminalized in the case of joint property itself. Settlement of joint property disputes in Indonesia through two settlement channels. Second, Law No. 1 of 1974 in principle has provided preventive measures so that there is no mixing of joint assets with innate assets. Third, the settlement of joint property disputes in Indonesia through two settlement channels, the first through litigation and the second through non-litigation. Fourth, the settlement of joint property disputes carried out in two ways, litigation and non-litigation, provides different dispute resolution models and different finding.

Abstract

Early marriage is a common problem in low- and middle-income developing countries, bringing health, emotional, sexual, and social consequences. These challenges vary by country. This study aims to explore the challenges of early marriage, including its drivers and strategies for addressing them. This study employed a systematic literature review using the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, as they offer broad and credible academic coverage. Of the 151 articles identified, only 10 met the inclusion criteria, which included topic relevance, language, full-text accessibility, and a clear methodology. The results showed that couples who marry early are generally not physically and psychologically ready to assume the roles of husband and wife. Factors driving early marriage include residence, religion, limited access to education, poverty, family cultural structure, and low individual autonomy. One strategy for addressing this is through marriage counseling, which helps women plan pregnancies and prevent the negative impacts of early pregnancy. Keywords: early marriage, family, marriage counseling

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's artistic abilities through the use of the Beautiful Bottle learning media in group B Makkah children at RA Al Hidayah GUPPI I Bedali. The background of the study began with the low interest of children in participating in artistic activities, especially singing and learning about music. This condition encouraged the researcher to use the Beautiful Bottle media as an educational prop made from eight used glass beverage bottles that were attractively decorated and filled with water at different heights to produce a variety of tones. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in four cycles, with 20 children as research subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in children's artistic abilities, both in terms of recognizing the sound of notes, following the rhythm, and enthusiasm in learning activities. In addition to the artistic aspect, the Beautiful Bottle media also contributed to developing children's cognitive, social, motor, and language aspects. Children appeared more active, creative, and able to collaborate in simple musical activities. Thus, the use of the Beautiful Bottle media has proven effective as an innovation in art learning for early childhood, and can be used as an alternative for teachers in creating a fun and meaningful learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Introduction: In endemic nations like Indonesia, dengue fever remains a serious public health concern. The majority of predictive models ignore modifiable risk factors at the home level in favor of macroenvironmental variables (rainfall and climate). The study aimed to develop a logistic regression model to forecast the presence of Aedes aegypti larvae based on water quality metrics and the household water containers characteristics. Methods: In Banjar Regency, Indonesia, 400 randomly chosen households participated in a cross-sectional survey. Water parameters (pH, temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen) and container attributes (color, cover availability, and type of water source) were evaluated. Significant predictors were identified using stepwise logistic regression. Model performance was assessed using the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve and the Hosmer–Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test. Results and Discussion: The final model identified three significant predictors: container color (OR=14.45; 95% CI:2.93–71.16; p=0.001), cover availability (OR=8.02; 95% CI:1.53–42.01; p=0.014), and water source type (OR=16.78; 95% CI:3.18–88.44; p=0.001). The model equation was: logit(p)=-4.676+2.820(water source)+2.671(colour) +2.082(cover availability). The model exhibited outstanding discrimination (AUC=0.945; 95% CI:0.899–0.992) and good calibration (Hosmer-Lemeshow p=0.649). Conclusion: This household-based logistic model effectively identifies high-risk larval habitats using simple, context-specific indicators. Container color, cover availability, and water source type were key predictors of Aedes aegypti larvae presence, offering practical value for community vector control and early warning systems in resource-limited settings.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is the cause of child death in Africa. More than one-third (37%) of children aged 6-59 months in Zimbabwe are anemic. Anemia is caused by two factors, namely proximal factor (attached to the individual) and distal factor (not attached to the individual). Objectives: This study aims to determine the distal risk factors associated with anemia in children aged 6-59 months in Zimbabwe. Methods: A cross-sectional study design by analyzing Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) data for Zimbabwe in 2015. The total sample was 4303 households with children aged 6-59 months and fulfilled all the study variables. That became independent variables in this study were land ownership, types of livestock, and two factors from the results of the Principal Component Analysis test, water and toilet sanitation and building sanitation. Univariate analysis was performed to see the frequency distribution of each variable, then bivariate analysis with chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests to determine factors that were significantly related to the incidence of anemia and further tested with logistic regression. Results: Based on the results of this study, it was found that variables that were significantly related to the incidence of anemia were age, agricultural land ownership, types of livestock, water and toilet sanitation, and building sanitation. From several variables that became distal risk factors, it was found that variables that increased the risk factors for anemia in children aged 6-59 months, namely not having agricultural land (OR=2.84; 95% CI=2.38-3.4; p<0, 05), do not own livestock (OR=1.72; 95%CI=1.48-2; p<0.05) own poultry (OR=1.45; 95%CI=1.2-1.74) ; p<0.05) and building sanitation (OR=1.07; 95% CI=1-1.14; p<0.05). In addition, this study found a protective factor against the incidence of anemia in children aged 6-59 months in Zimbabwe, namely water and toilet sanitation (OR=0.85; 95% CI=0.8-0.91; p<0.05). Conclusions: The causes of anemia in children aged 6-59 months are multifactorial. We suggest that policymakers plan an integrated program specifically in agriculture and animal husbandry so that every household has agricultural land and livestock to reduce the incidence of anemia in children aged 6-59 months in Zimbabwe.
