Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is first, what are the factors that cause difficultiesin learning mathematics in the material of distance, time and speed in fifth grade students ofSDN 24 Banyuasin I, second, how to overcome difficulties in learning mathematics on distance, time and speed materials in fifth grade students of SDN 24 Banyuasin I. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes and ways of overcoming the difficulties of learning mathematics on the subject of distance, time and speed in fifth grade students of SDN 24 Banyuasin I. This research method is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are (1) There are three difficulties experienced by students when learning mathematics on the subject of distance, time and speed, namely difficulty understanding concepts, difficulties in counting and difficulties in language and writing. (2) The factors that cause learning difficulties in the material of distance, time and speed of classV students at SDN 24 Banyuasin I are internal and external factors. Internal factors such as interests, attitudes, motivation, intelligence and health disorders, while external factors such as family factors. (3) The way to overcome the difficulties of learning mathematics in the matter of distance, time and speed is that the teacher approaches students, providing remedial for students who get scores below the KKM.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research with experimental research methods. This study is focused on knowing the effectiveness of the use of the Role Playing learning method in increasing the confidence of class VI students in social studies learning. The problem behind this research is that in the implementation of learning the teacher still uses conventional learning methods and not only that, actually the teacher has also used various learning models such as discussion models. However, in practice, the teacher does not follow the procedure which makes it look like a normaldiscussion. Thus, the lack of interaction between teachers and students results in students becoming bored and not understanding the material being taught. The subjects in this study were class VI A and VI B. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed during the posttest and pretest, which consisted of 20 statements. If seen from the results of the t-test calculation with asignificant value is 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference between the experimental pretest and posttest experimental learning outcomes, the researcher concludes that the role-playing learning method is effective in increasing students' self-confidence in social studies learning.

Abstract

Background. The development of information technology encourages university libraries to apply it in library activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze how physical and digital content is preserved in university libraries.Methodology. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques are carried out by literature review / literature study related to the preservation of physical and digital content in college libraries. Data analysis was performed by criticizing, comparing, summarizing, and gathering (synthesizing) some literatures. Thus, the method used in this paper is literature study with an emphasis on peeling, summarizing and collecting literature, then analyzing the data that has been collected.Results and discussion. In university libraries, efforts to preserve the value of information so that information can be used for a relatively longer period of time and avoid damage to digital or electronic collections requires strategies to be carried out in carrying out physical and digital content preservation activities. Strategies that can be carried out by higher education libraries in preserving physical and digital content are 1) Technology Preservation; 2) Refreshing or Updating (Refreshing); 3) Migration and Reformating (Migration and Reformating); 4) Emulation (Emulation); 5) Digital Archeology; and 6) Digital to analogConclusions. College libraries have carried out physical and digital content preservation activities in the current era. Although there are still some things that need to be improved and improved in the future.

Abstract

Social skills play a central role in shaping individuals who are able to adapt and contribute to society. This article analyzes the comparative social studies curriculum in Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Norway and Sweden), focusing on how students’ social skills are developed through their approach to learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with an emphasis on document analysis and uses a horizontal descriptive approach in the context of comparative education. The results of the comparison found that Denmark emphasizes the integration of social skills in practical learning and research projects, Norway through an integrated approach with its contemporary issues while Sweden applies innovation through technology and community involvement. The comparison between the three countries revealed similarities, differences, as well as challenges and successes in the development of students’ social skills. The conclusions of this analysis provide a foundation for recommending best practices and improvements in social studies curriculum, which can be applied globally to enhance students’ social skills development in this modern era.

Abstract

Many influences as it happens, including lack of interest or lack of pleasure students in learning mathematics, students are less active in the learning process takes place sometimesteachers just explain the material is not interesting and just monotonous. This bias is because at the time of learning the material given is only monotonous should be by using or utilizingexisting media so that students are less active in learning, lack of teachers in mastery of thematerial so that the learning process is less interesting and this becomes one of the mainproblems that cause a lack of interest in students in the learning process Mathematics lastsand causes low and causes students to have difficulty in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Leadership is the process by which a leader guides and motivates members to achieve organizational goals, including in the context of women's leadership, which is gaining increasing attention. In predominantly male-led organizations, leadership is often associated with the dominance of power. However, women also have equal potential with men in terms of leadership, and many of them have occupied strategic positions. This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of women's leadership style on employee work motivation at the Office of the Industry Service of South Sumatra Province. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data analysis using simple linear regression. Before regression analysis is performed, the data is tested using the classical assumption test and reliability test to ensure its validity. Data processing was carried out with the help of SPSS 26.0 software. The results showed that the hypothesis (H1) was accepted, which means that women's leadership style has a significant influence on increasing employee work motivation.  This is evidenced by the partial hypothesis test (t test), where the female leadership style has a significance value of 0.000 (smaller than 0.05) and a t_count value of 4.442 (greater than the t_table of 0.308). Thus, it can be concluded that women's leadership style plays an important role in increasing employee work motivation at the Industry Office of South Sumatra Province. Kepemimpinan merupakan proses di mana seorang pemimpin membimbing dan memotivasi anggotanya untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi, termasuk dalam konteks kepemimpinan perempuan yang semakin mendapat perhatian. Dalam organisasi yang mayoritas dipimpin oleh laki-laki, kepemimpinan sering dikaitkan dengan dominasi kekuatan. Namun, perempuan juga memiliki potensi yang setara dengan laki-laki dalam hal kepemimpinan, dan banyak di antaranya telah menduduki posisi strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan perempuan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Kantor Dinas Perindustrian Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Sebelum analisis regresi dilakukan, data diuji menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan uji reliabilitas untuk memastikan validitasnya. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis (H1) diterima, yang berarti gaya kepemimpinan perempuan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi kerja pegawai. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji hipotesis parsial (uji t), di mana gaya kepemimpinan perempuan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (lebih kecil dari 0,05) dan nilai t_hitung sebesar 4,442 (lebih besar dari t_tabel sebesar 0,308). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan perempuan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja pegawai di Dinas Perindustrian Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate women's protection institutions in terms of empowerment, so that services and innovations for resolving issues are in line with the ongoing situation. The focus of the research is the evaluation of the institution. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations and documentation in the field. The theory used in this study is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model by Stufflebeam. The results of the study show that there are indicators in the independent women's protection institution that are not optimal, so there is a need for additional resources. Context evaluation revealed that there are limitations in terms of needs and the scope of the area, which must be expanded as soon as possible. Input evaluation revealed a shortage of human resources, funding and supporting facilities, which need to be increased for optimal performance. Process evaluation found that the programme was already being implemented well, in line with the previously set objectives, but adjustments were needed in light of the ongoing development of science and technology. In the product evaluation, the implementation of existing programmes and the addition of new programmes in line with the evolving issues facing women must be carried out on a continuous basis. There is a need for programmes and activities to be publicised so that the community is willing to open up and report any problems they experience. Empowering institutions like this can serve as examples or pioneers for other regions, with the aim of achieving independence, welfare and solving women's issues.

Abstract

Background:: Breast cancer is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in women. A protective factor against breast cancer is adequate breastfeeding. However, many women who have breastfed for less than two years still do not understand the potential health risks. Purpose: To increase women's awareness and knowledge of the breast cancer risks associated with breastfeeding for less than two years. Method: This community service activity was carried out on Saturday, December 10, 2025, at 09.00–11.30 WIB at the Melati Integrated Health Post, Air Kepala Tujuh Village, Gerunggang District, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands. The target group of this activity was a group of mothers who were breastfeeding or who had a history of breastfeeding for less than two years. Using a purposive sampling technique based on suitability criteria, 30 respondents were obtained, consisting of breastfeeding mothers and mothers with a history of breastfeeding for less than two years. The implementation of health education was carried out through direct, communicative and interactive counseling with powerpoint presentation media. The material included the definition of breast cancer, risk factors, duration of breastfeeding related to risks, benefits of long-term breastfeeding, and early detection efforts, especially breast self-examination. The instrument to measure the level of knowledge and understanding of respondents used a questionnaire and the evaluation of the activity was carried out descriptively by comparing the assessment of knowledge and awareness of respondents before the educational activity (pre-test) and after the educational activity (post-test). Results: The average age of respondents was 29.14 years with a standard deviation of ±2.64 years. The majority of respondents (19 respondents) were between the ages of 26 and 29. 46.7% were housewives, the majority (60.0%) were elementary school graduates, and most (21 respondents) had one child. There was an increase in the average knowledge score of respondents from 56 points before the educational activity (pre-test) to 82 points after the educational activity (post-test). Conclusion: Direct, communicative, and interactive health education regarding breast cancer, risk factors, and breastfeeding duration has proven effective in increasing awareness and understanding of the importance of early detection and preventive behaviors as an effort to prevent breast cancer. Mothers' behavior of breastfeeding their babies for a longer period has a protective effect against breast cancer risk. Suggestion: Continuous strengthening of community-based health education is needed to ensure wider dissemination of information about the long-term benefits of breastfeeding and the importance of early breast cancer detection and foster sustainable health behaviors. Educational materials on the importance of early breast cancer risk detection are also recommended for integration into health worker programs for premarital adolescents, maternal and child health, and the broader community. Keywords: Breast cancer; Breastfeeding; Early detection; Health education; Prevention Pendahuluan: Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas pada perempuan. Salah satu faktor protektif terhadap kanker payudara adalah pemberian ASI dalam jangka waktu yang cukup. Namun, masih banyak perempuan yang memiliki riwayat menyusui kurang dari dua tahun dan belum memahami risiko kesehatan yang dapat ditimbulkan. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan perempuan mengenai risiko kanker payudara yang berkaitan dengan riwayat menyusui kurang dari dua tahun. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 10 Desember 2025, pukul 09.00–11.30 WIB di Posyandu Melati, Kelurahan Air Kepala Tujuh, Kecamatan Gerunggang, Pangkalpinang, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah kelompok ibu yang sedang menyusui maupun yang memiliki riwayat menyusui kurang dari dua tahun. Dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kesesuaian kriteria mendapatkan 30 orang responden yang terdiri dari ibu menyusui dan ibu dengan riwayat menyusui kurang dari dua tahun. Pelaksanaan edukasi kesehatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan langsung, komunikatif dan interaktif dengan media presentasi powerpoint. Materi mencakup pengertian kanker payudara, faktor risiko, durasi menyusui terkait risiko, manfaat menyusui jangka panjang, serta upaya deteksi dini, khususnya pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI). Instrumen untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman responden menggunakan kuesioner dan evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan penilaian pengetahuan dan kesadaran responden sebelum kegiatan edukasi (pre-test) dan sesudah kegiatan edukasi (post-test). Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata usia responden berada di usia 29.14 tahun dengan standar deviasi ±2.64 tahun dan sebagian besar responden berada di rentang usia 26-29 tahun yaitu sebanyak 19 orang (63.3%). Sebesar 46.7% responden adalah sebagai IRT, mayoritas tingkat pendidikan responden adalah lulusan SD-SMP yaitu sebesar 60.0% dan sebagian besar responden memiliki 1 anak yaitu sebanyak 21 orang (70.0%). Terdapat peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan responden dari sebelum kegiatan edukasi (pre-test) adalah 56 poin dan menjadi 82 poin sesudah kegiatan edukasi (post-test).  Simpulan: Penyuluhan kesehatan secara langsung, komunikatif dan interaktif mengenai pengertian kanker payudara, faktor risiko, dan durasi menyusui terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman terhadap pentingnya deteksi dini dan perilaku preventif sebagai upaya pencegahan kanker payudara. Perilaku ibu dengan menyusui bayinya dalam jangka waktu lebih lama memberikan efek protektif terhadap risiko kanker payudara. Saran: Diperlukan penguatan edukasi kesehatan berbasis komunitas secara berkesinambungan agar informasi mengenai manfaat menyusui jangka panjang dan pentingnya deteksi dini kanker payudara lebih luas tersosialisasi serta membentuk perilaku kesehatan yang berkelanjutan. Diharapkan juga untuk mengintegrasikan materi edukasi tentang pentingnya deteksi dini risiko kanker payudara ke dalam program kegiatan tenaga kesehatan pada remaja pranikah, kesehatan ibu dan anak, dan komunitas yang lebih luas.
