Abstract

Song lyrics have various meanings, one of which is the outpouring of a lyricist which is expressed in written words and can influence the emotions and feelings of song listeners. This study aims to describe the grammatical and lexical aspects of the lyrics of the song Membasuh by Hindia using semantic studies. The research method applied in this study is a qualitative descriptive method that produces descriptive data in the form of words. The data obtained came from the lyrics of the song entitled Membasuh by Hindia. This study focused on the grammatical and lexical aspects of the lyrics of the song Membasuh by Hindia. The data collection method in this study was carried out using the documentation and note-taking method. This study found that in the lyrics of the song Membasuh by Hindia there are grammatical aspects consisting of reference, ellipsis, and conjunction. While the lexical aspects found consist of repetition, synonyms, and antonyms.

Abstract

The aim of the research carried out was to analyze the grammatical and lexical structure used in the lyrics of the song "Gala Bunga Matahari" by Sal Priadi. This analysis focuses on identifying sentence patterns, verb use, and other linguistic elements that shape the message and aesthetics of the song's lyrics. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where song lyrics are analyzed based on grammatical and linguistic theories. The research results show that the song "Gala Bunga Matahari" uses a variety of complex sentence structures, emotional word choices, and deep language style to convey themes of sadness and longing. It is hoped that this analysis can provide a role in in-depth understanding of how grammatical structure can influence the interpretation and appreciation of a song.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enable teachers to understand and have the skills to write scientific papers. Based on the results of observations and interviews at MTs N 3 Magelang, teachers had difficulty writing proposals and reporting on classroom action research, from determining titles, problems, learning methods, research methods, and writing reports. The results of the workshop on writing classroom action research reports and scientific papers are that participants (teachers) have gained a better understanding of the material contained in classroom action research proposals (PTK). Second, participants have gained an understanding of how to prepare a PTK proposal and publish it in a service journal

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning independence on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Batu Sopang District and to analyze the effect of parental attention on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Batu Sopang District. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data collection uses a questionnaire for the variables of learning independence and parental attention, while science learning outcomes use student learning outcome scores. The sample used in this study was 212 fourth-grade students. The validity test of the instrument used person's product moment correlation, while the reliability test used Alpha Cronbach. The data obtained were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression techniques, as well as one-way ANOVA. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant positive effect between the learning independence variable on science learning outcomes of 0.182 with a t count of 2.667 and a significance value of 0.008 <0.05. There is a significant positive influence between the variable of parental attention on science learning outcomes of 0.191 with a t count of 2.809 and a significance value of 0.005 <0.05.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the improvement in students’ verbal intelligence resulting from improved the quantity and quality of vocabulary. The study undertook correlation analysis to identify the relationships between research variables, i.e., vocabulary bank and quantity of vocabulary items; the quantity of vocabulary items and quality of vocabulary understanding; quality of vocabulary understanding, and verbal intelligence. The research was undertaken in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al-Islam Balesari, located in Balesari Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The research sample comprised 50% of all students in the fourth grade and included 9 out of 37 students. The data collection technique in this study was the observation of the correlation between teachers and fourth-grade students at MI Al-Islam Balesari. The data analysis technique used was the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the vocabulary bank strategy improved students' verbal intelligence. This impacts increased interest and motivation among the students concerning, students' speed in understanding the matters learned, the quality of the reconstruction of aspects studied to be reiterated both written and oral, and improved quantity and quality of students' vocabulary comprehension. Students find it easy to understand the lesson because the information conveyed uses language media that they can understand.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of family financial education and social media on educational investment decisions, with financial literacy and internal locus of control as mediators. The research follows an explanatory design using a survey method. The population consists of 15,530 individuals enrolled in Pamulang University's employee class program. A sample of 375 respondents was selected through proportionate random sampling. Data was collected via an online survey using Google Forms. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), analyzed with SmartPLS version 3.0, was employed to estimate the data. The results indicate that social media and family financial socialization both directly and indirectly influence educational investment decisions. However, family financial socialization did not significantly affect financial literacy, and thus could not mediate educational investment decisions. Internal locus of control emerged as the most significant predictor and mediator, suggesting that psychological factors have a stronger influence than financial knowledge. Furthermore, social media was found to play a key role in enhancing students' financial literacy and internal locus of control. Based on these findings, it is recommended that universities implement financial literacy programs for parents to support family financial education, as well as leverage social media to enhance students' locus of control and financial literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the grammatical and lexical meaning of the lyrics of the song "Damn" by Andrian Khalif. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis with a semantic approach. The research results show that the lexical meaning in the song lyrics contains elements such as repetition, collocation, hyponymy, synonymy and antonymy. In addition, grammatical meaning includes affixation, reduplication and composition processes that enrich the language structure in song lyrics. The use of grammatical meaning also includes personal references and puns that add depth to the meaning of the lyrics. Meaning itself includes various aspect, namely, words, phrases, sentences, and text. This research provides an important contribution in understanding the complexity of language meaning in song lyrics as a form of artistic expression.

Abstract

Tujuan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam pembelajaran Project Citizen dan penggunaan media kartu tanya jawab untuk meningkatkan literasi kritis dan literasi digital siswa. Metode program pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan pelatihan dan workshop pembelajaran Project Citizen dengan media kartu tanya jawab. Mitra pengabdian adalah MGMP guru Pendidikan Pancasila tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Magelang. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan 5 tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, workshop atau pendampingan penyusunan rencana pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya Peningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kemudian evaluasi pelaksanaan program kegiatan pengabdian termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

tujuan program pengabdian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru MGMP mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, Bahasa Indonesia, dan Matematika terkait pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning dan pembelajaran kolaboratif. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah guru MGMP mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, Bahasa Indonesia, dan Matematika tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Magelang.  Metode program pengabdian ini ialah pelatihan dan workshop. Tahapan pengabdian adalah persiapan, pelatihan, workhsop, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam konsep pembelajaran deep learning dan pembelajaran kolaboratif
