Abstract

Tujuan dari diadakan pelatihan dasar statistika menggunakan Software SPSS oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Malang adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dasar statistika pada guru MGMP Ekonomi di Kabupaten Lamongan guna untuk mendapatkan output berupa karya ilmiah maupun artikel penelitian kuantitatif yang dapat menunjang karir guru ekonomi di Kabupaten Lamongan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan secara offline maupun onlin. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini meliputi metode ceramah dilakukan dalam penyampaian materi, studi kasus dilakukan pada saat latihan pengolahan data serta interpretasi hasil pengolahan data, pendampingan kepada guru MGMP Ekonomi Lamongan dalam bentuk workshop dan metode penugasan untuk sebagai pengayaan kepada guru MGMP Ekonomi untuk memahami alur analisis data menggunakan SPSS. Seluruh peserta antusias mengikuti pelatihan baik online maupun offline. Harapannya terjalin kerjasama antara MGMP Ekonomi Lamongan dengan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Malang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya temuan fenomena dari penggunaan kalimat imperatif dalam novel yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai sumber belajar dan kalimat imperatif memiliki peran inti dalam menyusun teks prosedur. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) memperoleh deskripsi jenis kalimat imperatif pada novel Rahasia Pelangi, (2) memperoleh deskripsi fungsi kalimat imperatif pada novel Rahasia Pelangi, dan (3) menghasilkan bahan ajar materi teks prosedur kelas XI di SMA dari jenis dan fungsi kalimat imperatif pada novel Rahasia Pelangi Karya Riawani Elyta & Shabrina Ws. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam menyediakan data berupa metode baca dan dilanjutkan dengan metode catat. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan metode agih dengan teknik bagi unsur langsung (BUL). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa adanya penggunaan aspek kalimat imperatif dalam novel Rahasia Pelangi. Adapun jenis kalimat imperatif yang ditemukan yaitu kalimat imperatif biasa, kalimat imperatif halus, kalimat imperatif permintaan, kalimat imperatif ajakan, dan kalimat imperatif larangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kalimat imperatif yang banyak ditemukan yaitu kalimat imperatif biasa. Adapun fungsi kalimat imperatif yang ditemukan yaitu kalimat imperatif yang berfungsi untuk memberikan perintah, memberi ajakan, memberi permintaan, dan memberi larangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi kalimat imperatif yang banyak ditemukan yaitu kalimat imperatif yang berfungsi untuk memberikan perintah. Hasil penelitiannya diimplementasikan sebagai bahan ajar berupa handout materi teks prosedur. Kata Kunci: kalimat imperatif, novel, teks prosedur, bahan ajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini dapat bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition berbantuan media Youtube CNN Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menulis teks berita pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest dan posttest kontrol group yang terdapat dua kelompok sampel. Kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas yang diberikan perlakuan menggunakan metode CIRC berbantuan media Youtube CNN, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. Instrument tersebut telah divalidasi dan memperoleh hasil reabilitas sebesar 0,777 yang artinya instrument tersebut reliabel. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sampel t test dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada siswa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata nilai pretest 67,76 menjadi 84,98 dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 14,045 > t tabel sebesar 1,996. (2) Tidak terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 62,71 menjadi 63,59 dengan jumlah t hitung 572 < ttabel 1,996. (3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil posttest kelas kontrol dan eksperimen dengan nilai t hitung 14,130 > t tabel 1,996. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode CIRC berbantuan media Youtube CNN Indonesia berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks berita pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Magelang.Kata kunci: CIRC, media audiovisual, kemampuan menulis.

Abstract

The main issue raised is how the subjective well-being of this community is influenced by unique cultural ties and traditional values, which are often overlooked in economic-based welfare measurements. This study aims to explore the subjective well-being of the Tengger Tribe community in Ranupani Village, East Java, which reflects the balance between material and non-material aspects. With a phenomenological approach and qualitative methods, this study uncovers the meaning of subjective well-being through in-depth interviews and observations of six key informants. The results show that subjective well-being in the Tengger Tribe community includes life satisfaction obtained from farming activities, sufficient income, availability of free time, and the application of traditional values such as Tri Hita Karana and the teachings of Bekti Marang Guru Papat. Spiritual ties, social solidarity, and harmony with nature also become the main pillars in creating well-being. The implication of this study is the need for local culture-based policies to support indigenous peoples' multidimensional well-being.

Abstract

Rapid advancements in technology related to the fourth industrial revolution have transformed the way financial transactions are conducted, shifting from conventional cash methods to digital finance, also known as fintech. Despite this shift, the adoption of fintech is inconsistent, especially among students, who are an important group for promoting financial inclusion and literacy. This study aims to fill the existing gap by investigating the specific elements that influence fintech adoption among Economics Education students in Java, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as a framework. An explanatory quantitative investigation involving 350 students from three accredited universities shows that attitudes, social factors, and digital financial literacy play an important role in shaping students' intentions to use fintech. Importantly, digital financial literacy stands out as a crucial element, both directly and indirectly encouraging responsible financial practices and the adoption of fintech. The originality of this research lies in its examination of the relationship between education and the use of fintech, emphasizing the importance of digital financial literacy in influencing students' financial actions in an increasingly digital economy.

Abstract

The urgency of family economic education, especially among the fishing communities of Puger coastal area, Jember Regency, needs to be addressed to achieve welfare. The internalisation process that occurs needs to be examined in depth to ensure no party is disadvantaged. This study aims to describe the role of parents in internalising economic education to their children within fishing families and to identify the forms of economic education processes that take place within them. This research is a qualitative phenomenological study with purposive sampling to obtain in-depth knowledge about the economic education of fishing families. Data validation uses technique and source triangulation, analysed with the Miles & Huberman framework, assisted by NVivo 12 Plus software. The findings reveal the uniqueness and advantages of the family economics education for fishermen, which has developed rapidly, not only verbally but also through examples, habituation, and open discussions. The implications of this research theoretically suggest that economic education is more than traditional, but interactive. In practice, the role of parents alongside children is important for the economic welfare. The best policy is to maximise the welfare of fishermen and the future of fishermen's children who must struggle with limited economic resources.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of attitudes towards economics and online learning readiness on mediating the effect of attitudes towards economics on learning outcomes. The research population was active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Surabaya State University, in 2022/2023, with a sample size of 353 students. Quantitative research using structural equation model analysis. The results showed that attitudes towards economics and learning readiness significantly positively affected learning outcomes. In addition, online learning readiness partially can mediate attitudes towards economics on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research explores various factors that influence the decision of young people in Ponorogo who prefer to work abroad as Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) rather than continuing their education and how the family's economic conditions influence the choice to work overseas rather than continuing their education. This research took a qualitative approach with a grounded research design conducted in Pondok Village, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency. Data was collected by observation and interviews with informants as many as 10 PMI children with ages ranging from 6-20 years. The data was then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The research results show that changes in economic activities give rise to a welfare dilemma for young people in Ponorogo who want to become migrant workers rather than continue their education. These results provide valuable insight into the factors that encourage individuals to choose to work abroad rather than continue their education and provide input for better policies to support the education and economic well-being of families in the region.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of directive speech acts found in the dialogues of Asri Aci's MeloDylan film. The formulation of the problem of this research, namely (1) what are the forms of directive speech acts contained in the dialogue of the film MeloDylan by Asri Aci? and (2) what are the directive speech act strategies contained in the dialogues of Asri Aci's MeloDylan? The aims of the study were (1) to obtain a description of the directive speech acts in Asri Aci's MeloDylan dialogue, and (2) to obtain a description of the directive speech act strategies in Asri Aci's MeloDylan. The research subject is the form and strategy of directive speech acts in the dialogue of Asri Aci's Melodylan film. The data collection methods and techniques used are the observing method and the note taking technique. The results of the study found data in the form of directive speech acts. namely (1) data on the form of directive speech acts of commands, (2) data on the forms of directive speech acts on requests, (3) data on the forms of directive speech acts on invitations, (4) on the forms of speech acts on directives of advice, (5) on the forms of speech acts on directives of criticism, and (6) data on the forms of directive speech acts on prohibitions. As for directive speech act strategy data, namely (1) explicit directive speech act strategy data, (2) direct directive speech act strategy data, (3) indirect directive speech act strategy data, and (4) non-literal directive speech act strategy data.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of illocutionary speech acts in the dialog of the main character in the novel. The purpose of the research is to describe the types of illocutionary speech acts in the dialog of the main character in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. As for providing data, it uses the method of listening with the basic technique of tapping and then noting. In analyzing the data using the commensurate method with the technique of sorting the determining elements (PUP). The results of the research found are the types of illocutionary speech acts in the form of: (1) assertive includes explaining, proposing, expressing opinions, complaining, suggesting, stating, and boasting; (2) directive includes giving messages, giving permission, inviting, giving advice, and ordering; (3) commissive includes promising, offering, and threatening; and (4) expressive includes apologizing, praising, and thanking.
