Abstract

This study aims to determine theeimplementation of theeuse oflooseeparts media in improving the ability to count initially inchildren after 5-6 years in Haruniyah Islamic Kindergarten. Theresearch method utilized in conjunction with classroom actionresearch is descriptive. This class action research goes throughthe following stages, namely planning, implementation, action,observation and reflection. The results showed that the child'sinitial numeracy ability of indicators numbering objects 1 to 10by 87.5% was in the very good category, indicators sorted andpaired according to the number of objects 1 to 10 by 50% werein the category of quite good, indicators distinguished thenumber of lots and a few objects by 56.25% in the goodcategory, and the indicators stated the result of reducing objects 1to 10 by 62.5%. Based on the description above, it can beconcluded that through the implementation of the use of looseparts media in improving the ability to count initially in childrenaged 5-6 years, it can be said to be successful.

Abstract

Descriptive method in the form of case study research. The source of the data for this research is the TK B class teacher according to the results of the TK B class teacher interview. This research was conducted for 1 month . The results of the research obtained to determine children who have difficulty learning to read in Bina Sari Kindergarten. Children who have difficulty learning to read are the inability of children to recognize letter symbols, confused when determining some letters (b and d, m and n, p and q, s and z) and vowels (a, i, u, e, o) as the foundation for continuing to the advanced reading stage. “Each group of children with learning disorders, especially those with various behavioral disorders. It should not hinder factors that might influence the outcome of a learning program that is appropriate to the child's learning difficulties.” (Daal, et al. 2012) The results of initial observations that I did at Bina Sari Kindergarten in Pontianak City showed that there were 3 children out of 19 children who had learning difficulties, namely difficulties in learning to read which were marked by (less able to recognize letters).

Abstract

This study get intention to increase children's creativity by science learning assignment on 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina in Singkawang City. This study is action research arrange in two cycles. Subjects in this study is 5-6 year old at TK Negeri Pembina in Singkawang City with a total of 17 children. The research data is increasing children's creativity through science learning activities that are collected using observation and documentation methods with means in the form of checklists and archives or documentation. The data has been gathered was explanation with a comparativedescriptive analysis method. is it know that there is an increment in children's creativity by science learning activities on 5-6 years child at the TK Negeri Pembina Singkawang City. Because the average child at the beginning of the meeting still reaches the developing stage, and at the next meeting the child reaches the developing stage as expected. The results and conclusions of the discussion state that through science learning activities can increase inspiration children on 5-6 years in the TK Negeri Pembina Singkawang City

Abstract

This study aims to develop animated video media for the development of cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years. This animated video media is expected to be feasible and make it easier for children to develop their cognitive aspects. The research conducted is a type of research and development or research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE method (analysis, design, development and implementation, evaluation). The study population was children aged 5-6 years in a limited scale trial with a total of 5 children and a large scale trial with a total of 13 children. Data was collected by observation for needs analysis, questionnaire distribution and validation by validators, namely material experts and media experts. The results of the study obtained an average total score of 85% for material experts and 82.6% for media experts in the "very appropriate" category as an animated video medium. As well as the results of the final observation in the achievement of developing good animated video media and can be used to develop the cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years, with valid information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the traditional Bakiak game for gross motoric development of children aged 5-6 years in kelurahan mariana kecamatan Pontianak kota. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive approach. The data source of this research is children aged 5-6 years 6 people, 3 men, 3 women. Data collection tools through observation sheets, interview guidelines and documentation. Research result shows (1) this traditional Clog game has potential in develop aspects of child development including motor development namely strength, balance and agility. (2) the strength shown when the child is able to use his muscles to lift the Clogs then step one to the next, (3) the balance is shown in when a child walks using clogs by traveling the same distance determined without falling and walking in a straight line using sandals Clogs, (4) agility is shown when the child holds his feet to spin turn around without holding the Clogs and walk using the Clogs without holding his friend.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in stimulating fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Cahaya Desa Kapur. The results showed the teacher's role in planning in stimulating children's fine motor development in good categories, including formulating activity materials, habituation materials, compiling learning materials, planning tools, approaches and learning methods, and resources to be used. The teacher's role in the implementation in stimulating children's fine motor development in good categories, includes formulating activity materials, habituation materials, compiling learning materials, planning tools, approaches and learning methods, and sources to be used. The teacher's role in facilitating children's fine motor development is in the very good category, including preparing learning media and playing an active role in providing assistance in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of teachers in providing sex education to early childhood aged 4-6 years in Bina Empat Lima Kindergarten, East Pontianak. The research method used is a descriptive method by forming qualitative research. The subjects in this study were two teachers who taught at Bina Empat Lima Kindergarten, East Pontianak. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that. The results of the research show that: 1. The role of the teacher as a mediator in providing sex education in early childhood is to mediate and a way o1qut for the role given by children regarding sex education by providing solutions; 2. Techers creating an atmosphere of learning didactic methods when in class by singing and clapping with children while they’re learn about the lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents in providing balanced nutritious food to early childhood at Insani Kindergarten, Nanga Taman District. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this study were parents of children who attended Insani Kindergarten, Nanga Taman District and the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The role of parents as mentors in providing balanced nutrition to early childhood in human kindergartens in Nanga Taman District, has been partially implemented by inviting children to adopt a healthy lifestyle such as teaching children to always wash their hands before and after eating, getting children used to to drink water regularly and consume foods that contain balanced nutrition with rice, vegetables, side dishes and fruit in the child's diet, pay attention to the cleanliness of cutlery and help regulate eating patterns. 2) The role of parents as a motivator in providing balanced nutrition to early childhood in human kindergarten in Nanga Taman District, has been partly implemented with the appreciation given by parents to children regarding healthy food, preparation of a varied food menu, creating food supplies and giving freedom children in selecting food menus. 3) The role of parents as facilitators in providing balanced nutrition to early childhood in Insani Kindergarten, Nanga Taman District, has been partially implemented with parents providing adequate nutrition through a complete food menu with balanced nutritional content, both at home and at school.

Abstract

Interpersonal intelligence is needed by children in the school environment and friendship environment so that children are able to socialize. Efforts that can be made for the development of interpersonal intelligence in early childhood are through playing, one of which is by playing traditional games, namely the Labuk jarum game. This study aims to describe the Labuk jarum Traditional Game for the Development of Interpersonal Intelligence for Children Aged 5-6 Years in Boyan Tanjung Village, Kapuas Hulu District. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were early childhood and parents who had played labuk jarum. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that: 1. The Labuk jarum game can develop empathic abilities in children aged 5-6 years in Boyan Tanjung Village, Kapuas Hulu District, children show the ability to empathize with their friends which is shown when playing, children want to help their friends, 2. The Labuk jarum game can develop organization abilities in children aged 5-6 years in Boyan Tanjung Village, Kapuas Hulu District, children follow directions or game rules in a structured manner and children can arrange playing rules in a structured manner, 3. The Labuk jarum game can develop the ability to make friends in children aged 5-6 years in the village Boyan Tanjung, Kapuas Hulu District, when children play, they can be seen in relation their peers or other people.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis virtual reality merupakan sebuah media yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kemajuan teknologi pada era digital ini yang memberikan warna pada pembelajaran di PAUD dan juga menjadi sebuah inovasi baru pada pelajaran agama Konghucu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kelayakan pengembangan media berbasis virtual reality dalam pengenalan rumah ibadah agama Konghucu pada anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan metode R&D dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Sebelum dilakukan uji coba produk kepada anak di TK Karya Yosef Pontianak media virtual reality ini telah dibuat divalidasikan terlebih dahulu oleh Ahli Media dan juga Ahli Materi. Selanjutnya media diuji cobakan kepada anak, dengan hasil uji coba penggunaan media virtual reality dalam pengenalan rumah ibadah agama Konghucu pada pada anak kelas B1 mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 4,96 dengan kriteria “Sangat Efektif” artinya pengembangan media VR ini sangat layak untuk dikembangkan atau digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di PAUD pada pengenalan rumah ibadah agama Konghucu
