Abstract

Natural and non-natural disasters can cause long-term psychological impacts on affected individuals, including the emergence of post-traumatic stress disorder. However, some victims actually experience positive changes known as post-traumatic growth (PTG), which is psychological growth that occurs after facing a traumatic event. PTG does not form automatically, but is influenced by various factors, one of which is social support. Effective social support can strengthen resilience, provide a sense of security, and facilitate the reinterpretation of the trauma experienced. Objective to identify and synthesize scientific evidence regarding the relationship between social support and PTG in disaster victims.Method: This study used a systematic review design, with article searches conducted through three main databases: PubMed, CINAHL, and Scopus. The keywords used were: “post-traumatic growth” OR “PTG” AND “social support” AND “disaster” OR “natural disaster” OR “earthquake” OR “flood” OR “tsunami”. Inclusion criteria included original research articles published in English between 2015–2025 and explicitly discussing the relationship between social support and PTG in disaster victim populations. Data were extracted manually using a table that included the author, purpose, design, sample, location, instrument, and results of the study. Data analysis was conducted descriptively qualitatively with a thematic analysis approach. A total of 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria were successfully identified and analyzed. The results of the study showed that social support consistently plays a role in encouraging the occurrence of PTG through various mechanisms: as a direct predictor, a mediator between psychological factors (such as resilience and survivor guilt), and as a moderator of the relationship between psychopathological symptoms and PTG. Six main themes were found in the thematic analysis: the direct role of social support, psychological mediation, moderating function on depression and anxiety, strengthening resilience, diversity of support sources, and vicarious PTG experiences. PTG does not solely depend on individual characteristics, but is also influenced by the extent to which they are connected to a supportive social environment. Therefore, nursing practice needs to integrate aspects of social support in disaster victim care, either through family, community, or professional service approaches.

Abstract

Adolescent is a growth phase that is quite vulnerable because it is a phase of searching for self-identity. At the stage of adolescent development, the role of parents is needed because it is a place for teens to ask in the process of finding their true identity. Some studies show that parental divorce primarily has a negative impact on adolescent psychology. Adolescent mental health due to divorce parents need to get treatment by knowing the initial signs and symptoms of early psychosis and providing nurses nurses' actions and specialist actions. The writing of this scientific paper explains the results of therapeutic measures of nurses, therapeutic group therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in reducing the rate of prodroma in adolescents with divorced parents. The method used is case series. Analysis was carried out on 6 teenagers, ages 13-16 years and had divorced parents. Results: Adolescents with divorced parents had increased prodroma rates after receiving therapeutic group therapy, but there was an increase in the achievement of developmental tasks and an increase in cognitive, emotional and psychosocial developmental abilities that were the basis for reducing prodroma. Cognitive behavioral therapy reduces the rate of prodroma in adolescents with divorced parents. The need for further research related to the effectiveness of therapy with more samples.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the influence of prices and products on PT. XYZ Forwarding Indonesia on Repurchase Intention with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. This affects business competition conditions in the Freight Forwarding industry. Currently, many Freight Forwarding companies have just been established and dare to provide the best offers to attract their customers. The type of research used is quantitative research using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The population in this study was PT service users. XYZ Forwarding Indonesia, the sample used was 154 people who had used the service at least twice. The sampling technique used is Probability Sampling. Data analysis technique through SEM-PLS measurements with the help of Smart PLS 4.0.5.9. Software. Based on the results of SEM analysis, the results show that price has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. On the other hand, price has a negative effect on repurchase intention. Then the product is stated to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction and the product also has a positive effect on repurchase interest. Customer satisfaction has a positive effect on repurchase interest. Furthermore, products do not have a direct influence on repurchase interest but are mediated through customer satisfaction. Price also does not have a direct influence on repurchase interest and is mediated through customer satisfaction. So from a Freight Forwarding perspective, companies must pay attention to price in each sale to be able to fulfill customers' desires and make repeat purchases.

Abstract

On-time student graduation is a situation where a student graduates from their educational program at the time planned or determined by the relevant educational institution. This research aims to optimize predictions of student graduation on time using the Binning method to group variables into discrete categories and Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) to overcome class imbalances in the dataset. Data containing several variables was analyzed using the Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree and Random Forest machine learning algorithms. Model evaluation is carried out using metrics such as precision, Recall, accuracy, and F1-score. The results confirm that the combination of Binning and SMOTE has a significant impact on increasing prediction accuracy. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to increasing the accuracy of predicting student graduation on time. By optimizing the use of Binning and SMOTE, it is hoped that the prediction model can overcome the problem of data imbalance and provide more accurate information to higher education institutions to take the necessary preventive actions to increase student graduation rates and become a reference for similar research in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack detection system based on Wavelet Decomposition capable of identifying network traffic anomalies in real-time. The main problem addressed is the high false positive rate in conventional detection methods, which often fail to distinguish between legitimate traffic bursts and actual attacks. Two primary data sources were used: the CICIDS2017 dataset and self-generated data representing controlled DDoS attack patterns. The proposed method applies Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to decompose network traffic signals into amplitude and energy components. Detection is then performed using the Median Absolute Deviation (MAD) approach, optimized with three parameter search methods: Grid Search, Random Search, and Optuna. Experimental results indicate that the energy-based method with Optuna optimization achieves the best performance, with an accuracy of 98.6% on the CICIDS2017 dataset and 99.4% on the self-generated data, and error rates of 1.4% and 0.6%, respectively. This research contributes to enhancing the accuracy of DDoS detection systems with low computational overhead, making it suitable for large-scale network environments.
