Abstract

The strategy of the Election Supervisory Agency in supervising the quality of services for groups with disabilities in the implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in NTB is one of the obligations to realize democratic election rights. This study aims to determine the strategy of the NTB Provincial Election Supervisory Agency in supervising the quality of services for groups with disabilities in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in NTB and to determine the factors that influence the implementation of strategies for the quality of services for groups with disabilities in the implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in NTB. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data were obtained through interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that the strategy of the Election Supervisory Agency in supervising the quality of services for groups with disabilities in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in NTB has three aspects. The first aspect determines the long-term formulation, the second aspect selects a series of actions, the third aspect determines the allocation of resources, and shows that the factors that influence the implementation of the Election Supervisory Agency's strategy are communication factors and resource factors.

Abstract

Public service is a mandatory duty of the government apparatus as a public servant. This understanding implies that in carrying out their duties, they must always try to serve the interests of the community by complying with applicable regulations. The type and model of this research is a quantitative research model by analyzing data validity, data reliability and hypothesis testing. This study aims to examine whether there is an influence between the independent and dependent variables, namely between the variable Professionalism of the Village Government Apparatus Performance (X) on the quality of public services (Y) in Prapen Village, Praya District, Central Lombok Regency. The results of the study support the existence of a significant influence on the quality of public services, the professionalism of employee performance on the level of community satisfaction in Prapen Village, Praya District, Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pengembangan promosi wisata Kuta Mandalika melalui digital tourism dengan model pantehelix. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian kualitatif merupakan payungnya berbagai metode penelitian naturalitik dalam kehidupan sosial. Dalam penelitian ini yang akan menjadi data primer adalah pemerintah (DISPAR), komunitas swasta (PT. ITDC), pelaku usaha (UMKM), media, dan akademisi. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan peneliti yaitu observasi, wawancara (Interview), dan dokumentasi, Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti diketahui bahwa pengembangan promosi wisata melalui digital tourism di wisata kuta Mandalika telah dilakukan melalui berbagai pengembangan aplikasi berbasis website dan melalui berbagai platform media sosial untuk mendukung promosi wisata kuta mandalika, selain hal itu secara bersama-sama kolaborasi melalui model pentahelix kerja sama antara pemerintah, akademisi, komunitas, pebisnis dan media telah memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan wisata kuta Mandalika. Penerapan digital tourism ini berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi, informasi, promosi serta pelayanan kepada masyarakat dalam pengembangan wisata kuta mandalika.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the performance of the Mataram City General Election Commission in increasing public political participation in the 2024 presidential election. The research method used is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, documentation, and theoretical studies. The results of this study indicate that the performance of the Mataram City General Election Commission in increasing public political participation in the 2024 presidential election has 5 aspects, namely the first quality of work, the quality of work of the Mataram City KPU, namely its success in managing logistics, human resources, and election infrastructure, as well as providing effective complaint channels for voters and election observers. Second productivity, the productivity of the Mataram City KPU, namely conducting voter data collection, procurement of logistics, and socialization to the community such as providing an understanding of the stages in the implementation of the election. Third initiative, the initiative of the Mataram City KPU, namely conducting direct voter education in communities and schools, in order to provide understanding to new voters and conduct intensive training for KPPS officers in increasing capacity and professionalism. Fourth cooperation, the Mataram City KPU has collaborated with the Mataram city government in order to ensure logistical and infrastructure support such as the provision of polling stations, security and campaign facilities, as well as cooperation with community organizations (ORMAS) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in various activities such as monitoring polling stations, voter education, and campaign supervision. Fifth responsibility, the responsibility of the Mataram City KPU is to submit reports on the implementation of voting and vote counting to the NTB KPU to the RI KPU such as data on the presence of observers and witnesses for election participants at each polling station, as well as reports on the recapitulation of vote counting results such as data on the acquisition of votes for each candidate at the sub-district and city levels.

Abstract

Rural economic development is an important aspect of improving the welfare of rural communities. However, in many regions, including West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB), rural economic growth still faces various limitations. Ranggagata Village in Central Lombok Regency is an agricultural village where the majority of the population depends on seasonal rice farming for their livelihood. This condition causes unstable community income and encourages the emergence of various alternative economic strategies. This study aims to analyze the economic conditions of the Ranggagata Village community and the role of the village government in community economic empowerment efforts. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through field observations, interviews with village officials, BUMDes managers, and the community, as well as a documentation study of the APBDes and village planning documents. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, accompanied by data triangulation to maintain the validity of the findings. The results of the study show that the village economy is still dependent on a single agricultural sector, while BUMDes is not yet functioning optimally. The allocation of the economic empowerment budget in the APBDes is relatively low and is not fully in line with applicable regulations. This condition has given rise to the phenomenon of kioskization as a survival strategy for the community, but has not been able to improve welfare in a sustainable manner. This study recommends strengthening village economic institutions, increasing the allocation of empowerment budgets, and developing data-based local economic potential so that village economic development is more effective and sustainable

Abstract

Tourism development in Central Lombok Regency has experienced significant acceleration following the designation of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) as a national super-priority tourism destination. Despite its positive impact on economic growth and investment, this tourism development has not yet fully provided equitable benefits to local communities, particularly buffer-village communities. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of community-based tourism governance from a perspective beyond sustainability, emphasizing the roles of actors, network relationships, and opportunities to strengthen Community-Based Tourism (CBT) in Central Lombok Regency. The study used a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and a review of regional planning documents. Data analysis was conducted using a Social Network Analysis (SNA) approach to map the structure and roles of actors in tourism governance. The results show that the tourism governance network remains centralized on institutional actors and area managers, while local communities are in a peripheral position. However, this study is limited by its focus on a single regional case and the use of cross-sectional network data, which restricts the ability to capture longitudinal governance dynamics and comparative patterns across destinations. Future research is therefore recommended to employ multi-site comparative designs and longitudinal Social Network Analysis to examine how governance structures evolve and to assess the impacts of policy interventions on community empowerment. In addition, integrating quantitative socio-economic indicators with network analysis would provide a more comprehensive understanding of how governance configurations influence livelihood outcomes. Such extensions would strengthen empirical evidence for advancing regenerative tourism models that genuinely place local communities at the center of tourism development.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism has become a dominant paradigm in regional development; however, its implementation often emphasizes economic growth and environmental preservation while overlooking community empowerment. North Lombok Regency, one of Indonesia’s leading tourism destinations, has experienced complex development dynamics following the 2018 earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic. These conditions have necessitated a transformation toward a beyond sustainability approach through Community-Based Tourism (CBT), positioning local communities as key actors in tourism governance. This study aims to analyze policy directions, development strategies, and tourism performance achievements in North Lombok, and to assess the extent to which CBT principles have been implemented. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using policy documents (RENSTRA 2021–2026, RENJA 2022–2023, and LKJIP 2023) and tourism performance data. Data were analyzed using content analysis and network analysis to identify patterns of collaboration among stakeholders. The findings reveal a significant shift from growth-oriented tourism toward inclusive, community-led development. Tourism indicators show a 113% increase in visitor numbers, a 46% rise in regional tourism revenue, and expansion of active tourism villages. Network analysis indicates a moderately dense collaboration (density 0.62), with the Tourism Office and Pokdarwis Senaru as central actors. The study concludes that the beyond sustainability approach strengthens community resilience, promotes equitable development, and fosters participatory tourism governance.

Abstract

Studi ini menggambarkan strategi untuk pengembangan pariwisata halal Aik Nyet di desa Buwun sejati, Kabupaten lombok Barat. Pendekatan yang terdegradasi secara kualitatif digunakan untuk memeriksa dua aspek utama pengembangan pariwisata: aspek fisik dan non-fisik. Dari aspek fisik, pengembangan mencakup daya tarik pariwisata alam, penyediaan lembaga dukungan, dan aksesibilitas infrastruktur. Sementara itu, aspek non-fisik termasuk dimasukkannya Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah dan penggunaan teknologi digital untuk mempromosikan masyarakat dan memperkuat ekonomi melalui penciptaan lapangan kerja. Prinsip -prinsip pariwisata halal diintegrasikan dengan menyediakan fasilitas yang cocok untuk Syariah dan mempertahankan nilai -nilai budaya dan kebijaksanaan lokal. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata Aik Nyet memiliki dampak positif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi regional, peningkatan pendapatan lokal, peningkatan peluang kerja dan promosi sektor ekonomi lainnya. Namun, untuk memastikan keberlanjutan, pendekatan manajemen pariwisata diperlukan yang memperhatikan keberlanjutan ekologis dan untuk mendiversifikasi masyarakat dan ekonomi. Studi ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model pariwisata halal berkelanjutan sebagai strategi adaptasi untuk tantangan global dan kebutuhan lokal.

Abstract

The study in this study wanted to know about the leadership role of the Quadruple Helix in Covid-19 non-natural Disaster Management in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Quadruple Helix leadership is a form of leader capacity who is an actor who has successfully collaborated in disaster response. The Quadruple Helix leadership model in the Unitary State of Regional Autonomy can be implemented with the Government acting as a regulator and implementing socialization, then Academics are tasked with making research and issuing their latest innovation products, while Business or Private plays a role as fund support, and the Community participates in supporting policies. The form of active collaboration between the Government, the private sector, universities and the community is the basis of the Covid-19 non-natural disaster management system as an effort to handle and mitigate. The method used in this study is qualitative research with interview data collection techniques to related stakeholders. The results in this study were the management of non-natural Covid-19 disasters in Mataram City using the Quadruple Helix model running well. The cooperation of the four (Government, Academics, Business/Private and Community) was able to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in Mataram City. Collaboration from all existing Helix is ??needed to continue to encourage the birth of innovations in the field of knowledge, formulation of ideal and targeted policies, support for assistance and donations in the form of logistics and medical devices, and mutual understanding from the community that is able to have a positive impact in suppressing the spread of Covid -19 in Mataram City.

Abstract

Abstarct : The Creative Economy Development Training for Indonesian Migrant Workers in Malaysia addresses participants' lack of understanding and skills in marketing strategies and developing creative ideas essential for inclusive economic growth. Group discussions, simulations, and practical sessions are at the heart of this training, allowing participants to share experiences, develop thinking, and apply learned concepts in authentic contexts. Apart from improving individual skills, the main aim of the training is to strengthen awareness of the vital role of the creative economy in driving inclusive growth. The results of this program were that most participants needed more knowledge in marketing and developing creative ideas. Therefore, an interactive and participatory approach was used in preparing activities. Participants develop a deep understanding of effective marketing strategies and creative idea development techniques. At the end of the program, participants will not only be able to become active agents of change in advancing the creative economy in Malaysia. Still, they can also improve the welfare of the Indonesian migrant worker community. This training not only functions as a source of knowledge but also as a forum for building sustainable capacity and awareness in the context of the creative economy. Keywords : Training; Creative Economy; Indonesian Migrant Workers; Malaysia                                                                                           Abstrak : Pelatihan Pengembangan Ekonomi Kreatif bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia di Malaysia dirancang untuk mengatasi kekurangan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam strategi pemasaran dan pengembangan ide kreatif yang esensial bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi inklusif. Diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan sesi praktis menjadi inti dari pelatihan ini, memungkinkan peserta untuk berbagi pengalaman, mengembangkan pemikiran, dan menerapkan konsep yang dipelajari dalam konteks nyata. Selain meningkatkan keterampilan individu, tujuan utama pelatihan adalah memperkuat kesadaran akan peran vital ekonomi kreatif dalam menggerakkan pertumbuhan yang inklusif.metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil program ini yaitu, mayoritas peserta teridentifikasi belum memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai dalam pemasaran dan pengembangan ide kreatif, oleh karena itu pendekatan interaktif dan partisipatif digunakan dalam penyusunan kegiatan. Peserta mengembangkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan teknik pengembangan ide kreatif. Diakhir program, peserta tidak hanya mampu menjadi agen perubahan aktif dalam memajukan ekonomi kreatif di Malaysia, tetapi juga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan komunitas pekerja migran Indonesia secara keseluruhan.
