Abstract

The main problem in partner locations is the lack of community awareness in responding to disasters; residents do not yet understand the risks and impacts of natural disasters and preventive measures that can be taken to reduce losses. This lack of knowledge makes the community unprepared and slow to respond to emergencies, ultimately increasing their safety and well-being risk. The training includes counselling sessions, workshops, and disaster simulations. Each session is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the types of disasters, mitigation techniques, evacuation, and first aid steps. The results of this training showed a significant increase in the preparedness and response of the Rembitan Village community to emergencies. The post-disaster simulation evaluation also showed an increase in the participants' practical abilities in dealing with disasters. This program strengthens social structures and solidarity between residents and creates a model that can be applied in other villages with similar disaster risks. With ongoing support, Rembitan Village is expected to become a successful example of building community resilience to disasters, ultimately improving its residents' welfare and security. Abstract

Disasters in Indonesia are inevitable. Disasters occur due to unpreparedness for the risks and impacts of hazards. Understanding hazards and disaster risk reduction needs to be socialized to the community in an effort to reduce vulnerability and increase capacity. The community is the party directly affected, physically, mentally, and socially, by loss, damage, and loss due to disasters. This study aimed to analyze Disaster Resilient Villages: a systematic review in social sciences. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study showed five significant problems of disaster resilient villages. These problems include Local, Disaster, Community, Management, and Risk. This study also involved disaster resilient villages. This study adds something new to the theory by mapping the idea of disaster-resilient villages and looking for relationships between ideas and other important ideas. This study also provides the following practical steps: (1) villages can use knowledge about disaster resilience to assess their resilience through a comprehensive model. (2). The government can adopt the model to measure disaster resilient villages. (3). As a means for villages to behave resiliently in facing disasters

Abstract

The Population and Civil Registration Service of North Lombok Regency is a government institution that provides services to the community, especially in population services. In 2013, the services provided by the Population and Civil Registration Service were still less than optimal and less transparent, especially in the service of making E-KTP. As a state institution tasked with providing maximum and transparent services, the Population and Civil Registration Service of North Lombok Regency must strive so that the community can get maximum and open services. The purpose of the study was to see the extent of transparency of services, especially in making E-KTP at the Population and Civil Registration Service of North Lombok Regency. This study uses a qualitative method to see the actual picture of what happened at the research location, with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations, and documentation. Furthermore, the data obtained by the researcher was analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study illustrate that the service in making E-KTP by the Dukcapil Office of North Lombok Regency can be said to be transparent, because the Dukcapil party emphasizes three important aspects so that the service can be more optimal and transparent, namely: provision of clear information, ease of access to information, and the existence of publications related to the service flow, in this case the Dukcapil of North Lombok Regency utilizes social media such as Instagram and Facebook to publish related to the service flow provided. Driving factors and inhibiting factors for transparency of service in making E-KTP The driving factors for transparent service itself can be through strong leadership, committed leaders and competent human resources. The factors that have always been inhibiting transparent service are the first: Lack of commitment from leaders because the lack of commitment from leaders will inhibit transparent services, open and accountable practices.

Abstract

Waste problems have become a serious problem, especially in big cities and densely populated areas. Especially in the Bengkel Village area, Labuapi District, and West Lombok Regency, there are still piles of garbage on the side of the road and on empty land that is not a TPS. This research was conducted in Bengkel Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency. This study aims to know the implementation of the zero waste management policy. This research uses qualitative methods. The data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique in this research is NVivo, the data reduction stage, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Implementation of the Zero Waste System Waste Management Policy has generally been implemented and realized. It can be seen from (1) The behaviour of inter-organizational relations in Bengkel Village has gone well with the commitment of the village government community leaders in realizing the Village Regulation on Waste Management and the coordination of the Village Government with the hamlet heads. (2) Lower Level Implementor Behavior has been implemented. It can be seen from the organizational control, work ethic, and professionalism of lower-level bureaucrats. (3) Target Group Behavior, namely the community, gives a positive response and supports the waste management policy in Bengkel village. Supporting factors in the Implementation of the Zero Waste System Waste Management Policy are the fleet of garbage trucks, 3-wheeled garbage transportation facilities, garbage can facilities, and sufficient waste workers. While the inhibiting factors in the Implementation of the Zero Waste System Waste Management Policy are lack of public awareness, weather constraints, lack of waste transportation facilities or meters, zero waste socialization has not been comprehensive, and the construction of TPS is constrained by location or land.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of zero waste, identify effective implementation strategies, assess the chances of success and establish an integrated waste management model for implementation in Pegesangan Village, Mataram City. This study uses descriptive and qualitative methods. The data sources for this study are primary data obtained directly from the government, private sector, universities, the community and information media. In addition, it is supported by secondary data obtained from documents, publications or literature related to zero waste system waste management strategies. The results of this study indicate that the lack of public awareness of the importance of waste management and the existence of traditional markets hinder the effectiveness of waste management and sorting, making it difficult to implement a zero-waste system in the Pegesangan Barat Village area. To overcome these obstacles, the Pegesangan Village Government implemented a "waste sorting" program between organic and inorganic waste. With proper waste separation, organic waste can be processed into useful compost and inorganic waste can be recycled or managed more efficiently. Therefore, community and government involvement is needed to create a waste management plan with a zero waste system, protect the environment, and produce benefits and economic value from the waste produced.

Abstract

This study examines the socio-economic conditions in Jereweh and Maluk Districts, industrial regions associated with PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara, focusing on the economic disparities among various community groups. The research aims to analyze these gaps and propose context-specific policies and poverty alleviation programs. Grounded in Agile Governance theory, which emphasizes Responsiveness, Adaptability, Collectivity, and Innovativeness, the study employs a qualitative methodology. Informants include the Regional Government, PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara, local communities, and NGOs, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection methods encompass observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by NVivo 12 Plus software. The findings reveal significant economic disparities within the communities of Jereweh and Maluk Districts, particularly among economically disadvantaged groups who have not fully benefited from the industrial activities. This has exacerbated economic inequality in the region. To address these issues, the study introduces a novel approach that integrates Agile Governance with a zoning system. It offers actionable policy recommendations, such as enhancing access to information, providing skills training, facilitating access to capital for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and strengthening community participation in decision-making processes. Additionally, the study proposes innovative solutions like the sharing economy and crowdfunding to foster inclusive economic growth. The insights and recommendations from this research provide practical guidance for stakeholders and can serve as a model for addressing similar challenges in other industrial areas. By combining theoretical frameworks with actionable strategies, this study contributes to the broader discourse on reducing economic inequality and promoting sustainable development in resource-rich but economically divided regions.
