Abstract

This study aims to analyze the experiential learning approach as an innovative pedagogical strategy in developing youth entrepreneurial capabilities, with an emphasis on character transformation and learning innovation. Employing a literature review method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, data were gathered from 30 scholarly articles and reputable sources published between 1980 and 2025, which were then rigorously filtered to 17 most relevant articles. The analysis reveals that experiential learning enhances entrepreneurial technical skills and cultivates core character values such as independence, responsibility, creativity, and resilience. This approach aligns with Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory and constructivist pedagogy, and is supported by various case studies, such as project-based entrepreneurship programs in educational institutions. Furthermore, this study reveals that systemic integration of experiential learning into curricula can serve as a strategic solution for preparing youth to be adaptive to the challenges of the digital economy and social transformation.

Abstract

This research aims to examine in depth the strengthening of community social and economic literacy through an integrated intervention model approach in community-based service programmes. Using a qualitative literature review method and descriptive analysis, 20 articles selected from 30 literatures collected through Google Scholar and other credible websites (period 1987-2025) were analysed to find patterns, findings, and good practices in community empowerment. This study reveals that the success of improving the social and economic literacy of the community is greatly influenced by the active involvement of the community in the entire service process, from problem identification to monitoring and evaluation. Relevant theories such as Community Empowerment Theory, Participatory Development Approach, Asset-Based Community Development, and Ecological Systems Theory become the main foundation in supporting the implementation of sustainable integrated interventions. In addition, a number of case studies show that a holistic approach involving various social, economic, digital and local cultural aspects can significantly improve the individual and collective capacity of the community. The results of this study provide theoretical and practical contributions for service programme designers to be more structured, inclusive, and have a long-term impact on community independence.

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the impact of job autonomy, innovation culture, and emotional intelligence on the sales performance of MSMEs, with creativity as a mediating variable. Given the intense competition in the business environment, MSMEs must foster innovation and creativity to enhance their sales performance. Job autonomy enables MSME owners and managers to make independent decisions, fostering creativity in problem-solving. At the same time, an innovation culture promotes boldness in generating new ideas, and emotional intelligence strengthens customer and team relationships. Method – This research adopts a quantitative approach using the SEM-PLS methodology, with a sample of 100 MSMEs in Bandung city, Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected via an online questionnaire. Findings – The findings reveal that job autonomy, innovation culture, and emotional intelligence significantly and positively affect sales performance, with creativity playing a crucial mediating role. Implications – Theoretically, this study extends the self-determination theory (SDT), organizational innovation theory, and resource-based view (RBV) theory by demonstrating the interplay between autonomy, innovation, and emotional intelligence in enhancing creativity and sales performance. Practically, the findings highlight the need for MSME owners to foster workplace autonomy, encourage an innovative work culture, and enhance employees' emotional intelligence to improve business success through creative approaches.

Abstract

Abstract

The twenty-first century is a century of knowledge, discovery, and innovation, with rapid advances in science and information technology marking significant developments. The level of competitiveness within organizations is increasing. This truth motivates entrepreneurs to grow in order for their businesses to thrive. The major goal of this research is to examine how intellectual capital and innovative work behavior affect business performance in SMEs. The author then explains the three constructions' conceptual structure. To further understand the relationship between variables, quantitative methods based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) variance were used. Participants were chosen from SMEs in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, via an online questionnaire. The findings of this research show that intellectual capital and creative work behavior have a positive and significant effect on business performance. SMEs can use intellectual capital to define expected performance and as a tool to evaluate performance to develop employees who will be able to meet the needs of SMEs in the future. Furthermore, it demonstrates that SMEs, not just large corporations, can attain high-performance levels through synchronizing intellectual capital and innovative work behavior.

Abstract

Digital marketing has become one of the essential elements in supporting the growth and sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the modern era. Along with the development of information technology, digital marketing offers opportunities for MSMEs to expand their markets and increase product visibility to a broader range of consumers. In this context, innovation in digital marketing becomes a key factor driving MSMEs' success in achieving sustainable growth. This study aims to further review how digital marketing innovation and the use of information systems can support MSME market expansion. This research employs a literature review approach focusing on qualitative methods. It does not involve primary data collection but instead relies on relevant and up-to-date sources from various scholarly articles. The data used in this study is sourced from Google Scholar with a publication range from 2013-2024. The study concludes that digital marketing innovation and the use of information systems play a crucial role in expanding MSME markets. Digital marketing innovation allows MSMEs to reach consumers more broadly and efficiently, utilizing digital platforms such as social media, e-commerce, and websites. Meanwhile, information systems help improve operational efficiency, data management, and more accurate decision-making based on data analysis. Case studies of Batik Trusmi, Maicih, and Sociolla show that MSMEs adopting these innovations can expand their market share, increase customer loyalty, and compete more effectively in both domestic and international markets.
