Abstract

The study aimed to improve students’ creativity in social science learning about Theme 7 “The Beauty of Diversity in My Country through Project Based Learning. The classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. The subjects were teachers and fourth grade students of SDN 1 Kutosari. The data were qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The data validity used triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicated that the application of Project-Based Learning improved students’ creativity about “The Beauty of Diversity in My Country. The percentages of students’ creativity were 74.99% in the first cycle and 85.98% in the second cycle. It concludes that the application of Project Based Learning improves students’ creativity in social science learning about Theme 7 “The Beauty of Diversity in My Country to fourth grade students at SDN 1 Kutosari in academic year of 2021/2022.

Abstract

Abstract The study aimed to describe: the implementation of character values through home visit services, the obstacles, and the effort to deal with obstacles in implementing character values through home visit services in the theme of Fresh Air for Health to fifth grade students of SD Negeri Sidototo. It was qualitative method. The subjects were teachers and students of fifth grade. The results indicated that character values consisted of tolerance, disipline, honest, responsibility, environmental concern, curiosity, hard work, communication, cooperation, and perseverance. The home visit service applied the following aspects such as volunteerism, open-minded, activity, independence, dynamics, cohesiveness, normativity, and contemporary. The obstacles in implementing character values through home visit were the student’houses were far from the place for home visit activities, the students did not go to the home visit to study for various reasons, the students were jealous since their houses were not used as a place for home visit, the students had limited transportation, the learning facilities at the home visit were limited, and the students were pivky in making friends. The teachers made appropriate efforts to overcome the obstacles in implementing character values through home visit services.

Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga merupakan lingkungan pendidikan pertama yang didapatkan oleh seorang siswa seperti mendapatkan perhatian, bimbingan, dan pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi sehingga siswa dapat mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya demi meraih hasil belajar maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa dan (2) mengetahui sumbangan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 229 siswa kelas V di sebelas SDN se-Kecamatan Prembun yang dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik probability sampling jenis cluster random sampling dengan SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menujukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN se-Kecamatan Prembun (nilai Sig. 0.000 < 0,05). Sedangkan untuk hasil analisis korelasi didapatkan r hitung sebesar 0,573 dan r tabel sebesar 0,129. Lingkungan keluarga memberikan sumbangan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 32% dan sisanya 68% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aimed to describe the learning difficulties in natural science reviewed from learning styles to fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kebumen in academic year of 2020/2021. It was a qualitative approach with case study research methods. The results indicated that the students with visual learning style had difficulty in classifying, concluding, and comparing. Their difficulties met easy category. The students with auditory learning style had difficulty in interpreting, classifying, concluding, and comparing. Their difficulties met sufficient category. The students with kinesthetic learning style had difficulty in exemplifying, classifying, concluding, and comparing. Their difficulties met moderate category. The students' learning difficulties were caused by internal factors and external factors. The internal factors were interest, motivation, and study habits. External factors were learning methods and learning materials. To overcome the difficulties, the teacher made various learning activities adjusted to the type of student learning style.Keywords: learning difficulties, science, learning style

Abstract

AbstractThe study aimed to prove that there was the positive correlation between learning discipline and learning motivation on Pancasila and Civic Education learning outcomes to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Banjarnegara Sub-district in academic year of 2021/2022. The population were 804 fourth grade students and the samples were 363 fourth grade students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The validity method included question analysis using Pearson correlation analysis. Reliability used the Alpha (Cronbach’s) formula. The prerequisite test used normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. Data analysis techniques used multiple correlation analysis. The result indicated that the correlation value between learning discipline and learning motivation was 0.570 on Pancasila and Civic Education learning outcomes. The significant value was 0.000 less than 0.5.

Abstract

AbstrakGaya belajar dan kemandirian belajar merupakan faktor yang dapat memengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (2) mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (3) mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar dan kemandirian belajar secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, (2) terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar dan kemandirian belajar secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

The free platform is a free application that can be used to evaluate online learning. The problem is that teachers are hampered by using modern free platforms. Teachers still apply conventional assessments, such as printing paper, taking photos of student's work, and sending them via WhatsApp groups. This assistance is intended to describe the results of training on using free platforms to develop assessments in online learning for elementary schools in Kebumen Regency. Servants collaborated with several partners, namely Public Elementary School 4 Kedawung, Public Elementary School 2 Kewayuhan, Public Elementary School 1 Kewayuhan, and Public Elementary School 3 Kewayuhan. The first training was held on June 24, 2021. The service results showed that the preparation aspect had reached a sufficient percentage of 75.4%, while the implementation aspect had a percentage result of 80.1% in the high category. Moreover, the processing aspect reached a sufficient percentage of 75.4 %, and the utilization aspect reached 79% with a good category. From these results, it can be concluded that teachers can follow the procedures for using free platforms (Google Forms and Quizizz) to develop assessments quite well.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to prove the existence of (1) positive correlation of motivation to learn with mathematics learning achievement; (2) positive correlation of self-confidence with mathematics learning achievement; (3) positive correlation of  motivation to learn and self-confidence with mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students of public elementary schools in Buluspesantren Subdistrict in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. In the analysis of research data, the researcher used SPSS version 21 application in analyzing data correlation. The results showed that the correlation between learning motivation and self-confidence with mathematics learning outcomes was 0.7 and the contribution was 49.1%. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivation to learn and self-confidence with the results of mathematics learning in the fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Buluspesantren Subdistrict.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya: (1) pengaruh signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan hasil belajar matematika; (2) pengaruh signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika; (3) pengaruh signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Puring tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode regresi ganda. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan hasil belajar matematika sebesar 10,23%; (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika sebesar 20,77%; (3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dan motivasi belajar secara simultan dengan hasil belajar matematika sebesar 31%. Berdasarkan analisis dan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas IV SDN se-Kecamatan Puring tahun ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis jenis-jenis kesalahan siswa kelas IV dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika tentang bangun datar; (2) menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika tentang bangun datar; (3) menguraikan alteratif solusi memperbaiki kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika tentang bangun datar pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Patikraja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif metode studi kasus dengan objek siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis kesalahan dan persentase yang dilakukan siswa yaitu: kesalahan membaca (reading error) = 9,2%, kesalahan memahami (comprehension error) = 19,4%, kesalahan transformasi masalah (transformation error) = 23,3%, kesalahan keterampilan proses (process skill error) = 35,8%, kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir (encoding error) = 35,5%; (2) faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dibagi menjadi 2, yaitu faktor internal ( berasal dari dalam diri siswa) dan eksternal (berasal dari lingkungan luar siswa yaitu guru); (3) alternatif solusi untuk memperbaiki kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika secara garis besar yaitu: (a) siswa harus disiplin untuk menuliskan langkah-langkah soal cerita matematika; (b) guru harus menekankan pada siswa agar menuliskan langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal cerita secara lengkap; (c) guru harus menekankan konsep-konsep dasar dalam mengerjakan soal cerita; (d) guru sebaiknya melakukan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan efektif.
