Abstract

Using a literature review and qualitative descriptive approach, this study investigates the growth trends of Islamic mutual funds in Indonesia during the period 2020–2025. The results show that the net asset value (NAV), number of investors, and a stronger digital ecosystem indicate positive growth for Islamic mutual funds. The digital transformation carried out by fintech platforms is crucial for improving access, transparency, and investment literacy. However, industry optimization is still hampered by issues such as a lack of knowledge about Islamic finance and a lack of product variety. Overall, as an inclusive and sustainable investment instrument, Islamic mutual funds have many opportunities.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control (PBC) on tourists’ intention to visit Wali Lima religious tourism destinations in Indonesia using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. A quantitative research design was employed, and data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 200 respondents who had visited or intended to visit Wali Lima. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The measurement model evaluation confirmed adequate reliability and validity, with all outer loadings exceeding 0.70, composite reliability values above 0.70, and average variance extracted (AVE) greater than 0.50 for all constructs. The structural model demonstrated strong explanatory power, with the three independent variables explaining 65.2% of the variance in intention to visit (R² = 0.652). Hypothesis testing revealed that attitude (β = 0.372, p < 0.001), perceived behavioral control (β = 0.334, p < 0.001), and subjective norms (β = 0.298, p < 0.001) all had significant positive effects on visit intention. These findings highlight the importance of psychological evaluations, social influence, and perceived travel feasibility in shaping pilgrimage tourism behavior. The study extends the application of TPB within the religious tourism context and offers practical insights for destination managers in designing strategies to strengthen tourists’ attitudes, leverage community support, and reduce visit barriers to enhance pilgrimage participation.

Abstract

The digital transformation implemented by the Directorate General of Taxes through the Coretax Administration System introduces a new paradigm in tax administration, including the provision of pre-populated data for individual annual income tax returns. However, this innovation is not yet fully understood by taxpayers, including employees of PT Nariki Minex Sejati—a mining company with a large workforce. Initial surveys show that more than 75% of employees have never used Coretax and still rely on traditional reporting methods, creating risks of filing errors, data mismatches, and administrative sanctions. This community service program aims to enhance digital tax literacy, particularly understanding pre-populated data and developing the ability to use Coretax independently and accurately. The program was carried out through: (1) needs assessment via interviews, (2) socialization of tax literacy and introduction Coretax system, and (3) simulation of Coretax activation and initial use. Results indicate a 70% increase in participants’ understanding, and all participants successfully completed the activation simulation. In conclusion, strengthening digital tax literacy effectively improves taxpayers’ competencies in using modern tax administration systems. It is recommended that the program be continued through the development of a comprehensive guide for filing individual annual income tax returns and the provision of training materials to support self-directed learning.
